Superb Thai takeaway in the centre of town. Food was fresh and flavoursome! I had the Red Curry, which was excellent, the Pad Kra Paow was superb and the Pad Broccoli is a healthy option 😊

Well what can i say, we decided on getting a takeaway one evening to take back to the campsite so fell upon this place. Gail, the lady front of house was just amazing, Norman the chef was just an absolute gentleman too. The food, OMG, just fabulous, the tastes of this gorgeous food was fantastic. All freshly cooked and served with a massive smile. Loved every bit from the point of order to eating it. Definitely going back here again when back in Perranporth.

The food is absolutely incredible. Its authentic and real. The lovely lady at the counter gives perfect recommendations as well depending on our tastes. We purchased seven take outs meals 4 Pad Thai's and other dishes including rice, we were initially informed it was cash only, however when the staff realised the size of the order, suddenly informed us we could pay on our card. Collected from Piran Thai and returned to nearby campsite where we were camping. Rice and a Pad Thai missing from order, so returned back to Piran explaining the missing items. we were met with extremely abusive female staff who accused us of making up the fact the items were missing and stated that she had photographic evidence of the order being intact. When challenged to show us the photographic evidence, staff rushed away stating they would grudgingly cook missing items. When we left with the order staff came out and photographed our car !!! When we came to eat the meals the Pad Thai was so bad, tasteless and glutinous we could not eat it and wish we had not bothered with whole experience. This is the first negative review I have ever submitted and hopefully the last.

Hate to leave bad reviews but our pad thai was so bad it doesn’t deserve more than a one star. Firstly, we took this away and after a few spoonfuls I saw a big dead flying ant in my dish. As you can imagine it went straight in the bin. I wasn’t even disappointed that I couldn’t eat any more as it was the most bland pad thai I think I’ve ever had. I’m sure the “noodles” was tagliatelle pasta, maybe a few pieces of carrot and broccoli and no seasoning, no sauce, no toppings… We were too far to go back but will definitely not be eating from here again…

Friendly staff, very yummy food and quick service. Wandered in looking for a dinner spot and was not disappointed. Sat in the window seats and played cards whilst we waited but only time for 1 round it was that quick! Would defo recommend for a quick dinner or delicious takeaway 😄

I live in Perranporth, and have been coming here for years. I have eaten at a lot of Thai restaurants and takeaways and this just doesn’t hit the spot anymore. I feel like there is a huge lack of love going into her meals these days. Her flavours used to be incredible. I used to rave about this place, and never heard a bad word. But over the last few years, it’s just gone downhill sadly. Last night, unfortunately was the last time we will waste our money on this place. Her pad Thai, which to me is the most simple of Thai dishes, doesn’t even come when peanuts, chilli and slice of lime like it should and is incredibly sweet. (I did ask for these, she said she doesn’t have them, which is a bit of an odd thing for a Thai takeaway to say!) The dumplings, used to come with a delicious sauce, now they come dry and flavourless to be honest. The Massaman (which, was always a firm favourite from this place) barely has any depth of flavour, just coconut with a bit of spice and in the curry, along with some other veg we only had one tiny potato. It’s super sad, as Thai is my all time favourite. But I just can’t justify spending my money here anymore, when it just isn’t up to the standard of another place we have recently started to visit since getting fed up of being let down by Piran Thai. We did keep returning even after a few bad meals, not only because of convenience but because we think the owner is lovely and we wanted to support her but we won’t be visiting again. I refrained from writing a review, but I feel that now, something needs to be said. Really sorry 😔

Did not disappoint! The food was absolutely incredible. Service was super friendly and only took 10-15 minutes from when we ordered. Would definitely return for some more:) If you’re around in the area, you need to check it out.

Lovely people running this takeaway serving authentic Thai food. Veggie options were Delicious!! Great location, whilst they prepare food it's 30 seconds from the beach or sit inside with a beer or a milkshake. Thoroughly recommended.

