A really nice Cornish pastie, it was piping hot! The only thing I’d prefer is a bit more black pepper/seasoning, but just my personal choice.

Lovely coffee - they use Union Coffee, which is the best - and lovely crispy croissants. Good staff work care about the coffee they make and the service they offer. Visited three or four times in a week. Thank you!

had my first scones and tea experience here and it exceeded my expectations! crumbly buttery scones paired with the cream and jam was just a delicious experience. Service was lovely too.

Delicious Cornish pasty and sausage roll

Great pasties, available with many different fillings. Friendly, smiley staff. Reasonable prices, considering the central location in a very touristy town.

Lovely little Cornish shop, pasties (the curry one in particular) are great. Coffee also very good. However, the scones were very poor - cooked badly and completely off tasting - definitely too much butter used.

Came in for Cornish Pasty. Quite expensive to eat in but no worries. Pasty was tasty but very little meat inside. Overall experience brought down by one of the servers behind the counter who when I said no thank you to any drinks to the lady serving me, scoffed, laughed , looked directly at me, made a comment to his other male colleague. The lady server tried to cover it up by laughing and smiling at me awkwardly but I then felt extremely uncomfortable eating in. Ate as quickly as possible and left. Would I come back NO.

Unbelievably expensive coffee! Even London boutique coffee houses don't charge so much. Tourists have little choice and so these places can charge whatever they want.

Delicious cheese and onion pasty

If you want an incredible Cornish pasty this is the place to come. Great service and coffee too.

This coffee shop has a nice variety of coffee, but the main attraction is the pastries. A great place to have a cheeky coffee. Pet friendly if that matters to you.

Good pasties, great patisserie, and the best coffee I've had since moving to Cornwall a year ago.

Really lovely staff ( Callum, Harvey & team ) quick friendly service with a smile and great food. It's my favourite place for a pasty, slowly working my way through the menu. My favourite product is the Cherry almond croissant.

Disappointed. Bought 4 frozen pasties to bring home from holiday. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Pasties, though, were not great. The meat was poor quality (gristly and tough), not cut small enough, and there was not enough of it (mostly potato and onion with very little swede). Nothing to do with the cooking - we make our own pasties at home, which are far better, and a more genuine recipe. We'd gone here based on good reviews, so I have to wonder how genuine the reviews are. Be warned.

Good decision to try Cornish pasties here. The traditional pasty was great with plenty of filling and the right amount of meat and potatoes. Also tried the spiced cauliflower version and it was a surprise hit! Chicken masala in our next visit was good albeit lacking in the chicken department. No complaints in the taste and flavour department though. Beef chipotle has a kick to it which I liked. Best to go early if you want all the options available as they run out quick and then there is a wait till the next batch comes out piping hot out of their ovens. This has been added to my list of places to visit when in St Ives.

Had a wonderful visit here, the staff were all really friendly and there's a great range of food on the menu including some delicious pastys. They have the traditional one as well as other options. Had a vegetable pasty there and a cauliflower and onion baji one to take away. There's some seating but it is limited.

Lovely cafe, pasty was amazing and the coffee was fab. Seating area could do with a clean, dust was falling from lamp shade onto food. Otherwise it would have been five stars.

Beautiful breakfast bacon and cheese croissants and pastries . Lovely friendly staff. Thank you Henry for making us the best extra hot flat white coffees this morning. Definitely will be back for more coffees and cakes soon.

Great coffee and range of pastries but definitely on the pricier end of spots in the town.

There is only one queue regardless if you are eating in or taking away and no table service at all so it takes a while to get your food and get a seat if you're eating in. On the day we visited the only toilet was out of order so no customers were able to use the toilets and no alternative toilet facilities made available. When I queried this (as my mother needed to use the toilet) the staff member accused me of 'giving attitude' and then asked extremely bluntly and loudly 'is it a wee?' in front of all of the customers waiting in the queue causing us to feel uncomfortable. Food was fine and coffee was good but poor experience overall.

On a rainy day. A great place to stop for a proper cornish pastie and a cup of tea. Staff were professional and very helpful 👏

Delightful traditional Cornish pasty!

Food was decent although just bought £30 of food and the person serving was distracted by making coffee and forgot a cake that we paid for. So a little annoyed when I got back to find it wasn’t there.

Popped in for a sausage roll before visiting the dentist. Best sausage rolls I have tasted in goodness knows how many years! Yes, they are expensive but you really are getting what you pay for. These are quality!

Customer service really poor. More interested in messing around with each other.

Fantastic pastries, great coffee. Highly recommended.

Fancied a cuppa and a cake so we popped in. Had two warm pastries that were delicious. Me and my mum had a pot of tea each and I managed to have my oat milk so I'm very happy. Lovely cafe and the staff were lovely. Definitely pop back again.

Raspberry almond croissant was AMAZING. Bought two. Wish we had something like this in London. Will attempt to make it myself. Forgot to photograph.

Lovely staff great baked goods, best fruit scone I’ve ever had.

Particularly enjoyed the brownie made with almond flour which indeed melted in the mouth. Great tasting bacon and leek pasty too. Tall white and latte were perfect and made extra hot as requested. Comfy seating area, more spacious than other cafes nearby which gives more privacy.

