Just off the harbor front on the first bend on the right when walking up the street where all the shops are. Open at 8am. A delightful array of tasty morsels to work your way through. Cruffins, croissant like pastry in the shape of a giant American muffin filled with custard and jam. A truly pleasurable experience, cold or slightly heated for extra flakiness. The owner was also very accommodating and served me before opening time.

Loved this place! Went multiple times whilst in St Ives. I’m putting it out there that it’s the best coffee in the town! Delicious, you can tell the guys really care about what they’re serving! Pastries are also insane. I had both a chocolate torsade and the cheese and bacon croissant and my goodness they were delicious. 😋 Loved the atmosphere and had great baby changing facilities too!

Pengenna have supported ST IVES Community Foodshare project for the past few years giving surplus pasties to us to avoid waste and support the locals of the town. We are so sorry that they are closing they will be missed. Best wishes and many thanks to all the lovely staff.

Amazing , me and my partner stayed in st just and traveled all around Cornwall for the week and my partner was determined to find the best cream tea going. Everywhere we went seemed to be a little shop with no seating or a take away cream tea but my partner really wanted to find a little sit in restaurant/cafe and have the best cream tea. She was so happy with the cream tea from here and the staff are lovely and welcoming. 5 star experience happy wife happy life.

Great location, helpful staff. Food was outstanding and we didn't wait long for it to start to arrive. Plenty of variety on the menu. Plenty of non -fish options, even though I would say even someone who doesn't live fish, would really enjoy any of the fish dishes we had. Would highly recommend the crab nacy and the monkfish with mango salsa on Lebanese flatbread.

We went for lunch at 2.35 in the restaurant the staff were really nice and welcoming the fish platter tasted really nice but the chips were awful and obviously been warmed up as they were closing at 3.00 we did tell the wait staff who was a young girl but she didn’t apologise. What upset us more was all the staff came up for a lunch break and guess what? They all had fresh beautiful chips, this frustrated me further as it felt like we just got the cold end bits of chips from the busy lunch period. We are local so appreciate it can be busy lunch periods in season but I won’t be rushing back here for lunch any time soon or recommending it to family and friends

We spent nearly £300 on our meal, including service charge. At the end of the evening, I politely asked for a paper bag to take away some cheese. To my surprise, the staff gave me a bag that was half covered in grease. When I requested another one, it was in a similar condition. I then asked if I could have a clean bag—and was told I was being rude for asking. I was genuinely shocked by this response. After paying such a high bill, I don’t understand why it would be considered unreasonable to ask for a clean takeaway bag. It was an unexpected and disappointing end to an otherwise enjoyable meal.

So sad if it’s true they are closing this St Ives branch of their 3 stores. Sad if the town is making business too expensive to run. Thankfully they do delivery, adds about £1 per pasty. Their vegan pasty has the biggest variety of vegetables inside. I love buying few to take home and freeze each May when the St Ives Food Festival is on. St Ives has the biggest selection of pasty shops with such variety of fillings and pastries, both savoury and dessert. By the time you eat from stalls on the beach of the food festival, have a fruit and custard pasty or amazing cakes for breakfast and a savoury pasty or eat out at fantastic fish restaurants for dinner, just accept you will come home several pounds heavier. Next year i had planned to ask Pengs to have several vegan pasties frozen for me take home. At least i hope they return to St Ives with a stall on the beach for the next May festival. In fact i wish all the pasty shops would get together to have tasting trays of their pasties, on the one stall on the beach festival. It’s just impossible to get thru them all in 3 days. And Pengs will be most missed.

Absolutely loved our visit to the Cornish Bakery in St Ives! This place is a must-stop if you’re exploring the area. The traditional Cornish pasty was everything you’d hope for—rich, hearty, and full of authentic flavor. You can taste the heritage in every bite. But what really surprised me was the Pea and Feta Pie—light, fresh, and packed with flavor. It’s the perfect vegetarian option, and honestly, one of the best combinations I’ve ever had in a savory pie. The staff were friendly, the service quick, and the view from the seating area made everything taste even better. Highly recommend grabbing a few different pies and enjoying them by the sea. We’ll definitely be back!

We stumbled upon this place per chance and so glad we did and ate here twice whilst in holiday. The views are amazing and the food delicious. On a lovely day you could easily think you were on the Med with the aqua blues of the sea and golden sands. We ordered Chicken Gyros from the Grill for 2 in a sharing board and it was so tasty.
