KFC Hailsham - Ropemaker Park in Wealden

Food was cold. Food took almost 30 mins to be ready…after saying that it was ready. The staff got my order wrong. The place looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Someone get a half-capable manager in this place!!!

chicken was barely warm chips were warm and soft not a nice meal.

Had quite a wait at lunch time ..but they were busy with only 2 ( that I could see) working)..Food was good chicken moist (usually quite dry ) and chips had been seasoned and were a much better flavour

Food is good but the screens are still broken or the staff need training on how to use them. Everything sits on “it’s ready” so you don’t know when it’s ready, nothing is on “cooking now” Restaurant was full this evening and nobody knew when their meal was ready. So stupid.

Food was cold, and smashed when it finally arrived

Ordered a 6 piece bucket. Got 6 drumsticks. Unbelievable. How does that happen? If you can't move your drumsticks in-store, don't palm them off on online orders. A bucket should include a mix of cuts. Won't be ordering from here again.

Much cleaner than it used to be BUT now they are so pushed on targets on how fast they get food out they just move it to ready for collection on the board as soon as you put the order in so you can't actually tell when it's ready Update, it's filthy, it's slow, you can no longer order at the counter and the food has gone downhill

Order was missing a Large side Gravy and other side (coleslaw) was regular instead of large which I paid for. Called the restaurant but they said to contact Just Eat for a refund, didn't even apologise 🙄.

Food so salty was inedible, took 95 minutes from order to delivery to be thrown in the bin, not happy at all

Driver turned up, on the phone while driving, then proceeded to mount the pavement and drive down it till he came to my address. When I order the food it out the estimated time at half hour away then that clock just kept going back and back and back

Chips were dry. One chicken drumstick and a wing thing, tiny portions. Mini burger -chicken piece was replaced by one tiny fillet, didn’t even fill the mini bun. Always disappointed, don’t know why i bother ordering from here, i live in hope. Doesn’t matter how many times I order i never get anything except chicken drumsticks. £20 for two tiny pieces of chicken, one tiny chicken burger (tinier than normal), very small chips (that don’t even fill the packet they’re put in), smallest tub of gravy

My food didnt arrive the app had told me it had been delivered but it never showed up

Parts of order missing, food not very hot. Tuff chicken, no flavor poor poor poor.

Worst kfc in the hailsham … short staff and not good service at all … waiting long time but no one came to take the order.. very disappointed.. I will ignore this one next time..

20 minutes waiting.....no one is taking orders....Worst kfc in the hailsham coz not good service food colour is not good enough looks like too fry and very hard to eat and tasteless and flavourless...try other KFC not this one.

awful experience whole order ruined because they sent the wrong items. had to ask for a full.refund spoke to the manager who was very professional and understanding and did everything he could to make it right but I was able to so having to go through just eat for a full refund bad experience with my order kfc customer service was great....Just well we will see if I get my refund.

when I ordered it said would be here 5.10 then kept changing by 5 minute windows. arrive 5.30.

I came here for the first time as the KFC on Lottbridge had let me down so many times. This one was so much better. The chicken was hot and fresh. Staff very friendly and efficient. Really good quality. Will be back.

35 minutes for my order. The restaurant was full of waiting customers when I entered but staff didn’t warn me or any others who followed of the delay. I was only notified when a woman complained. Seems the same lad mentioned in other recent reviews was working on the front when I ordered too. No interest in apologising and he kept barking at the staff in the kitchen. No suggestion of any compensation, refund, a little extra something etc to soften the blow. I order here regularly and have found it to be okay at best, but yesterday was the last straw as it’s disappointing this appears to be more than a one-off bad experience.

Worst KFC. After hour preparing food... Order cancelled... So why bother accepting order and then after hour cancelling.... Very bad.

Worst experience with a delivery app I’ve ever had. Disgraceful how long it took, and the quality of the food once delivered, was dreadful.

Young people are running the show everywhere these days. But all these young people had everything under control. Well done all.

Total shambles. Took 30min to get my order which was Mighty Bucket for One. One person serving who spent most of his time yelling for more chicken which wasn’t forth coming. Heard someone from the back asking him to tell customers there would be a delay but he didn’t. Not even an apology. The counter was completely unmanned for periods of time. Seemed to be lots of staff at rear laughing and joking. Didn’t seem to be anybody in charge. As for the display that announces your order is ready when you’ve only just placed it and obviously hadn’t even been started, what a joke! Looks good I suppose! Place needs a manager that knows what he’s doing. Saturday at 8.50pm.

Quite simply the worst KFC experience ever. Chaotic beyond belief,just glad it’s not my local one.Place just packed with waiting customers whilst “eats” guys are served. Too small to operate with any sense of order. Till not working…dropped drinks on floor.AWFUL BEYOND WORDS.