Served by the man with great tattoos behind the counter (John?). Staff had great relationships with their regulars. Had a great Bacon, leek and cheese pasty and a raspberry croissant. Both great. Highly reccomend

Great little bakery, stopped in for a fruit scone and coffee, which were both lovely. Fresh and crumbly. Took home a steak and cheese pasty which was amazing! Staff member , John was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back again!

This cute bakery specialises in Cornish pasties, we had a great breakfast while visiting. The cafe is located a short walk from the seafront and John is very friendly and does amazing latte art!

It has been an instant affair with this place! In my first day in St Ives I tried their coffee and 2 of their pastries - fell completely in love! That’s why for the following 7 days I was there every day! Difficult to convince myself to try any other bakery 🙊 The pastries are super fresh and good quality! The doughs have the perfect amount of crunch-flaky-no weird moisture-amazing flavor-mix! They also have a very extended option for both pastries and coffees! Tried quite a lot of their options in the past 7 days, so I don’t know how I’ll manage without now 😅 They allow dogs inside and the seating area is comfortable and welcoming. It is possible to only pay by card. The bathroom could definitely use better care throughout the day though..

Excellent pastries and pasties. Really enjoyed the vegetarian ones especially the spicy cauliflower pasty. My son loved the beef chipotle pasty. Very good and friendly service. Will definitely visit again. Great range of hot drinks, especially enjoyed the chai latte.

I cannot express how scrumptious and nice there chilli and beef pastie is. Oh my! I'm currently on the drive back to London where I'm from and it's all I can think about, nothing will even come close. Excellent service, friendly, reasonably priced.. and as stated a blooming scrumptious pastie. Nomnomnom

Try a pasty from here!! We took a selection, all were fantastic and just what you want in a pasty, especially enjoyed the cauliflower and onion bhaji filled one delicious!

We stopped for a pasty for lunch. The traditional was just that. Lots of pieces of beef (no mince in sight) plenty of filling, very flavourful and piping hot. Amazing.

The perfect snack while strolling around St. Ives. First hand experience for cornish pastry and we enjoyed it! 👍

The Spicy Cauliflower and Onion Bhaji (vegan) is without doubt the best pasty I've ever had and that's including before I went Vegan

The almond croissant was tasty and different with a jam inside it, and the pasty tasted good but lacked the steak for that price. The coffee was also nice, and beware that this place is usually full.

Fantastic! 10/10 Yes the coffee and food is great but the staff really make it what it is. They are friendly and professional, well organised and efficient. With the staff shortages in St Ives the Cornish Bakery are lucky to have such a brilliant team of people working for them. Thank you all very much for your ongoing awesome service!

Nice hot coffee... Clean and quiet

A new favourite bakery of mine, the cheese and bacon pasty wend down well with my friend, so much he went back twice more for the same one. A great selection of veggie pasties too! I really like the cauliflower curry one. Also have tried the spectacular almond croissants!

Got there a bit late so the pasties were not as fresh but the flavour was really good! Next day, although we didn't eat there, they had a wide offering and each looked more delicious than the other

I may have found my new favorite croissant. The almond & cherry croissant is amazing. Great combo and the right amount of each and put that inside a perfectly flaky croissant. Wow! The fruit scone was nice was well and I appreciate the cream and jam for take away. I may have to go back tomorrow for another treat….

I think it could be the best cornish pasty yet

Always good quality food and blooming lovely pot of tea. Josh looks after us brilliantly but actually all the staff are great. The curried cauliflower pasty’s are my husband’s favourite but I can’t resist the Welsh rarebit.

Definitely recommend the Raspberry GF croissants and the Apple, Rhubarb and Custard Pasty. Wasn't a great fan of the Leak, Cheese and Bacon Pasty, but the Cheese and Onion one seemed really good. Good service, friendly folks, don't take Amex sadly.

Great food with wide selection.

Visited two years ago and left my review then below for reference. Went in 2021 and had two very delicious scones. Great. Scones look great however they don’t taste great. Very bitter. You can tell the bicarbonate of soda wasn’t mixed throughly when making. Couldn’t finish mine, very disappointing.

One of the best bakerys to get a wide array of flavoursome pasties in St ives

This place was clean and tidy but the service and food the cornich pasties with a huge crust and the sausage rolls almost inedible the person who was taking our order kept using his fingers to pickup the hot food and then remembering to use the tung

The carrot cake was fine. No vegan cake options when I visited though.

The Spicy Chickpea and Potato pasty is the best! Highly recommend this and other items on their menu

Great pasties and scones from here. Lots of choice and the option of eating in. Not the cheapest around but delicious quality and I really enjoyed the special spicy cauliflower & onion baji vegan pasty.

Not the best Cornish pasty at all. Saw that The Cornish Bakery had rave reviews and had to check them out. The pastry was extremely thick, meaning that it took 2 or 3 bites to reach any of the filling. The filling itself, although meaty, was under-seasoned and bland, making for a forgettable experience.

Good value pasties and not full of gravy like the ones from other outlets in St Ives. They taste like proper pasties and not like a Gregg's steak bake

We just had a coffee and a hot chocolate from here, and the coffee was good, but the hot chocolate is why I’m writing this review. It was so creamy and full of flavour! The best hot chocolate I’ve had during my Cornwall holiday. Really delicious and I wish I could have it again.

Always great service when we frequent St Ives. Ordered 2 boxes of 10 traditional pasties. Cooked fresh and collected on time. Don't go elsewhere. This little shop is all you need.
