On Friday evening 11 April we had planned to attend the Beerex across the road which opened at 6pm. Traditionally we seem to meet up here between 4:30 - 5pm before hand and relax with a few drinks before heading off. The outside area has numerous tables and chairs and is great to relax in the late sun and enjoy. The pub itself is very old and traditional and has loads of character. The bar staff are amazing and very efficient. When the Beerex finished at 11pm we ended back over here again to have one more for the road and again the service etc was excellent.

Decaff oat latte was terrible. Used 'Alpro' oat milk - the lowest quality.

Was looking forward to listening to the carols waiting at the bar when was abruptly told we had to leave because we hadn’t booked a table - plenty of space, wouldn’t have minded if we hadn’t been spoken to in such a rude manner.

Simple food at a local pub. Went for Monday lunch - my uncle had fish and chips and I had a steak sandwich. Lovely staff - and location. While the steak sandwich tasted alright I wouldn’t call it a steak sandwich but rather a burnt end bits from a Sunday beef roast. I think they even labelled it fillet steak which was obviously not true. No matter how much other sauce you put on in the sandwich you can still tell it was kinda dry old bits of beef. Change the name to a beef sandwich…

Had a roast dinner with family who came over from America. Over priced roast dinner, plenty of meat but not alot else. The Yorkshire pudding was absolutely shocking, rock hard, inedible. Said this to a member of staff but nothing was done. Wouldn't rush back.

5 out of 5! First visit, lively and friendly. Fantastic, tasty, hot fresh food. Starters, calamari, and chicken wings were delicious. Mains, kofte kebab, and pork kebab are also excellent. Buffalo fries were stunning. The two veggies with us had superfood salad and a sweet potato dish, which I was assured were really good!!! Good choice of beer and wine and delightful staff!! Cost us about £72 per couple, including drinks and gratuity, which I considered very acceptable for the evening we had! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We will definitely be going back! 👍🏽

We stayed for a wedding. Location was great for the wedding unfortunately that is where anything positive ends. The first morning of our stay we were asked if staff could access our room as the room below us had reported a leak. We said 'of course'. Staff then came to tell us all was fine. We then checked out on the Sunday and have received a £50 charge for a leak! I rang to speak to the hotel directly, 3 times in the following week of our return and nearly a month later am still waiting for a response. If we had in anyway caused any damage we would happily pay but to be told there was no issue and then be charged is terrible. We wouldn't recommend and we wouldn't return as it's left more than a sour taste in our mouths. Terrible customer service really.

I went here with my farther I purchased a Really nice custard donut very filling and big and tasted very nice and fresh , staff were lovey would definitely come here again

Lovely food and great service . I went with my daughter and we ate in the restaurant as part of a spa day. Spa day was superb would highly recommend

Went in for lunch - focaccia with mozzarella, pesto and tomato - and cappuccino - very tasty! And the staff were so lovely - happy, cheerful, clearly they all get on as I could hear little bursts of singing and laughter whilst I sat upstairs eating. It was a pleasure eating there. Thank you

Really not worth it. The service was pretty poor and disinterested. Main issue was the DJ playing music incredibly loud. This isn’t just being old but honestly it was deafening - more like a club than pre dinner drinks in a small space. And rubbish. The drinks were fine - glad they were on two for one during happy hour. Decor ok but doesn’t make it up for it. Won’t be returning.
