Best steak this side of Severn Bridge no body will beat it top quality food and a top quality host 👌 highly recommended to anyone 20 off us go every 2 or 3 months and never had a bad meal yet cooked 🍳 to perfection every time

Fish chips mushy peas and curry sauce Pasty and chips Great fish and chips / pasty and chips both hot and tasty with a huge portion of chips Mushy peas average not great curry sauce the same. Curry sauce was quite sweet and slightly spicy

Lovely welcome and lovely food. The menu offered variety, the staff were very warm and attentive and the ambience was homely. The portions and quality of the food were good and the coleslaw was the best ever! Would thoroughly recommend.

Unfortunately this friendly restaurant is now closed and has been for some time now. I would suggest the listing should be taken down until it reopens with new owners.

Best coffe in Burnham and ginger and apricot flapjacks to die for. Always stop here on our weekend bike rides. Very friendly. Would recommend without reservation

Dear Sweets, I'm writing to say a massive THANK YOU for one of your staff helping out one of our group on our annual 100 mile ride on Sunday. When we arrived she had just slid into one of the drainage channels on the other side of Glastonbury. It was a scary moment, she is nearly 70 years old and had become totally submerged. We had to drag her out and she was absolutely soaked and covered in sludge. The thing that kept her going was the fact that we were aiming for Sweets and may find help there. When we arrived, you were amazing and let her use a hot shower, with toiletries and a towel. On behalf of our club, Wincanton Wheelers, we can't thank you enough...….. BTW, she did carry on and complete the full 100 miles (she said afterwards that if it hadn't been for the shower, bacon roll and latte she probably would've stopped). Food was yummy! Coffee was good and the ladies serving us were really nice :) can’t complain! and the decor was super cool!

This was the worst meal any of us ever had we can not recommend the place cream in scones where off the sandwiches where stale salad was past it’s best coffee was bitter definitely not a place to spend a nice afternoon

Been here a few times now. First few times the menu was a bit quirky but cool and the food was the danglies, last time we went the menu was a bit more traditional but cool and the food was the danglies! (Spotting the recurring theme?)

A proper pub with good choice of drinks and nice menu. Staff were friendly and the food was quick and very tasty will def return when next in BOS.

The Dining Room is now CLOSED and is now THE MUSIC PANTRY, vegetarian, vegan, restaurant with various music events, haven’t been yet but though it might be prudent to advise of the new venture

First time visit and nice to find a cafe serving fairly priced, freshly cooked food. Dog friendly with welcoming staff. Food was delicious and large portions and they were happy to swap menu items unlike some places. They also sell freshly baked cakes so good for either a main meal, drink or light bite.

Having broken down on the motorway on our way to cornwall and stuck for 3 hours we were dropped at a local garage. As we were soaking wet and hungry we found La kage. Staff were very friendy and welcoming. Really polite staff and amazing service. Went out of they way to help get the kids dry and help warm them up. Absolutely amazing custom service. Definitely recommended La kage to anybody. Massive thank you for all your help

Very enjoyable Sunday carvery. The vegetarian option was tasty with lots of veggies! My friends all enjoyed the meat options. Desserts were homemade. Sticky toffee pudding was really good, would recommend it!