Bloody AWFUL. 1/2 hour for a few bits of chicken. They are more focused upon Uber Eats. Food overcooked. FAST FOOD 😂 If the parent company knew how poor this outlet is they would close them. Loads of staff and their excuse, only 1 cooker/fryer. Avoid this place. 😡😡😡

Ridiculous waiting time considering I live 10 minutes down the road

Everything was cold and I barely got any chips and most of them were squished as they were placed at the bottom.

delivery driver sat in her car on the phone for 6/7 minutes with our order in the car. wasn’t until my partner went outside she got out the car to give us the order. it was cold and soggy

Absolutely terrible ordering machines out of order finally got served, had to wait 15 minutes (NO CHICKEN READY) and in this time they were more interested in getting all the online orders done , not concerned about the customer standing there. When I eventually got my order the chips amounted to about one very small potato worth, and the 4 bits of chicken just chucked in a bag. Either sort this place out or close it and turn it into something useful ( maybe a hairdressers, estate agents, charity shop because Hailsham needs these)

Food was nice and hot, delivered quickly. Couldn't ask for more

This is one of the least organised branches of KFC. Always seem to wait ages or be told that what I want isn't available. The staff seem to chat amongst themselves a lot of the time.

I did not receive my order but was charged for it.

Driver didn't follow the instructions regarding ringing the door bell

Very disappointed chicken was very dry seemed like it was reheated and over cooked.

Cold.. I could see from the map it was collected and then driven in the opposite direction from my house obviously for another delivery but by the time mine arrived it was Stine cold. Won't be ordering again.

Food and drink missing from our order

wow - small portions! for almost £30 I was expecting more

Absolutely atrocious delivery service, phone line disconnected so there’s no way of communicating on the status of your order. Also we had the flu and waited for over an hour for our food. Three delivery drivers were selected on the Uber app to deliver our food. Our two year old was getting hungry so my Husband had to go and collect it himself for the staff at kfc to tell him it had just come out when it was stone cold from sitting there the whole time since we ordered it! Very dishonest behaviour. On another occasion I went in on my way to collecting my child from nursery and ordered a small pop corn chicken and a fruit shoot, I waited for 20 minutes and the delivery couriers were being prioritised after I had ordered and I was then running late to collect my child so I just left. Couldn’t be bothered to try and talk to the staff behind the counter as they were very busy so I just left. Will not be ordering or visiting from here again.

We were missing sauce but also the cheese tasted off - delivery wise they were so polite and on time as usual - thank you!

Ordered a sharing bucket tonight and when got home and opened it, it contained 9 drumsticks and a tiny wing that resembled a shriveled witches finger. Very disappointed with the selection. 😡

Food was delivered later than original time slot, due to restaurant being very busy. The delivery driver had to wait instore for half an hour for the food. Food quality was ok though.

Ridiculously slow delivery. The flaming wrap wasn’t even wrapped! Food poor too. Never again.

Driver just left my order in downstairs communal area without any communication. By the time I realised what was going on my dinner was cold.

Popped in for a bit of lunch. Very polite staff, good service, clean diner, food as you'd expect for KFC

As soon as you order it shows as ready for collection. Which it clearly isn't. Looked to prioritise the just eats team before in store customers. Only one of the 2 machines to order where working, and the staff looked run off their feet, clearly lacking the right numbers for the store.

Love a Lunchtime KFC just a shame the Coffee Machine ☕️ was out of order..

Absolutely shocking service this evening. Ordered a box meal, came home with no side as they ran out of gravy (didn't even offer an alternative just didn't provide one) and no hot wings! I don't expect much from KFC and can be busy, but some care in the service provided would be appreciated...

Bottle of drink missing for the 100th time, there I'd always something missing from my order with kfc so annoying plus wheres the napkins, salt and wipes?

It's a KFC so the food is pritty much the same. Service is ok.

the food was absolutely disgusting the chips were partially cooked the chicken batter was all all greasy and plappy for the price it's disgusting, this was the first and last time I order it tastes like Simpsons chicken poor

The worst ever!!!! I been waiting for a delivery over one hour after my delivery is been cancelled. I have spent 30£ to fed my kids. No money left on my account and no food to be delivered! The manager told me I have to wait three days to get my money back ! My kids didn't eat that day !!!!!!!!

Twice now we have ordered 2 of the 2 zinger burgers & fries offer & both times we have only received one. Do you not check the orders. Not a good service. Won't be ordering from KFC again. Service is no better when you collect either.

Meals were missing chips and drinks. Kids meal was incorrect to order. Food overcooked, chicken so dry that it almost broke teeth. Delivery person was lovely though.

Food was manhandled looked like one bit of chicken had teeth marks on it one was a small portion yet I ordered 3 of the same the chips were cold the only good thing was the canned drinks not happy

As a regular customer, today I had a bitter experience at highland park. Had a bad quality also the stuff behaviour was very unsatisfactory.

Normally the food is great but unfortunately tonight for some reason our delivery was cold. I hope that this was a one off.

The staff are very kind and friendly and helpful but they should of had chips through as they ran out of chips which was not very good I think anyway.

I ordered the boneless meal and every piece of chicken was still on the bone. The chips and popcorn chicken were cold.

The food was late, almost all of the order was missing. The chicken that was delivered hardly had any coating on it. The chips were warm with no seasoning on them.

Delivery driver has driven over and turned there car around on fount lawn!!!

Service dreadful, We were the only people in the shop when we ordered and waited over 25 minutes, as other people ordered and then got serviced first and also pick up drivers . Disorganised too say the least .NOT the first time disappointed with this outlet
