The best restaurants serving Default food in Cheddar and Shipham Sedgemoor South West

We got a very tasty takeaway from here whilst we were staying on holiday. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant also looked nice to eat in.

Our first stop on a lush evening.. Great choice of local ciders and ales and along with an amazing beer garden with views to die for - what more could you ask for. Such a shame that this has now closed down

Ordered a takeaway from here whilst holidaying in Cheddar, 5 adults. Portion sizes were fairly standard, with a nice big bag of crackers! All the food was very tasty. Collection was easy, they give you a number to call when you pull up outside and bring it to you. We hope to eat in if we are ever in Cheddar again.

This is a small cafe with a big heart. Run by volunteers. We had coffee and homemade cake. Well worth a visit.

Visited La Rocca on Friday evening, great atmosphere! we were served by Ela who was very professional, bubbly & made our night very enjoyable. She is a credit to La Rocca! Definitely be back again, thank you to everyone!

The cupcakes are delicious, and the coffee is fantastic too. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area...you won’t be disappointed.

Great place. Lots of ciders. Local ones if you fancy trying some new and some commercial ones too. Food is simple and hot. If you like eating in Michelin star restaurants then forget it! If you are a normal person looking for sensible priced beer and grub then you will love it!

Super friendly cafe in a perfect spot for sitting amongst the Gorge scenery - tried the Cheddar ice cream, it was definitely a taste sensation for cheese lovers :-)

Hustled to the bar for Sunday lunch - The main room was all shut off. Waitress told us what was OFF the menu. Only one veggie option - a beetroot wrapped in pastry. The gravy was lovely though.The broccoli was yellow. We went home for pudding. Sadly a disappointing experience for a birthday celebration in a stuffy room with no atmosphere ☹️

A really lovely vibe in this cafe, beautiful display of food and lots of choice. Friendly staff to boot and the West Country Cider Chutney is delicious - so lovely I had to buy a pot to take home. Not the cheapest but you can tell they use quality ingredients and so well worth it!

I had hike in the gorge and was lucky enough to get a seat ( booking advisable). The food, service and innovation were a step above. This is one of best Indian restaurants that I have been to and I will come back with my family for a special occasion.

It’s like a fairytale place, really nice. The scones are awesome and the clotted cream a sin. Nice to find it

A friendly, welcoming place that is VERY dog friendly. I love the quirkiness of the tea room. We sat upstairs, which we thought was very charming, with a view out to the main road. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. They cater well for vegan, veggies and Gluten free. We joined their loyalty scheme and will definitely be returning. It seems very popular, so I would recommend booking to avoid disappointment.
