The best restaurants serving British food in Medway Tonbridge and Malling South East

Edit: a very polite apology email was sent in response to this, so I'm increasing this review to 3 stars now. ------ Original: Appalling service. Having been seated, without a menu, we waited more than 10 minutes before giving up and going elsewhere. We weren't even asked if we wanted drinks. Bizarre, as there seemed to be no one eating there at the time.

This place has gone downhill rapidly, we (was) regulars to this pub, not anymore as it’s over run by dogs! And dog owners who let their dogs lick tables that are supposed to have food served them. The interior is terrible and tables are now all stick and furniture is older than my Nan ! This should be known as the ‘dog cafe. It isn’t clean & is in need of a good re-vamp. Shocking is putting it politely!

Only one beer, poor service and stopped serving before 10 pm, unfortunately I made the same mistake twice. Don’t be me!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Dairy free options are available for coffees. However, it is a struggle to get a dairy free/ gluten free item to eat. I ended up getting a cereal bar, when everyone else gets cake.
