KFC Hailsham - Ropemaker Park in Wealden

This Hailsham KFC branch is amazing. My order is always ready on time, i never have to wait long and the food quality is top notch. The staff here are great. Tara, Davy, Jaden, Ben, Adarsh, Charles, George, Nazifa and the rest of the staff do a stellar job and deliver great friendly service. I am usually a harsh critic but i had to give this place 5 stars. I love coming here! Keep it up guys!

Once again outstanding from young workers, Davy and Jaden, chicken was incredible, clearly a use of their secret sauce 😉, top-notch customer service, could have shook their hand and kissed them right there. Fantastical review from me.

Poor service, long delays and no interaction with customers bearing in mind they had issues

Got beat up in the bathroom while talking a shite staff broke down the door (because I asked if they could make my fries in a different non chicken oil I'm a vegetarian) so yeah 1 star and they got my order wrong.

It was not very warm better insulation needed to make it more enjoyable

I am not happy .Took over an hour for the food to arrive, the shop is 5 minutes away. When my order finally arrived the chips was soggy and cold plus burgers and wrap where cold too. Wrap was stale and the chicken in the wrap was cold. The only good thing about my order was the bottle of Fanta to wash it all down with.

perfect! First time ever I've ordered from KFC through just eat, and had no items missing even the dips were there! food hot, cooked perfectly and was delivered 20 mins earlier than expected. Thank you I really hope this standard continues. makes such a difference. nothing worse than items missing from.your order. so this was a great experience

our food was cold and the delivery driver gave me the food and stood at my door expecting a tip food was exstreamly disappointed

ordered this at 11 30 as we needed to leave at 1 45. it's now 1 10 and it's only just arrived

30 mins late!! Food was cold and half was missing! No kids meals and no drinks. The sauce I bought was missing! The chicken was boned instead of boneless too.

The chicken was burnt and dry with no flavour. The chips were cold and dry, very disappointed!

Dead atmosphere, staff dull... Not even a smile! Order 2 drinks.... Waited 7mins for drinks when no one else around... Both drinks flat, Pepsi too sweet to even drink - not sure what it's got in it! Watermelon refresher - tastes of nothing!

Food was cold. Food took almost 30 mins to be ready…after saying that it was ready. The staff got my order wrong. The place looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Someone get a half-capable manager in this place!!!

my zinger burger and hot wings were lovely fries were ok it's a shame that the rest of the order was wrong no beans got gravy🤮 and no extra corn on the cob so 6 out of 10

Always liked kfc in Hailsham but when u get it delivered u never get breast ov chicken next time will ask for breast apart from that it’s good

chicken was barely warm chips were warm and soft not a nice meal.

Had quite a wait at lunch time ..but they were busy with only 2 ( that I could see) working)..Food was good chicken moist (usually quite dry ) and chips had been seasoned and were a much better flavour

Food is good but the screens are still broken or the staff need training on how to use them. Everything sits on “it’s ready” so you don’t know when it’s ready, nothing is on “cooking now” Restaurant was full this evening and nobody knew when their meal was ready. So stupid.

Food was cold, and smashed when it finally arrived

Ordered a 6 piece bucket. Got 6 drumsticks. Unbelievable. How does that happen? If you can't move your drumsticks in-store, don't palm them off on online orders. A bucket should include a mix of cuts. Won't be ordering from here again.

Much cleaner than it used to be BUT now they are so pushed on targets on how fast they get food out they just move it to ready for collection on the board as soon as you put the order in so you can't actually tell when it's ready Update, it's filthy, it's slow, you can no longer order at the counter and the food has gone downhill

Order was missing a Large side Gravy and other side (coleslaw) was regular instead of large which I paid for. Called the restaurant but they said to contact Just Eat for a refund, didn't even apologise 🙄.

Driver turned up, on the phone while driving, then proceeded to mount the pavement and drive down it till he came to my address. When I order the food it out the estimated time at half hour away then that clock just kept going back and back and back

Chips were dry. One chicken drumstick and a wing thing, tiny portions. Mini burger -chicken piece was replaced by one tiny fillet, didn’t even fill the mini bun. Always disappointed, don’t know why i bother ordering from here, i live in hope. Doesn’t matter how many times I order i never get anything except chicken drumsticks. £20 for two tiny pieces of chicken, one tiny chicken burger (tinier than normal), very small chips (that don’t even fill the packet they’re put in), smallest tub of gravy

when I ordered it said would be here 5.10 then kept changing by 5 minute windows. arrive 5.30.

awful experience whole order ruined because they sent the wrong items. had to ask for a full.refund spoke to the manager who was very professional and understanding and did everything he could to make it right but I was able to so having to go through just eat for a full refund bad experience with my order kfc customer service was great....Just well we will see if I get my refund.

