Visited almost every day for bread and the occasional sweet treats. Amazing bread. Nice to have 'proper bread' No additives. Gutted we leave for home tomorrow.

Love the Cornish Bakery, wherever we find them, always good food and coffee at a reasonable price, and can’t think of a time we didn’t receive friendly, welcoming, service.

Thank you for your recommendation to try the rhubarb and custard pasty. Probably would have past on the idea. Glad we didn't. Delicious.

A lovely bakery with tasty offers. The traditional cornish pasty was tasty but I had a tastier one in Mevagissey. Coffee was done perfectly. The chicken tikka pasty was delicious. I could taste the sweetness of coconut in the curry. Plenty of seating upstairs and clean toilets.

This is just a great bakery with everything tasting as good as it looks. Pain Au Chocolate and the Portuguese Tarts were just two of the many highlights. Get there early, as these baked goods don’t hang around for a good start to the day.

Great pastries and coffee. The croissants were like being back in France, and the coffee was perfect. Reasonable prices too.

Went in for a coffee and to warm up was greeted by lovely friendly staff and was made to feel welcome and had an even better coffee lovely spot.

Me and my girlfriend popped in for coffee to drink in. We both Had de-caff lattes and were amazing. The service was very good and young chap who us served was delightful and would definitely recommend too give it a go.

My partner and I went in for coffee and a croissant and had a wonderful experience, amazing coffee friendly and attentive staff, nothing more to ask for.

Went in for coffee as it was a really cold day and wanted something to warm me up. The coffee was amazing and so smooth with little or no bitter taste. The team was friendly and advised me what milk alternatives they had due to allergies. Would recommend and tell friends about ! Happiness in a cup !

Had an apple-rhubarb turnover that was the best I've ever had. Great for sweet or savory. Nice staff.

We came here for lunch twice when holidaying in St.Ives. Both times we sat at the 'bar' opposite the counter. The prices are cheaper for takeaway as obviously there is vat to pay when eating in. Both times I had a vegan pasty, and i'm not vegan. However it sounded so good! It was spicy cauliflower and onion bhaji pasty. It was so nice that I had it again when we visited the second time.

We went into this cafe with our two dogs on a rainy day last wek. The dogs were welcomed in when we asked if they could come in. My little boy who is 8 wanted me to write this review as he said the pasty he had was 10/10 and the best pasty he had ever had. Great staff and great food.

I'm lactose intolerant and the staff were very helpful in what I could eat. The vegetable pasty was completely free of milk and very tasty, just the right amount of seasoning too. Thank you for a very enjoyable lunch.

A lovely spot for lunch and coffee. The staff were welcoming and helpful, even sharing their own recommendations and they were right! One traditional pasty - very tasty, not overpowering with pepper, good, soft meat and warm too! Plain scones were soft and tasty and great choice of strawberry conserve to match the clotted cream! We finished it all - the coffee is smooth and all in all, very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. (Where the locals go, is best!)

The most disgusting pasty I have ever had. Not made with skirt just a small lump of meat in the middle totally tasteless.

I have drank a lot of coffee in St Ives over the years and this place is the absolute best every time I go there. Lovely staff too! xx

We've been to the bakery on a number of trips previously at differenttimes of the year. Really enjoy starting the day with a coffee and a pastry, or a Cornish Pasty at lunch time. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food always top quality. It always improves a trip when you know theres somewhere dependably good to eat.

Visited during February half term. Received lovely service from the man with the great tattoos behind the counter (John?). The staff had great relationships with their regulars. I had a bacon, leek and cheese pasty and a raspberry croissant. Both lovely. My mum had an Americano coffee which she raved about. Highly reccomend

Lovely hot chocolate to take on our boxing day mooch around town. Friendly staff and really good prices. Would have had something to eat as it was all looking delicious but still full from Christmas day dinner! Will definitely have something next time though.

i had a traditional Cornish pasty from here 3 times. Consistently good, delicious filling, seasoned but not oversalted like one I had from another establishment and no soggy bottom of the pastry.

They managed to get 200 pasties to feed the whole ships company at short notice. Really good pasties and reached the ship at a perfect temperature.

This is a great bakery. I didn’t try the pastys (but assume they are great based on everything else I tried), but did love all the treats I did eat. I should not have tried the amazing cherry almond croissant as I may have walked...

This is THE best bakery for authentic Cornish pasties. I tried several other independent chains and they were nothing like The Cornish Bakery; they are award winning for a reason! The store in St Ives is the best one as it's very clean and staff...

The cauliflower & onion bhajee’s pasty was delicious. But the atmosphere and customer service was awful, I won’t be “ sitting in” next time! The staff made customers feel rude and the manager was most unhelpful.

Best coffee, best croissants and best service in the area. Where other bakeries in the town have spent money to appear artisanal and chic, the Cornish bakery is authentic. Get a loyalty card - you’ll use it.

I’m a traditionalist and really enjoy the steak pasty more than the alternative Pasties. At this moment in time , for me this is the best pasty producing bakery in St Ives, but I will continue to try alternatives to see if they can better...

