This was without doubts the worst, not only Thai restaurant, but any restaurant I've ever eaten in my entire life. In fact this establishment should be ashamed to call themselves a thai restaurant, or just a restaurant. The sweet and sour chicken was a wonder to behold. I have never eaten chicken, so dry covered in what only I can explain was a medley of fruit and vegetables that they must have found at the bottom of their fridge. Litchi x2 pineapple x2, red and green pepper, but the one that threw me was whole white grapes x2 thrown in there. It was like eating a fruit cocktail with bits of overcooked chicken in some kind of sauce, that I don't know how at this time know to describe. The green curry was over salted and what ever went wrong in the process of cooking, the sauce split and separated. Any normal restaurant would have started the dish again. But oh not this place. Let's serve it anyway to the customer. The king prawn padthai was unedible but worse of all not only 3 tough overcooked prawns within this diabolical mess, but they had thrown in tofu to possibly give the impression that there's more prawns in the dish than there is. They were saturated in fat and were unedible. Unfortunately, this was not the end of our culinary nightmare. We had two portions of calamari. Again overcooked so much so that we couldn't actually chew them to eat them. They would have worked better as hairbands. I must just add, this was a take away, because if I had actually eaten in the establishment, I would have walked out half way through without paying. And the price for this inedible food? £56. To be honest I was going to ask for a full refund and not right this review. But I honestly feel that the people of Tonbridge and the surrounding areas should be given some kind of warning regarding visiting this so called restaurant or certainly getting a take away from there. The only saving grace is, that the bag the food came in was strong enough to put all the inedible food back in, so as to throw into the dustbin.

I went here for a Folk Night š and unfortunately, I did not get to eat in this very atmospheric pub. It has a feel of its historic past as you walk in, and this is added to by being in the grounds, almost, of Tonbridge Castle. A good selection at the bar and outside area if required.

Good little pub with friendly people and a good size garden, pool table area and fireplace.

We were regulars at the Alishan and so thought weād give this a go now itās had a name change and, I think, new management. Sadly it did not live up to expectations. We were early in (6:30pm) but did not get our meal for over an hour (7:45pm). The food was ok, nothing great and definitely not as good as before. Upon leaving, the place was almost full but lots of tables waiting for food.

This place has gone downhill rapidly, we (was) regulars to this pub, not anymore as itās over run by dogs! And dog owners who let their dogs lick tables that are supposed to have food served them. The interior is terrible and tables are now all stick and furniture is older than my Nan ! This should be known as the ādog cafe. It isnāt clean & is in need of a good re-vamp. Shocking is putting it politely!

Went with husband (who has heart failure) and toddler grandchild. People with laptops and paperwork hogging tables with no evidence of coffee or food. Managed to get a table, but staff were unfriendly then was advised of a 'no decaff' policy! Never heard this in any other branch. Husband is not allowed caffeine due to heart, and we have certainly had decaff in this branch previously. Horrible experience so we went a few doors down to Finch House who were lovely and inclusive.

Called in for another of our regular visits and found the usual very nice coffees served by the friendly cheerful staff. Only surprise was that another price rise had been slapped on, another 15p! Well on the way to being the first £4 cup of coffee in the town. Come on Finch House, the place is obviously a goldmine so why the need to fleece regular clientele with these frequent price rises.

I've been in and ate 3 or 4 times now and it's the only Costa I go to were the staff don't seem very happy or friendly. They don't go that extra mile which is disappointing. They never seem to have the full range and they gave me a dirty spoon last time I went in which was Monday 25th of November. Drinks and food very nice, service not so great.

Big Nero coffee shop. They have a very unusual decoration. Mostly in matching things, the service was nice. The coffee was as expected. They have some hot sandwiches, cakes and chocolates to pick The toilets could be better. Possible some music will make it more pleasant You can pay with card or cash. They have a take away option.
