Had a lovely lunch. Check your bill as both our table and another had items on them which we hadn't ordered. May have been a new member of staff.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. Absolutely the best place on the island for lunch or a tea. Delicious food, all made on site. Excellent soup with focaccia and fabulous desserts. Beautiful garden with tables or seating indoors or in the charming greenhouse amongst the vines. Friendly and excellent service.

A fabulous place to stay nothing to much trouble staff friendly and professional I stayed 2 nights in a upstairs studio looking out to sea I have travelled to many countries but the uniqueness of Bryher and particularly the Hell Bay Hotel is second to none the rooms and furnishings are of a very high standard and all the meals I had were cooked to perfection.

On a day trip to St. Martin's we were looking for a place to have lunch and stumbled upon The Island Bakery. We were very happy we did. Everyone is very friendly and the food is outstanding. All the baked goods are first rate. I had never eaten a "frazzle" before, but thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend it.

The food was absolutely first class and the staff were helpful and chatty. We weren’t disappointed with anything we ordered. Really tasty sandwiches and a lovely cream tea.

Excellent stay. Brilliant staff , fantastic food. A special thanks to Kyle for being a great host. Will definitely return.

Delicious tapas in the evenings. Incredibly flexible for gluten free diet. Brilliant service. We sat outside which was beautiful. A real highlight of my summer.

Scottish lady who seated us was needlessly rude and abrupt. Food was delicious and other staff friendly

What an amazing place. We were recommended to come here by friends and had to book several months beforehand. Even then we had an outside (terrace) booking. Thankfully we were upgraded due to a cancellation and we were moved inside. what a fabulous meal and the staff were so helpful. Book early!!

Have been here for food before but it has a greater variety of food rather than just pub food when we last visited a few years ago . They were using up their food as it was nearing their winter opening times but still a good choice of food. Didn’t need to book as went when food service started. Locals and people working on the island also came later so it made it feel cosy . Very helpful & friendly staff & good food

Stayed for 5 days in HellBay Hotel which isHeaven on Earth!😂 You can even take your dog there Island Fish is the best place to eat unless you dont like fishes. The deserted beaches are magical. Ask who is Frodo - if you like dogs you will love him to If you go to St Martins eat at the seven stones pub. Food fab u lous view is even better! I scoredthis a 4 out of 5 as it is so expensive to get there and there are too few places to stay

I have always had fantastic service here, the food is INCREDIBLE, especially Rob’s homemade pasties but I am sad to read some recent comments.I would urge everyone to remember the Isles of Scilly are virtually unique, we are a very small community, and like everywhere, we have housing issues. Nearly every business here is run by family, with perhaps a very small amount of staff, we are very seasonal and not an all-year-round destination which adds to recruitment problems. This is our HOME, we LIVE here, it is our COMMUNITY and everyone tries their very best. But please remember we all have lives and family in addition to working. We all welcome, and encourage visitors, but I think what keeps us special, and keeps you coming back is…. THE PERSONAL TOUCH and that means sometimes personal/family needs happen. May be rather than leaving a less than positive review, you take the time to be “part of our community” which means so much to you, and find out why somewhere is closed, or short staffed, at exactly the time we should be earning a living to survive the slow/quiet winter months.
