Fantastic country pub. Very good selection of Ales. Large garden to the rear and seating area out the front. Highly recommend.

Lovely local shop with a large variety of products and produce. The staff are always very friendly too. The meats are always delicious, and there's often pre made meals that are brilliant. Very lucky to have such a good local shop!

We enjoyed a lovely Afternoon Tea at The Almshouse yesterday. There were four in our party and two of us had smaller appetites so we shared 2 Modest and 2 Classic Afternoon teas. There were plenty of delicious cakes, scones and sandwiches to go around and we didn’t quite finish it all! The historic building is wonderful and it is a great setting for a relaxing time. I’d highly recommend this tea shop and if afternoon tea isn’t your thing they also have a tasty lunch and cake menu.

Every Friday & Saturday night without fail I get my curry here. I’ve eaten many Indians, but this one is like no other. Sultan regularly recommends new dishes for me and they never miss. He says try this, I try it. He says you should order this, I say let’s do it. If Sultan said jump off a cliff, I’d do it without hesitation. If I was on death row and they asked me what I want for my last meal I’d tell them to get me a sagwala and mushroom rice from Saagar. Thank you for making my life complete with your wonderful food

Best Italian I have had in a long while I asked for some additions to my arrabiatta and nothing was too much trouble the hand made linguine was superb Each of the 5 meals between us were excellent and we look forward to coming here again

The food was absolutely delicious. Alex even went the extra mile because I'm gluten free. If you let them know in advance, they will be able to do a gluten free burger for you. Lovely atmosphere in the garden and even toys for the kids to play with.

This restaurant is a little gem 💛 The food was absolutely beautiful! We had the chicken thigh for starters and we both have said since that we can’t stop thinking about it as it was SO good. I had the Ragu which was simply stunning and my partner had the Nduja, he was full of praise for it. Great service, and all round brilliant night! We will absolutely be back - we often travel to get a decent Italian meal, I can’t tell you how chuffed we are that we finally have one in our hometown.

A go to pub in the centre of Bridgwater that has retained a lot of character but still feels well maintained and well run. No loud music or distracting TV screens and a good range of drinks.

This is a small cafe with a big heart. Run by volunteers. We had coffee and homemade cake. Well worth a visit.

The perfect family friendly pub, with separate play area for the children to play in which they loved (aged 4 & 5), the staff were friendly, very helpful and made my daughters 16th birthday meal extra special. In our party there was 6 adults and 2 children - great grandad loved his fish and chips and his great grandson loved his children's sized steak. I thought that there was a good range of meals available which were all reasonable priced. The kids meal deal was a lot cheaper than other pubs I've been to, portions were spot on for them catering for every taste. What made the evening even more special - the staff brought birthday cake out all singing happy birthday to the birthday girl, she was even given a free birthday mocktail which made her feel very grown up! We have been a few times to the pub and haven't had any complaints with the food or service for a Saturday night it was quite empty but it had a really nice personal atmosphere. Will definitely be going back again

Visited La Rocca on Friday evening, great atmosphere! we were served by Ela who was very professional, bubbly & made our night very enjoyable. She is a credit to La Rocca! Definitely be back again, thank you to everyone!

We were coming back from holiday in Cornwall. We stopped off for lunch. The food was very nice and the staff were very attentive five stars from us. Abd dog friendly which was a bonus