I came here for the first time as the KFC on Lottbridge had let me down so many times. This one was so much better. The chicken was hot and fresh. Staff very friendly and efficient. Really good quality. Will be back.

35 minutes for my order. The restaurant was full of waiting customers when I entered but staff didn’t warn me or any others who followed of the delay. I was only notified when a woman complained. Seems the same lad mentioned in other recent reviews was working on the front when I ordered too. No interest in apologising and he kept barking at the staff in the kitchen. No suggestion of any compensation, refund, a little extra something etc to soften the blow. I order here regularly and have found it to be okay at best, but yesterday was the last straw as it’s disappointing this appears to be more than a one-off bad experience.

Worst KFC. After hour preparing food... Order cancelled... So why bother accepting order and then after hour cancelling.... Very bad.

Total shambles. Took 30min to get my order which was Mighty Bucket for One. One person serving who spent most of his time yelling for more chicken which wasn’t forth coming. Heard someone from the back asking him to tell customers there would be a delay but he didn’t. Not even an apology. The counter was completely unmanned for periods of time. Seemed to be lots of staff at rear laughing and joking. Didn’t seem to be anybody in charge. As for the display that announces your order is ready when you’ve only just placed it and obviously hadn’t even been started, what a joke! Looks good I suppose! Place needs a manager that knows what he’s doing. Saturday at 8.50pm.

Quite simply the worst KFC experience ever. Chaotic beyond belief,just glad it’s not my local one.Place just packed with waiting customers whilst “eats” guys are served. Too small to operate with any sense of order. Till not working…dropped drinks on floor.AWFUL BEYOND WORDS.

Bloody AWFUL. 1/2 hour for a few bits of chicken. They are more focused upon Uber Eats. Food overcooked. FAST FOOD 😂 If the parent company knew how poor this outlet is they would close them. Loads of staff and their excuse, only 1 cooker/fryer. Avoid this place. 😡😡😡

delivery driver sat in her car on the phone for 6/7 minutes with our order in the car. wasn’t until my partner went outside she got out the car to give us the order. it was cold and soggy

Absolutely terrible ordering machines out of order finally got served, had to wait 15 minutes (NO CHICKEN READY) and in this time they were more interested in getting all the online orders done , not concerned about the customer standing there. When I eventually got my order the chips amounted to about one very small potato worth, and the 4 bits of chicken just chucked in a bag. Either sort this place out or close it and turn it into something useful ( maybe a hairdressers, estate agents, charity shop because Hailsham needs these)

This is one of the least organised branches of KFC. Always seem to wait ages or be told that what I want isn't available. The staff seem to chat amongst themselves a lot of the time.

Cold.. I could see from the map it was collected and then driven in the opposite direction from my house obviously for another delivery but by the time mine arrived it was Stine cold. Won't be ordering again.

Food and drink missing from our order

wow - small portions! for almost £30 I was expecting more

Absolutely atrocious delivery service, phone line disconnected so there’s no way of communicating on the status of your order. Also we had the flu and waited for over an hour for our food. Three delivery drivers were selected on the Uber app to deliver our food. Our two year old was getting hungry so my Husband had to go and collect it himself for the staff at kfc to tell him it had just come out when it was stone cold from sitting there the whole time since we ordered it! Very dishonest behaviour. On another occasion I went in on my way to collecting my child from nursery and ordered a small pop corn chicken and a fruit shoot, I waited for 20 minutes and the delivery couriers were being prioritised after I had ordered and I was then running late to collect my child so I just left. Couldn’t be bothered to try and talk to the staff behind the counter as they were very busy so I just left. Will not be ordering or visiting from here again.

Ordered a sharing bucket tonight and when got home and opened it, it contained 9 drumsticks and a tiny wing that resembled a shriveled witches finger. Very disappointed with the selection. 😡

Food was delivered later than original time slot, due to restaurant being very busy. The delivery driver had to wait instore for half an hour for the food. Food quality was ok though.

Driver just left my order in downstairs communal area without any communication. By the time I realised what was going on my dinner was cold.