Visited twice during our week's stay in St Ives. Yesterday after a 7 mile walk along the coast desparate for a cream tea. Excellent choice for friendly staff, tasty tea at a sensible price. They were still busy when we left late afternoon .

We just called in for my wife to have her Cornish pasty fix and she was delighted and I had a thoroughly delicious croissant so full marks thank you.

This is the best place for croissants in St Ives. Large, warm and buttery. The almond and cherry variety are to be recommended. I visited daily but bought bread elsewhere.

A warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. I asked for an almond croissant and one was freshly prepared and baked for me in 5 minutes. The coffee is delicious too.

Keen to support anyone producing vegan versions of classics. Our family of 3 vegans and an omnivore, tried the Cauliflower and onion bhajee vegan pasty. All agreed how great it is. Fantastic pasty and filling.

Been going here during lockdown and my family and I love the Cornish pudding cake as it is very yummy with a cup of tea for a takeaway. The staff are excellent and are so happy and friendly. Would recommend anyone to go here.

Great cafe, staff really friendly and helpful as it can be daunting going into shops and cafes not knowing what their layout and rules are based on Covid restrictions. The food was very good and reasonably priced, highly recommended and would definitely visit again.

We wanted to have lunch before a visit to the Barbara Hepworth museum & were lucky to get a table at Cornish Bakery. As we were short of time we opted for toasted sandwiches but having tried a few of these during our holiday weren’t too optimistic. However we were in for a lovely surprise as the sandwiches were freshly made & full of filling with a very tasty side salad. Unfortunately like a lot of places these days due to COVID they offer a restricted menu but everything looked very tempting & we wished we had been able to sample a cake or two.

Lovely bakery with great croissants, coffee and helpful staff! They even let me take some milk for my morning tea . We had pain au chocolate and their apple and rhubarb pastries and the Portuguese tarts and all were lovely.

We absolutely love the Cornish pasties from The Cornish bakery, these are the only ones we eat every year on holiday. The staff were really friendly and helpful, we ordered a box of 10 traditional pasties for an hour and a half later and I turned up and they had been freshly cooked and placed in a box and taped up with napkins and bags inside ☺️ Delicious.

The coffee is like a golden elixer of life, and the ham and cheese croissants are simply so good 😍 Highly recommended!

I went to The Cornish Bakery on Wednesday 11th March and had a cornish pudding and white mocha which were delicious. I've been to this cafe several times before when I've visited St Ives and always receive great customer service. It was nice to try something a little different as I usually go for a cream coffee! Very refreshing place to go to to relax. Quiet there at the moment but only due to the coronavirus. Hope that this place continues to be successful! Many thanks for all your efforts.

On the Main Street in amongst the other shops is this little gem of a bakery and Cafe with inside seating and a stand up bar area. Excellent coffee, cakes, pastes and rustic sandwiches. Dog friendly as well. Easy access for wheel chairs and buggies. Would recommend. Plse like if this helped.

I work in St Ives, I've tried a few different cafes for my lunch, but this is by far the best, delicious food, friendly service and oat milk for my decaf coffee, highly recommended

Have visited st ives every year in February and always loved the Cornish Bakery's italian hot chocolate - really thick and rich. However was so disappointed when, during our recent visit, the hot chocolate was incredibly weak/watery - it was greyish brown in colour and tasted like warmed up milk...no chocolate taste whatsoever!! Been looking at some of the other reviews and am hoping they were just having an off day - otherwise there are definitely some quality control/consistency issues going on! Would have gone in and had a hot chocolate every day (during our 7-day stay) but in the end decided not to risk being disappointed again.

I just nipped in The Cornish Bakery for a take out. The two men serving were very friendly and they allowed me to take my dog in while I ordered food. I had taken my reusable cup and so they gave me a discount on my coffee. The Oat latte was lovely and the cheese and onion pasty was amazing. I will definitely be calling again on my next visit. Have been in St Ives 3 days and popped in as time to wait before our train. Best Americano coffee (sourced from Union hand roasted coffee) since we have been here. Husband loved the hot chocolate, strong but not too sweet.Friendly staff. Would definitely come again.

Popped in today to escape the weather and had the most amazing cream tea and pork and apple cider pasty . I have visited St ives many times but only discovered this little gem of a bakery today . Was served by a young lad with his hair up and a young lass with long blond hair , I think the lass called the lad Josh . They were both very polite and did not stop , serving and cleaning to ensure customer satisfaction was met , credit to the company .

I visited the Cornish Bakery the other day and was served by a very nice young lady name Katie, even though it was a small order of Latte and something to eat. She could not have been more helpful, steering me through the range of pasties.The pastie and coffee was very good, and the service was second to none.

My family and I popped into this bakery for some pasties and were pleasently surprised, they were delicious! Living in Cornwall ourselves, we have sampled many pasties over the years and these were definitely one of our favourites, they had great texture and taste and were very well seasoned. It was great eating hot pasties on the the St Ives quayside. The pasties were very filling, great for some lunch to please the whole family, we are definitely coming to get another one of these when we are next in the area.

I was lured in by the Portuguese custard tarts in the window - they were amazing. We also tried the almond croissant and chocolate twists, all gorgeous!
