The best restaurants serving Default food in Wealden South East

Very poor food cold smelly staff did not care waited a long time they did not want us there the table cloths were not clean there was food on the floor

Ordered a delivery last night on Just Eat. After two calls where I was told my food was being delivered asap and cold kebab turned up 90 minutes late. No explanation, no apology. There are far more reliable establishments in the town whom deliver hot food. Try them instead.

Food and drink fine but don't drop in if you are walking your dog. I live alone with my dog and I like to take her a Jack Russell with me. I often go into cafes and pubs with my dog but Costas do not allow dogs.

Absolutely fantastic venue, very accommodating to my vegetarian wife. Gave her great help on what to order and then when she forgot to order cheese in her veggie burger, they offered to do it for free with no hassle or complaints. Great service, clean venue, and helpful/friendly staff! Will definitely be coming to Halsham again to visit this KFC

We have ordered from Canton a number of times but always picked up the delivery ourselves. Tonight we thought we’d have it delivered as it’s NYE and now wished we hadn’t. We ordered on the app and put in our time slot, payment went through and received confirmation of order - all good we thought. Time slot came and went, no delivery. Tried calling which took ages and then told it would be with us in 20 minutes, 20 minutes came and went. The order turned up an hour and a half late by which time we weren’t really hungry. Canton used to be quite good but the quality wasn’t great and we were disappointed. I doubt we’ll use this take away again.

*Do not use* I ordered a delivery from their website. The order was rejected, I phoned to check why and to request a refund. I was passed to a so called manager. He was very aggressive about the refund. After a heated discussion he shouted down the phone “ You Fuc*ing Bastard” and slammed the phone down. This place and this manager are an utter disgrace. I hope you get boycotted by the Heathfield residents and go bust!

We had cod and chips on a weeknight. Ordered in their website for collection. They charged extra for ordering directly on their website compared to In the shop. Waited ages. The chips were pale and unappetising. The fish was disgusting. The batter has a strange flexible texture, not crispy. It had soaked up a serious amount of oil. It was orangey colour. Don't risk going. Head to one of the fish and chip shops on Uckfield high street.

Ordered via food delivery app, good presentation but poor quality of food.

The worst McDonalds experience ever. Took 10 minutes to get our food and watched others get their food after our order. Too busy play fighting with each other and messing around then giving us the right order. Was missing a cheeseburger but we chose to leave without it as it was too much fuss. Should go into WWE considering they can’t read a receipt properly.

All the staff are unhygienic, especially one lanky tattooed boy who looked like he’s never seen a shower in his life, food was abysmal

Absolutely fuming at the state of our pizzas. No covering at all on parts of mine...and i paid for 'extra cheese'. The tomato base was so thick in places and nothing on other areas, resulting in my mouth full of tomato base. Hardly any other toppings.They must have literally thrown the ingredients on. How dare anyone treat someones food like this? Disgusting. The other pizza was burnt and with hardly any cheese also with massive amounts of base in several areas. I can only describe these pizzas as NASTY. Never again will i risk ordering from freshwater square again. If the so called chef is reading this then let me tell you...you re in the wrong job. Your skill is in our bin. Vile. An absolute disgrace to your employer.

Just had a bit to eat and was shocked to see a bacon sandwich was £7-99 (really)anda light breakfast £6-99 please explain how this is possible, its a blooming garden center not Ramseys
