This is THE BEST Indian takeaway in the Southwest. We order at least twice a week and have for the past 3+ years and it’s been consistently amazing every single time. Each dish is different and unbelievably tasty. The prices remain very competitive, the staff so friendly. I can’t wait for Sultan to open a restaurant, I’ll be the first in line.

On Holiday from Haven, I wad fed up of expensive rubbish takeaways from Haven so tried SAAGAR around the corner, WOW it was amazing, generous portions with lots of chunks of chicken, really nice sauce and really fresh. Inexpensive but honestly the best curry I've had for a long time, even from the city I'm from. Highly reccomend. Chicken Bhuna, Pilau Rice, chicken tikka starter, poppadoms and mint sauce & mango chutney.

Fab food. Always has been. Good value. Nice people at the counter with good knowledge of the menu. Collection and delivery service is good.

First time here as we staying the local area. Went with this one due to reviews didn’t disappointed. Service was very quick. Food was hot and fresh and tasted really good with good flavour. High recommend.

We thought we would give this place a try whilst on holiday. Everything was spot on maybe a little bit spicier than expected but could not fault it. Gutted we waited til our last night to try here because we definitely would have gone again.

Ordered food at 5.45pm on Saturday, did assume it would take awhile but after almost 2 hour it turned up, tried calling several time but no answer, sent an email and no reply. When it did arrive delivery lady was friendly as normal. Unfortunately the rice and naan bread were almost cold and needed reheating but the curry was hot and flavoursome.

This restaurant won best Indian Takeaway in Somerset and thier food shows why they won. Its very fresh with perfect portions and never greasy or over cooked. The service is 100% and their delivery drivers are on time and very polite. Their ordering App is one of the best food Apps out there making it easy to order and track your meal. Their award for best restaurant is well deserved and we will be loyal customersr until we're 6 feet under!

Having given a poor review a few weeks ago I did have another home delivery and was really pleased with the food. Only hope the previous meal was a one off as I have always recommended Sagaar!

THE best Indian food in the area by miles. Plenty of chicken, tasty sauce, fluffy naan. Lovely staff. Can't fault it.

We have been ordering from sagar for a number of years. The order tonight was definitely different. The onion bahjis were tasty but the mushroom rice was bland and the chicken dopiaza lacked a depth of flavour.

The food from the Saagar is so good I can’t haven’t been able to find a Curry that even remotely compares to the taste and quality. The Garlic and Chilli Lamb curry is a particular recommendation.

Disappointing considering the glowing reviews. Chicken tikka masala tasted like pure coconut hardly any other flavour, watery and un appealing. The chicken was absolutely disgusting.

A 20 minute wait but well worth it. Good value for money, cost us £11 and there was easily enough food for three big portions. Lack of parking outside the restaurant and had to pay to park nearby but that was our only issue.

Best Indian takeaway I have had in a long time. Delivered to our holiday park in very good time. I enjoyed the chicken madras, my granddaughter the chicken korma, my grandsons the chicken tika butter and my son the chicken cylon. Everything delivered piping hot and very tasty would definitely recommend this one.

Stunning food delivered piping hot 15 minutes early straight to the caravan site . Everything was beautifully cooked full of flavour and exactly as described on the menu. Excellent value for money Would highly recommend.

Come to this takeaway everytime we're in Burnham on sea, one of our favourites! Ordered the set meal for 3, was roughly over £30. Slight price increase since last year but the food was excellent. It was made to order and tasted great!

Good prices, good portions and not afraid to use the flavouringsI've been to some places that do 'a good dish' and no matter what you order it will be very similar - That's absolutely not the case here. Great curry and dishes from Saagar, the flavours and use of spices and cooking is fantastic. The Duck Sultan is full of taste with a really nice Yogurt sauce. My order arrived promptly even on a Friday night. The naan bread was so fresh, very warm and full of taste, so the sides were amazing and so was the main dish. Thank you Sultan and the team. I highly recommend Saagar for great tasting Indian food and great service.

On holiday in Burnham this week had takeaway last night , finest chicken madras ever ,cannot praise enough ,only wish I lived nearer .

Visited saggar for the 3rd time on Friday 11th of June and I cannot rate this place highly enough. The service was brilliant from start to finish, and the food was incredible. The food was so tasty and the menu has many delicious choices. I will definitely be visiting this takeaway again and will be telling all my friends to as well.

Couldn't be bothered to cook tonight so decided to order from sultan. All I can say is tonights chicken tikka dansak was the best dish so far I have had from the menu. So flavoursome and just the right temp. (Madras hot). Couldn't fault anything. Well done to the team. Keep up the good work.

Lovely food, tried a few things from the recommendations and specialities which were all great- in particular Palak chicken and garlic chilli Bhuna. Delivered in good time,, food was nice and hot and with big chunks of quality chicken.

Fantastic Lockdown treat and at all other times. Used delivery service after ordering online from their website. The food and service is far better than others found on Just Eat or other websites/apps. Food arrived on-time, 1st class service from Saagar. The curry dish was pipping hot and full of taste. Really smooth sauce and excellent flavour and the spices really come through the food. Side dishes great, really great Sag aloo. Poppadum's really nice, no grease and nicely cooked. We known Sultan for many years and yet he still manages to surprise us.We ordered our takeaway tonight, but wanted one dish changing to match the taste of another local restaurant. Sultan knew exactly what we wanted, did it perfectly, it was amazing and all thus on one of his busiest nights of the week. Best curry in town, top service, top bloke!

Great Butter Chicken and Chicken Jalfrezi, good size portion lovely flavour. Plenty of chilli in the Jalfrezi and a nice hot sauce really hits the spot. I collect mine on Saturday as can be very busy and delivery time can be a wait. You can pre order before 5pm and put in a collection time . Always ready on time great service.

Sultan and his staff are always friendly and helpful when placing an order for delivery. The food is amazing, arrives on time and is piping hot. Best indian takeaway in burnham by far. Got to try the chicken tikka kebabs they are lovely and filling and we were even able to change the plain nan for garlic. Yummy.

This is my second review of this takeaway but it merits many more. I ordered online at 15.30 and selected a delivery time of 17.40. It arrived bang on time. The food is amazing. I have tried many online tutorials and recipes on how to make BIR curries, but none have come close to this. Good portions and no grease. A great evening was had by all. Thanks guys!

This is a fortnightly treat and not once have I been disappointed. Fluffy, hot naan. Lots of meat ( especially in the lamb tikka masala). Really nice people too - very friendly drivers and back at base.
