We had the tasting menu this evening and it was fantastic. All dishes were spot on, wide ranging, catering for all. My son thoroughly enjoyed the playground outside while the adults were able to soak up the ambiance. Great for families, couples, and popping in for just a drink. Highly recommend 👌

Food was ok,sunday roasts.however service was not great .all young kids. Who imo didn't seem to know what they were doing.2 attempts at bringing correct order. We were asked to leave our table as they were busy and we wanted coffee so told you can sit in garden.good job it was reasonable weather. 40 mins later no coffee so went to bar and asked " just being made" Expressed it wasn't acceptable to wait for 40 mins for 4 coffee's. Waitress then came out and retook order. Lost apparently ! Another 15 mins coffee's finally arrived! Much as we like to support local businesses £160 later won't rush bk. No apology.!

We were here to celebrate my partner’s 60th birthday and from start to finish our evening meal, overnight stay and breakfast was fantastic. The service is impeccable and I truly felt that nothing was too much trouble. We had one of the private dining rooms and were able to decorate the room before our meal and we even had our birthday playlist played through the pubs speaker into our room. Delicious food with attention to detail. Very impressed. Thank you to everyone who made the party a huge success!

if you want a kebab. Just go Mr Pizza - it's much better.

Booked to come in for a bite to eat on Easter Sunday to be greeted by the Easter bunny! My son was invited to do the egg hunt with everyone and he really enjoyed it. Thank you to who ever played the bunny because you made my sons day. As always the food was lovely and the service was great!

Roast dinner was not very hot . Roast potatoes were a bit tough as if they had been Microwaved . So felt if was not freshly made .

I stayed here for a business trip and was blown away by the experience. The four-poster bed and roll-top bath in my room were absolute highlights, making my stay super comfortable. The facilities are top-notch, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious—everything looked great and tasted even better! Plus, it’s just a short walk to the town centre. I can’t recommend this place enough!

We had dinner there last Satuday evening for my sisters 50th Birthday. Was so much fun, really great, local pub, fantastic atmosphere, that we could walk to. I had the burger which frankly was incredible - enormous and utterly delicious, thank you. Will definitely be back again soon.

I like the place but quite disappointed because most items on the menu were not available.

Faced with the challenge of finding a conveniently-located venue for a birthday lunch for nine people on a busy Saturday, the landlord and his young team did a fantastic job making us welcome, and providing us with dedicated use of the pub's 'snug' room. The food, drink and service were excellent, and the team cheerfully continued to carry on meeting our needs right through until tea time. Thank you for helping to make our family get-together extra special - and for your patience.

Excellent atmosphere 👌. Great place to visit with family or partner. Great staff with excellent food knowledge and service. Definitely will visit again.