Gluten Free are words that immediately put a smile on my friends faces and it was said enough while discussing what's available on the menu that one friend was giddy with the options available. The staff went through and explained how they keep everything separate and safe giving us peace of mind while we dug into a gorgeous takeaway.

All our meal were delicious! Highly recommended. Very friendly service and prepared 8 meals quickly (we were missing 1 rice but I didn't count them out, so my fault too)

I’m half Thai and decided to try this establishment. I went in with my boyfriend and his mum (both not Thai nor Asian), we all very much enjoyed the food! Very lovely staff, had a nice conversation with the lovely lady serving us. 10/10 would recommend if you are near the area. So kind even to let us sit and eat inside!😊😊😊💗

Absolutely lovely. I live in Perranporth and just wanted to try something new. I've been to Thailand and the food is incredible, as is this place. Warm and friendly staff that you can tell, care about they are doing! Not greasy rice, tasty ingredients. Definitely give it a go.

We perposely went via Perranporth from Plymouth to Redruth as the the Redruth thia was closed. The website claimed they were open however, on arrival they weren't. 😡

Myself and my partner come to Perranporth every year and have visited this Thai take away for the past couple years now and everytime they dont disappoint the most delicious food around in Perranporth! We now have a two year old who also demolished her noodles! She is the most fussiest eater I know! We look forward to next time! Also the ladies here are so so lovely! So welcoming and happy! Thankyou so much! For anyone who wants to know what we had, I had the cashew stir fry with chicken and noodles and shared this with my daughter and my partner had the Thai green curry with rice and crackers! We also shared some spring rolls which were delicious!! Perfect perfect perfect! They deserve 5 stars! Xx

These ladies really deserve 5 stars! Such lovely ladies and delicious food!!! The best Thai I’ve had! Myself and my daughter had chicken cashew stir fry and my partner had the Thai green curry with some freshly made spring rolls! Honestly they won’t ever disappoint we come every year on our holidays and love it everytime! Well worth a visit! Thankyou Ladies wish you were closer to us at home! I would order every week if I could!

I really wanted to leave a nice review as they seemed nice people. However it was the worst Thai food I've ever eaten. I've had a lot, even my Thai husband couldn't eat it. Sad, as there aren't many good places to eat nearby so we were looking forward to it!

We were holidaying in Perranporth last week and decided to try the food from here. When we first walked in the lady made us very welcome even said hello to our Westie really lovely friendly staff. We ordered our food with a 25 minute wait... Spring rolls from fresh which were amazing!! We had 2 different curries with rice they both tasted delicious with slightly different flavours. Great quality food , tasted great and a warm welcome. If we were to say anything negative we would just suggest abit more chilli heat but that's just our taste. Next time we will definitely be visiting again thank you

First rate Thai Food in Perranporth. I am slowly making my way through the menu. Phad Thai and all the curries are delicious! Highly recommended!

Terrible…. Extremely overpriced for what you get. We’ve eaten at many Thai places and this was a major let down. I hate writing bad reviews but we feel like we’ve been conned. Massaman curry contained 4 tiny pieces of chicken and was filled out by carrots and a huge boiled potato. Starter didn’t contain any sauce / seasoning as described. Very expensive and definitely no frills. Taste was OK but only OK!

Possibly the best Thai we have ever had! The pad Thai was to die for, fresh, and tasty. Many people get this wrong, but this was spot on! The Massaman curry that my husband had was just delightful. Cannot fault you guys it was simply amazing

My husband John & I live in Warwickshire where we have some super Thai restaurants! We visit Perranporth frequently; we never imagined that we would find such a SUPERB Thai takeaway here in this gorgeous little seaside town! Our friends have recently come down here with us and also said how fabulous the Piran Thai is! The food is so tasty and perfectly cooked every time! We highly recommend!

Had another excellent meal from Piran Thai. Lovely tasty curries at a very good price. Very good sized portions. Highly recommended. Staff always very friendly and helpful.

