Tez Indian Takeaway in Tonbridge and Malling

App said had been delivered after an hour of ordering, called to check where it was told he should be there, left it 10 mins still no delivery, called again told be soon and was unable to call the driver to check where he was. Dinner arrived after an hour an 55 mins, me & my partner both had lamb as our option of meat the lamb was tough & chewy and tasted very perfumey. The sauce was thick and tasty and Bombay potatoe was tasty, and full of spices.

For me this is one of the best indian takeaway in town. Even when we had an order issue with a missing item they delivered it ASAP and were very apologetic about it. The food is always full of flavour and very well cooked. They will also spice to your taste if it isn't hot enough for you.

Sorry no photos...ate it all! Yum yum! We ordered delivery - food arrived within the 45min expected (via food app) and very hot! Delivery guy was lovely friendly. I really loved my lamb karahi! You could taste the tikka and the sauce was Soo tasty! 🤤 ... partner had Madras - he was impressed too, the aloo gobi was very decent, naan... rices.. yum!! I also appreciated the lightly minted chopped onion side with popaddom. Can't wait to order again for a treat! Amounts per dish were good and as averagely expected. Overall, one of the best we've ever had! (It compares strongly with a restaurant elsewhere, that we've been going to for 20yrs and hold everything against that!) . The quality is just as good as a sit-in restaurant experience for us tonight. You will see us again!

The only thing better than the customer service from Tez, is the food from Tez. We order regularly from here and the food is always incredible. Id go as far as to say its the best curry house I've ever eaten from. Thank you to the lady who dropped off our food tonight - you're a legend!

Good food and good value for money, fair prices

Onion Bhaji was crispy/dry so not swimming in grease. Could have been slightly improved by being moister on the inside. Chilli rice was perfectly balanced. Food delivered on time and hot and very courteous delivery driver. Would order from here again. Thank you for a nice delivery.

We collected and had the mixed meal for 4 but for 2 people lol. We were able to substitute some bits for another dish of the same value so there is flexibility there. The tandoori chicken is amazing as was the bhuna. Only things we didn't like was the king prawn puree and the passanda ( too coconutty for me ) otherwise this was excellent value feeding 4 people for £11.50 each and plenty to go round. Will order again.

Ahh I’m so disappointed always use tez but the food tonight was just not great burnt pakoras the sag aloo was just two bits of potato and was very bland the Currys were ok and small portions of rice… sorry guys but not up to scratch

The food we ordered was disgusting, after having many Indian dishes over the years this was inedible. The keema naan was like cardboard an other dishes was flavourless chips soggy an not very appealing. When I called to inform of my disappointment i was spoken to very rudely, no customer service skills an quiet insulting would never order from here again, first an last time.

This wasn’t good food. Poor value and poor taste. Although the chicken pakora said breadcrumbed, I thought that it was a mistype order mistranslation. It’s not. It’s genuinely paxo style breadcrumbs and not an authentic batter. The price for four tiny chunks of cheaply made and ultimately not good tasting food, is unacceptable. I do appreciate you’re honest about the breadcrumbs so I tried and honestly it’s not good compared to the real thing. Think about changing the recipe. The Bombay aloo was mostly mixed vegetables. I assume from a packet. The green beans and sweetcorn really threw me. It only had three slices of actual potato in it which is ridiculous when it’s a cheap veg and the main component of the dish. It didn’t taste much of anything and ultimately isn’t the dish I ordered. It was almost indistinguishable from the vegetable badami. Which was essentially the same mixed veg and a tasteless sauce. It got put straight in the bin. The chicken tikka masala was over salted and over dyed. It wasn’t a smooth sauce and wasn’t to my taste. Appreciate this might be a style that others like. You have lots of good reviews so I don’t know what went wrong here. We aren’t in a restaurant environment so you have to understand I’m not sending food back and forth. I really don’t think sending what I got out in the first place is acceptable.

Spot on delivery and excellent food

A little disappointed the food wasn’t very hot, although tasty..when reheated the keema paratha was very greasy didn’t enjoy at all, shame as normally food is excellent.

Would get full stars but they forgot one of our naan breads!

Delivered within an hour and still warm. Overall, good meal. Butter chicken sauce nice, but meat quite salty. Peshwari naan crumbled, was not robust enough. Small portions for tandoori mixed grill given price.

The food is consistently delicious from Tez - this tiime I tried a Mushroom Shahi and it was so good! The food from Tez is always fresh and high quality - it's no wonder they have such a high rating, very well deserved! This time my order was delivered slightly late and as the driver was apologetic about it it was completely acceptable.

Having read some of the reviews on here, I went on to Just Eat to see that Tez has great ratings on there, so we decided to order from here. I liked the fact Tez offered a wide vegetarian menu and didn't charge really high prices for king prawn dishes (which many Indian takeaways do.) I am so glad we tried Tez, the food was Great, and so was the service. We will definitely purchase a takeaway from Tez again.

I originally started off with another restaurant however they didn’t have load of veggie options. I ended up seeing Tez’s menu and had to try it. Both myself and father LoVeD the food! He had the Lamb and i had the Korma (V) and it was lovely. He said the Lamb can be tricky with takeaways they don’t usually do it right however it was perfect and tender. My meal was delicious :) To top it off we had the best delivery service ever! And tonight he informed me he was the boss and we had a lovely chat! Kind, talkative and just all round lovely customer service. Best Indian going! Highly recommend ❤️

Delivery was quick and ahead of schedule and the food was delicious. Only issue was there was no plain naan but happy to take a free one with the next meal 👍

Unfortunately the meal wasn’t the best, I feel it was highly over seasoned and tasted mainly of salt, for most of the dishes, so was extremely unsatisfied for my evening meal.

I have eaten food all over India from North to South, so as it was the first time ordering as we have just moved into the area I ordered myself a King Prawn Bhuna, Pilau Rice and a Naan and for my girls who are fussy CTM and Chips. They loved there’s and mine was absolutely spot on and if in a restaurant I may have asked for some lime for the prawns other than that they were perfection! Rice was light, tasty and the Naan was well cooked and fresh.

A nice curry however the Bombay potato and the onion bhaji portions were on the small size.

The food was late, but the driver apologised, and it was NYE so it didn't bother us at all. The food was hot and tasty.

Avoid this place! Ordered at 7pm this evening. Now 9:30pm. No delivery. No contact from them to explain why. Can't get hold of them, no answer on the phone. Robbery. Checked website and they state they close every day at 9pm. Strange. Going to have to try get my money back tomorrow. Evening ruined.

Ordered 3 hours ago, no sign of food and no answer on the phone. This is a total insult and in such times when loads of pubs are shut and loosing business these places should be shut instead and not allowed to operate.

Naan breads were cold and my prawn karahi seemed more like a jalfrezi...more tomato based than onion. I have ordered from Tez before and have always liked the food, but this was a disappointment.
