Foxes of Farnham in Waverley

Really not worth it. The service was pretty poor and disinterested. Main issue was the DJ playing music incredibly loud. This isn’t just being old but honestly it was deafening - more like a club than pre dinner drinks in a small space. And rubbish. The drinks were fine - glad they were on two for one during happy hour. Decor ok but doesn’t make it up for it. Won’t be returning.

We visited this cocktail bar tonight with a group of friends and it was an absolute disaster. We tried to order at the bar when we got there and were told it was table service only. It then took half an hour for someone to come and take our order. We waited a further 20 minutes and no drinks had arrived. When we asked at the bar they said their till had told them they had already been served so they hadn’t even started making them. At this point we cancelled our order and left. The staff were completely disinterested and unapologetic. When we left they were all sitting on their phones. The live music was far too overpowering for a space that size. I have no idea if the cocktails were any good as we never got any. We were a group of 10 people so they have missed out on a sizeable amount of money and I think it unlikely any of us will return. Avoid.

Myself and some friends decided to pop into Farnham for a few drinks. I had been recommended to try Foxes before we moved onto our usual places. I am so glad we did. The cocktails are amazing! Not too badly priced either considering the location. The bar itself has a really nice atmosphere. This isn't just down to the lovely decor but more down to our amazing hostess Maddison. She went above and beyond by trying to make our visit something special. Nothing was too difficult for her and she certainly knew how to make people feel at ease. This will now become one of my regular venues and I'll definitely recommend Foxes to all my friends and colleague. Thank you Foxes (and especially Maddison) for providing us with a wonderful evening.

Amazing place to go with either friends or a partner, staff are so nice and welcoming. Drinks were great and a cool speak easy vibe throughout the whole place, if you’re local to the area or even a little drive away I’d definitely visit!

The best bar in Farnham .. by a clear mile ! The cocktails are the best I’ve tasted and I’ve been to plenty of bars around the world .. Will definitely be back!

Came in here and didn’t ever want to leave. Went out in Farnham for the night and found this little number, tasty interior, wonderful service and great cocktails. It’s safe to say I WILL be returning and would love to bring the work crew.

took my mum here recently as she was up visiting from devon, staff were very welcoming, and the cocktails were actually the best we have ever had. my mum even made a comment saying it was a shame there wasn’t a foxes down in devon! will defiently be returning!

Went here with myself and 2 friends. I gave 5 stars on food which we didn't have but saw the charcuterie boards from other guests and the presentation was beautiful! The bar staff were extremely helpful as I wasn't sure which cocktail to have they talked me through a number of options and eventually they made me my favourite, off the menu pina colada! The decor is amazing, very quirky so many things to look at and it's a cosy atmosphere, the chandeliers are absolutely stunning. This is a real hidden gem and so glad we popped in.

I visited this amazing cocktail bar on the weekend for a themed bottomless brunch. There was a DJ and the atmosphere was just so fun! Everyone was having a great time. This place is beautifully decorated and had a great vibe! The cocktails were amazing and we had the best night out. We’ve booked again for the next event. Staff were all friendly and welcoming too. This place is a little hidden gem!

We had been out for a meal to celebrate my husband’s retirement and decide to pop in here for a nice cocktail or two before heading home. It was very cold outside and dark in the venue. I walked in and my glasses steamed up. I could just about see my son and husband in the bar so walked in to be confronted by a lady saying in a loud voice “excuse me where are you going? “And then a very abruptly “do you have a table”. I said I was following my son and husband and pointed them out. She then said “do they have a table?” I said I had no idea, I was told to wait there and she pointed to some bar stools. There was no welcome here, no good evening, no explanation about having to book a table. I thought about it for a moment and as we hadn’t been made feel at all welcome, decided to move to somewhere more pleasant. I did say to the lady don’t worry about finding us a table she said she had found one. Sorry but she was too late, I hadn’t been made to feel at all welcome in this bar and we went elsewhere for our cocktails. I would never go back here. They really do need to address their front of house welcome, it was totally unprofessional.

So sorry but......Entered early on Friday for a cheeky drinkypoo. Been in cocktail bars all over the world but don't want to sound like a big time Charlie! Bar Staff were brand new and didn't know where anything was! Waited 10 mins for a terrible cocktail...Paid £24 for a Negroni and Old Fashioned to be told by the bar staff they were awful and the bar manager will sort out some decent cocktails when she got back! Deal was also buy 2 get 3.. didn't get 3! Paid and left never to return AWFUL experience and won't do it again...
