Always have the same when I go up there which is a bacon and sausage baguette which is always enjoyed by myself and mum always has a jacket potato and always very filling plus everyone is very friendly xx

Wonderful food & great value for money. We don’t live locally - we are about a 40 minute drive away but love the area and often come for dog walks. We know the cafe closes for winter - we were lucky to have lunch the last day they were closing for winter & struck gold today when they were open for the first time in 2025 We both had cheese & ham toasties which were packed with tasty Wiltshire cheese & thick cut ham - no supermarket thin ham here! Both toasties with a side salad plus a delicious serving of chips (large is v large - we couldn’t finish!) plus 2 cans of drink = £16! Best value & top quality! Thanks guys!

Nice pub, Warm welcoming from young bar lady with glasses. Definitely improved over the last year. Better staff, better atmosphere! New darts board setup.

Mum's favourite picnic spot, we love coming here even though we live 20 miles away. The staff are warm and friendly and the food is very good. Sadly, I have been told this place has now closed permanently.

Wongs is my favourite Chinese.Always greeted with a smile whether i am going in or just walking past.Food has always been fantastic and yummy,i can't fault it for taste,and service is quick.

Service was the slowest I’ve ever seen and I’ve worked in this sort of environment f myself, highly disorganised and soo slow ! Nothing will be done after reading this, you’ll thank me for the review but nothing will change !

Attended a Karen themed night at the San clu hotel. It was hilarious haven’t laughed like that in a while. Had a three course meal, very generous portion sizes and the food was lovely and hot.. good value for money. The staff played their characters well and at the end of the night were very friendly. Would definitely recommend it

3 stars - food was really good but service was appalling. How is it possible to get an order so wrong when it’s there straight in front of you and all you have to do is follow it. Waste of money. Order with caution
