The best restaurants serving Default food in Mevagissey Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

They ALWAYS serve AMAZING food, they provide excellent service and nothing is too much effort. Even a grumpy Charlie dog doesn’t stop them from trying to give him attention too. We come to Cornwall twice a year, 1 week and a 2 week holiday. We can’t wait to come back each time. Whether we Eat in or take away it’s all prepared, cooked and served with love and care. All year round the onion ring BANGLES are a must & when it’s the season a battered mince pie for pudding. Keep up the AMAZING work. 10/10 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dog friendly 🐾🐾 Child friendly 🥰

Stopped for lunch Amazing pasties and coffee, nice friendly staff to. The location is perfect on the harbour to. Lovely seating outside to enjoy your food and drinks.

Superb breakfast, 2 full Cornish fry ups, a cream tea and a sausage bap. Superbly cooked, quality ingredients, speedy service and friendly staff!!

When chatting to John at the Mevagissey Bay Hotel about walking over to Gorran Haven he said we should try the Cornish Pasties at Cakebreads. So after a walk around the beach and harbour we set off up the hill to find the Post Office/store which he directed us to. On arriving we found nothing as we expected it, yes there is a shop and it does double as a Post Office, But it also has a great little outside seating area with a bar. We were amazed to find out that this was also used for live music nights. There must be a great atmosphere here on one of those nights. It was a pity we were not staying longer as we would have definitely like to have had a night out here. John was 100% correct the Cornish Pasties were the best I had tasted since all those years back, eating my Aunty's pasty on the rocks in Mousehole. If you are in Gorran Haven this must be on your list to visit a apsty to beat the best.

We stopped for lunch lovely Cornish pasty and cake, there is an excellent selection of pasties, pies and cakes. Also lovely baked bread. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Nice cream tea but made to feel a little small when asked to move to another table away from the garden view as they were all reserved

Lovely tasty cream tea. Scone was one of tastiest I had ever had. Husband had bacon and brie sandwich that he also really enjoyed.

Visiting the area so saw this restaurant and checked out their reviews first. Excellent food, onion bhajee’s were one of the best we have had, had a completely new dish Honey Chicken Masalla which was delicious. Portions really good size and great value. Would definitely recommend!!!

Why has no one mentioned the fabulous soups? Always home made, always hot, always a great choice including vegan options. We visit all the time.

This spa day was completely made by Megan. She gave me a back, shoulder and neck massage and it was honestly the best massage I’ve ever had. She was incredible. It was such a relaxing experience - she took me through everything, put me at ease and even after the massage spoke me through tight areas, knots and how to maintain the help that the massage has given me in the coming days. The rest of the girls at the spa were great too - provided my mum and I an alternative to the alcoholic option which was a lovely smoothie. Just wanted to say thank you so much for today!

Lovely place to sit outside & eat/drink whilst looking out over the bay.

As a vegan, I'm always nervous going to restaurants without vegan food on the menu but we called ahead and were told the chef would come up with options for me, and oh boy did he!! I was absolutely blown away, I've never experienced that level of care from a chef and he and his food by far exceeded our expectations. Thank you Dan!! That staff were all also really helpful and friendly, very attentive without being overbearing. I'm sorry I didn't get any of your names but thanks all!! A really special birthday dinner.

We thought this place was fantastic. If you want something a bit different then this is what you want..If you are picky then perhaps give this a miss. No real menu or prices ( turned out to be really reasonable ) sort like eating in a strangers living room and you share what they have..Totally loved it..

Es gibt nichts zu essen. Schade, dass ich dazu so viele Worte verlieren muss. Es ist ein Pub ohne essen. Billardtisch vorhanden.
