The Rose in Vale is a gem of a hotel. The current owners, Paul and Claire are incredibly accommodating, doing everything they can to make your stay the best it can be. The hotel is immaculately clean, the staff are brilliant and the food is really excellent! We'll definitely be going back. JE. Hagley.

I never leave reviews but for this experience I felt I had to. Was unsure what to have to eat tonight, a bit fed up with the usual chippy or pizza so the wife said she fancied a Chinese but after reading the awful reviews we decided against it. We then spotted this little Thai takeaway and I have to say it was absolutely fantastic. Everything was perfect from ordering to extremely friendly service on collection. I can highly recommend the Thai red curry with chef's special chilli rice, stunning. Thank you 😊

Fish was overcooked and one portion burnt. No staff asked iffood was okay, when meal finished, staff cleared table and askrd if okay, we replied no. She said i will tell.kitchen

Love this place We come quite often now , although in a tourist area. The service and location is second to none. will keep coming back x doggo friendly

I have lived near Perranporth (GOONHAVERN) all my life and I adore the wateringhole but £7.50 for a pint of rattler is ATROCIOUS, considering Healey's is legitimately less than 3 miles away. Gylly beach cafe charges £5 for a pint of Rattler and they're nearly 10 miles away, It's sad. Get on Pard card cause you're killing the local business off, it's a shame because I've got very vivid memories of getting hot chocolate for cheap and seeing plenty of people I knew but now it's different. I understand times change and people move and catering to different people but in this economy it'd be nice if you looked after us locals a bit more.

We booked a table of 10 for my sisters 60th birthday. The place isn't that big and it felt a bit claustrophobic. Our party ordered various things. I ordered lasagne which came out burnt and was obviously heated up. No meat in it. Was awful. No salad or garlic bread and they charged fifteen pounds!!! . Most of our party left our meals. Portion sizes were quite small. Gave them a birthday cake to bring out and asked for a knife to cut it with and was presented with a cake slice!!!!!!! To top it off there was a 46.00 pound service charge. 😡😡

Bland, basic and boring. First and last visit for us, shame as it’s so local, staff are rude and food is actually terrible I have had better micro meals

The staff were friendly and the food at the retsaurant was great. The wifi, phone and TV reception was poor.

The selection of ice cream is great and a friendly service. The ice cream itself was very good with fresh cones which also had a good selection.

We found this pub by chance and there were 7 of us with 3 dogs. We had a mixture of food- big fish portions, burgers were great (according to the kids) vegetarian lasagna was lovely. All came with homemade chips. A very dated pub which i would say the locals keep it going. But it's how pubs should be - it has character.

Very rude and unwelcoming female member of staff. I wouldn’t mind so much but we were the only customers as well. Food mediocre at best - and they wanted me to pay cash only! Really in this day and age. I refused saying card or nothing so she reluctantly produced a card machine. Bet the tax man will be interested in this!

Do your self a favour and keep on walking! Seriously, this place is bad, like really bad, actually the worst fish and chips I ever had. Fish was far from fresh with a horible texture, like it was defrosted a few days ago and the batter was a horrendous colour from the dirty oil it was cooked in and chips, well they were vile as well, made from what appeared to be bruised potatoes and they seem to have been reheated, very odd. We literally had to throw the lot in bin and I did taste lest a foul taste for quite some time. Honestly, you're probably best avoiding this place.

Great food and atmosphere. We were on holiday here and staying nearby. We went here twice for breakfast. Great staff and perfect vibes.

On a cold March evening us 2 blokes were looking for a good meal. We found this place and had a fantastic time. There was only us and another couple in all evening from what I could see, but the waitress was very helpful and attentive and the food was SUPERB. We shared a fishy starter, had a bottle of the house red and then my penne with bacon and mushrooms was absolutely heavenly. Highly recommended.
