We had a stop in Abingdon on our way to Oxford. A leg stretch and looking for a place to have just a light lunch and a drink. We stumbled upon the museum and in the course of checking out the Crossley Pumping Engine in the basement decided to have luch there. The cafe is only open till 2pm but with half an our to spare we managed to get an order in for 2 toastie cheese and ham sandwiches. Hardly a particularly exciting lunch you may think, but there are toasties and there are toasties. Ours were excellent and just hit the spot after a pleasant visit to the museum above. Sometimes you just stumble on these places and have to pass them on to thers. If you are a veggie get there earlier than 1.30 as apprently the veggie versions take a bit longer to prepare.

Our first visit. As we walked-in I was a little taken aback as it had a confused feel of trying to be a restaurant whilst seemingly cafe like. The waiter asked us to sit by the counter but we preferred the window seat. Odd. Most restaurants want you to sit by the window to show that they are full. I found ordering from the menu by numbers inconsistent with the Thai experience. We accepted it. The service was attentive and humble and the food very tasty. I was a little sceptical that the quarter of duck was a quarter but I let it go. Overall, a good experience with some small things that are easily improved.

Not one to share " pub reviews" but this is a honest boozer. Went for a pint and a quick gamble on the machines. Was a mistake made on cash exchange when I bought a drink and the lady serving fixed straight away. Their gambling machines broke down after a few minutes and would not pay out monies owed. The bar staff again without a hesitation turned off the machine and in trust paid off the remaining balance. For a " pub" in Abingdon I would say 100% customer service, hope they keep doing well!

Best experience in Europe so far! We wandered in after seeing the sign describing the Tapas Lunch Special. Amina greeted us with such wonderful enthusiasm that set the mood for our entire experience. The Tapas were fabulous, we tried the Mushroom Croquettes and fell in love. We also ordered the Marinated Lamb dish that came with potatoes cooked with onions and chorizo... It was delightful. Amina was so happy we enjoyed the meal and suggested a dessert which was an almond cake with ice cream. We enjoyed it with an espresso to complete our wonderful experience. We highly recommend 'Que Pasa' so you too can experience 'what's up' in Abington UK. Thank you Amina for the wonderful time in your townđ

Great coffee and food from full English to cakes even avocado on toast. My son was impressed with the quality and prices. It is quite often packed and quite noisy and many laptops/phones, one customer 4 seats. No easy solution. Itâs still my go to cafe. Staff are efficient.