So the flavours were good, the price was not! We felt for what we paid we did not receive a lot. Hardly any chicken in the massaman curry I think I counted 5 pieces( thin pieces!) and 4 prawns in the pad Thai. For this reason we will not buy again from here

This Thai takeaway is amazing. The prawns and spring roll starters.... incredible. Noodles, rice, chips, pad Thai, broccoli etc etc again incredible, flavors beautiful. Definitely give this place a try, lovely family run Thai, don't be put off by it looking like an ice cream parlour. Holidaying here and already cannot wait to come back!!

This is definitely the worst Thai food I have ever had and is taking the Mick out of holiday makers. We had red chicken curry and Chicken Massaman. Both dishes were exactly the same except the massaman had a boiled potato. The curry was thin coconut milk, and probably a teaspoon of paste. 4 pieces of dry chicken were added to the bland watery mess. If you really like Thai food give this place a swerve.

Tasted OK but felt slightly ripped off with 4 soggy tempura prawns for £6.00 and curry lacking in chicken. Dissappointing after waiting quite some time. Too much money for what it was.

Go here every year for their tasty Red and Green Thai Curries, excellently cooked, very tasty and just the right kick. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Well recommended

Really wanted this place to be good. The staff are so friendly but we where so unhappy with the food. Never had a pad thai so bad, no idea what happened. Was lacking in any real flavour, for some reason was so so sweet, it could honestly of been served as a pudding. Never had one like it and it lacked many of the ingredients you would expect. Shame, isn't a decent please in Perranporth for takeaway anywhere at the moment.

Gorgeous authentic thai takeaway

I ordered veg pad Thai I was looking forward to as had it several times in Thailand when I got it home I was extremely disappointed as all it was was a mush of greasy noodles and a few carrots a piece of raw broccoli and burnt so called crumbs of egg

Lovely authentic homemade Thai food that were cooked by a lovely Thai lady. Highly recommend the Thai fish cakes and tom yum soup.

I have had excellent dishes from here and some quite poor. It is run and cooked by Thais so is fairly authetic and I do know my Thai food having spent a lot of time in Thailand.

This place is brilliant. The staff are so amazingly helpful and kind. The food was authentic and delicious, so I can't recommend it enough. It is an absolute credit to Perranporth. I also noted all the ice cream flavors, so I will definitely be back to try some of those as well!

Quality thai food, amazing flavour and authentic taste

We were so excited to have dinner from this place but what a disappointment it turned out to be. We love and know Thai food. The pad Thai was missing key ingredient and had not been cooked with either the right sauce or was old… the color of it was completely off. Pale, soggy noodles missing most ingredients on it. The egg roles were bite size over priced soggy things as well and let’s not even discuss the fried calamari/squid… over priced low quality and hardly any quantity of squid. I don’t know if it was a bad night for the chef but we won’t be trying again.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but last nights dinner was beyond disappointing. We ordered the chicken pad Thai which is a standard dish… it was missing most ingredients and it had not been seasoned correctly giving the noodles a pale look and leaving leaving flavorless. The fried squid and the egg roles… way overpriced for what your offering. The squid was £6 and I think we got maybe 6 or 7 poorly battered pieces of squid and the egg roles…£5.50 for 6 miniature pieces of poorly seasoned tiny egg roles. It’s a shame because we really wanted to like this place and we were so excited about getting food here.

Firstly the owners are great, really welcoming and good service I ordered fish cakes, and red curry. The wife had pad Thai The fish cakes were scrummy, made with haddock! The red curry spot on, hot but didn’t burn too much, great creamyness to it! The pad Thai was a bit bland sadly! The wife said the meat was great though. Thai isn’t really about no spice. Fantastic take away. We have recently moved to the area and are so excited to know we have a great local Thai restaurant on our doorstep. We loved the tempura vegetables, pad med mao-Niamh him ma-paan (beef and cashew stir fry) and the coconut rice. We will be back soon.
