Best Cornish pasty! Great vegan/veggie option! Always greeted with a smile! Cookie also went down a treat! Definitely returning

I never read any comments before my review, but can agree with most on here service a smile is not part of staff training Great coffee in decent sized cups Banana loaf is really nice But ladies smile Be chatty It goes a long way for getting customers to return

Rude staff! Should have realised then the food would be crap. The roasted veg sandwich is served cold! Absolutely disgusting taste. Partner also said the sausage roll was dry and unpleasant.

Disappointing visit today because of the unfriendly service, literally a “tell me you hate your job without telling me you hate your job” moment, felt like a real inconvenience to the senior lady serving. To make matters worse she passed two boiling hot coffees with lids that didn’t fit properly over the counter which meant they just spilt everywhere as you can’t carry two cups full of coffee with lids that don’t fit without it spilling out…total disappointment, plenty of other places in st ives to spend my hard earned money, so won’t be returning I’m afraid. Such a shame as food was nice but common decency such as hello, or what would you like, instead of a blank stare is a must for any customer.

Having been out for the day we arrived back in St Ives at 5.40pm, we had sandwiches from here before and knew they were good. I approached the counter and said I was glad they were still open and could I have a CBLT sandwich. The young girl behind the counter gave a deep sigh and said she wished they were closed and clearly in a mood started to make my sandwich. I told the senior lady on the counter that I wasn't happy with the assistants attitude. She said I had to understand that in hospitality they work long shifts. she offered no apology. There are a lot of other places to eat and buy pasties etc from in St Ives and in future I will go elsewhere.

Amazing Cornish Pasty! Hot, packed to bursting and full of flavour. We also had a sausage roll and chicken & Chorizo pasty! All delicious

Really really really good coffee, cracking pasty, friendly staff and quick service. Plenty of choice and would recommend!

Lovely little shop with a really good selection of food! “The Ham” toastie is not too be missed and their cookies are to die for! Good healthy breakfast options available although yet to try. Very polite staff too :)

The sun was shining and it was cold but we wanted to sit outside. Great coffee and chocolate brownie! Lovely location too looking over the harbour.

This is our fourth stay at Slipway part of the wonderful Saillofts development overlooking Porthmeor Beach. The house is always spotlessly clean and has everything you could want in a house rental. The large balcony overlooking the beach seats 6 comfortably for an evening cocktail. Three ensuite bedrooms are a rarity in the holiday house rental market....so this is a real find! Easy access down the Slipway opposite on to beautiful Porthmeor beach make the house perfection.

Really good ham hock and cheese toastie and a great cappucino. The cakes and crab sandwich looked delicious . Having those next visit

Had the mushroom ciabatta and it was amazing! They made it vegan for me without any hesitation. Family members had sausage rolls which they said were lovely. Really cheap aswell. Definitely give it a visit and sit by the harbour for a lovely morning in St Ives.

I thoroughly enjoyed the vegan sandwich I got from The Slipway. Full of flavour and just the thing for lunch on a hot Sunday in St Ives. So many of the takeaways have vegetarian options but vegan choices are harder to find and this was a real winner

Excellent. Just excellent. Stopped here for a coffee and decided on their sandwiches. They were amazing. I had the Salt Beef sandwich. Having just eaten at Salt Beef bar in Selfridges I can honestly say that it’s equal if not better. Well done. Think this a new place. Please do come along to it. Highly recommended

This small takeaway food outlet is very good. The coffee we had probably best we have had in St Ives. We bought 2 pasties which also very good. Located right on the harbour
