Brilliant pasties and also tried the pizza which was amazng and also the toasted paninis and again, excellent. Really friendly guy in charge and made us feel very welcome. Even let my 8 year old have a free panini because we were so polite. 🤣 Went back 2 more times the food was so good. Wish I lived closer ( I don't think they deliver to the east end!) Highly recommend 👌

This was my least favourite I’ve cream in st Ives. The ice cream was decent however there was a lack of choice and flavours compared to the competition. It was also overpriced for what you got (compared to the competitors). Furthermore, the server was extremely curt to the customers…definitely something to work on.

Now called courtyard cafe. Worst cream tea I have had and expensive. Scones were obviously shop bought and microwaved and were not fresh along with cheap tasting raspberry jam with no choice. Quaint place and staff were friendly enough. Nice location but pity about he quality of food.

Best Cornish pasty! Great vegan/veggie option! Always greeted with a smile! Cookie also went down a treat! Definitely returning

Went in for food and drink, good selection of drinks, ordered the food, fish finger sandwich, fish & chips. & onion rings, fish and chips not great, batter was soggy inside and a salad had appeared on the plate which wasn’t advertised £14, fish finger sandwich was appalling, never order this as it was just fish fingers bought from Iceland in a box, could have made better myself £9 & onion rings which I asked if they were beer battered and they said yes and to my amazement they wasn’t £5, so overall it wasn’t a great lunch at all, won’t be going back.

We booked a table early on a Sunday evening and, because we had our dog, we expected we'd be sat on the heated terrace. But we were surprised to see we were sat inside. We had a nice spot not far from the entrance, but still sea views. Service was very friendly throughout. Quite a small menu, but something for all of our group. I had the asparagus pasta dish, which was really nice, followed by a toffee apple crumble dessert. Really tasty too! All in all, a great evening!

Avoid!! Staff are so so rude! I wish I read all the reviews before we went in there. Cups were filthy, milk was off and had lumps in but when I asked to change it the young lady got in a mood when I asked for clean cups and fresh milk as if that was a lot to ask for in a place that serves it! Asked twice as everything they gave me was disgusting. She snatched the cup out of my hand both times.! Ended up leaving. Ruined our day out. Whole place is filthy and packed of dogs. Chef was out stroking a dog in his apron then went back to making food in the same apron covered in dog hairs. Maybe employe staff that are happy to do their job and actually want to work instead of stand around talking. And staff that understand basic hygiene. Not sure how it’s a five star? Shouldn’t be allowed to serve anything!

Visited after the gallery, had been beforehand and they did lovely salads, quiches, coffee and cakes, hadn't realised menu had changed but thought would try it, big mistake. Overpriced, over £40 for soft drink and 1 course lunch, worst thing was service, unfriendly, miserable staff, won't bother going there again. Porthmeor cafe on the beach outside has far better views, lovely staff and great food so will stick to going there!

Great bakery.. The pavlova and cheesecakes are the best I've had in a long while! Creamy beautiful pavlova, lots of fruit, meringue and creamy 'unctioness' ! Definitely a go -to when I'm in St Ives!

We were warmly welcomed by smiling staff and given a choice where to sit. We chose the conservatory with delightful views owner the lawns to the river and marina. The menu had signs of a creative kitchen with a small but tasty collection of dishes at reasonable prices. We chose the fish and chips. It as a big fillet with crisp good quality batter and nicely coloured chips. Very tasty. The desserts were also enjoyed. We could image that this pub has very busy times as it’s such a nice position on the river and a super venue.
