Spice Garden tandoori restaurant in Thanet

Amazing food as always, great vegetarian options! Great sized portions also.

Ordered takeaway last Saturday. Unfortunately I had a black hair baked into my chipati. I contacted the restaurant but heard nothing back. The food wasn't as tasty as when we ate in the restaurant last time. Won't hurry back.

We ordered a takeaway from spice garden for the first time this week and i can honestly say it's the best takeaway I've had so far very friendly staff and always happy to help, arrives super fast great service all round thankyou will definitely be ordering again

Genuinely the worst Indian takeaway we've ever had. I've never left a negative review before, but the food was just awful. Both curries tastes like left overs just given us, instead of being cooked to order. The Chicken Tikka Dhansak was definitely not a Dhansak and was absurdly spicy, tastes like they've mixed together a leftover Vindanloo and Madras. The Chicken Tikka Masala was also very spicy, which is not what it's supposed be. The Naan bread was just charcoal. The only thing edible was the poppadoms.

First time I used this restaurant. Ordered quite late and collected after having a few in the honeysuckle Inn. Got home to enjoy my meal and unfortunately it tasted like all the leftover curry's got put in my dish. It wasn't a dansak for starters but wow was it hot... I love chilli's but this was so hot it made me gag. I appreciate it was late but for a first time visit, won't be going back.

Awful. Wanted to place an order and asked if the quorn used contained egg the person on the phone told me to check his website and then hung up?!

Best Indian in Thanet. We have travelled a lot of south India in the past and have struggled to find an Indian locally that meets our taste and this was beyond our expectation. The owners are also super lovely. We will be retuning again and again!

My partner and I always order food from here; it’s always perfect! The staff are amazing and considerate, always more than happy to help. Even though we have never eaten in their restaurant (as we live round the corner), whenever we go in there the atmosphere is warm and cosy. The food is always beautiful. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough!

No word of a lie: some of the tastiest Indian food I have ever eaten. The chef needs to be applauded.

I had trouble placing my order on the phone due to the persons not understanding English,and put the phone down on me,I had to phone them back,I ordered 3 meals which 2 were enjoyed,I asked for meal to be madras hot but was very mild n bland,A little bit disappointed as the 2 people that recommended it to me say it were the nicest they've had for a while,Il try it 1 more time n if it's the same then I Shan't bother again.

I have ordered a delivery from spice garden on a few occasions now. The food is delicious, well presented and great value. The staff that deliver the good are always quicker than they estimate and so polite and friendly. I will use them every time I order an indian meal. Couldn't fault the food at all, delicious.

Lovely food , certainly filled the spot and more. Some work needed on decor & fixings, but that didn't detract from the meal in the slightest.

DO NOT BOTHER ORDERING FROM THIS INDIAN. food ordered 2 hours later still no food just eat phoned to say that driver had tried to call but couldn't get through but stated he got through straight away phoned restaurant and they stated 2 mins away 25 mins later still no food phoned again and stated it's on route then another 20 minutes still no food and then restaurant just ignored calls. Rude staff and clearly lie about deliveries.

Inconsiderate of neighbours when blaring music on weekdays. Food is mediocre and I have boycotted since they can’t control the volume on their speakers in a residential area. There was a pub there for many years, which played music, with no issue. Disrespectful to local community.

I have used spice garden since opening as a take away never disappointed always arrives in good time always hot and fresh and very tasty in my opinion is one of the best in ramsgate eat in for the first time as a Christmas party meal out and the Quilty of food was just the same and every member of staff very welcoming and couldn't of done anything more then they did if your looking for somewhere to go for a group booking this is the place to go I can not recommend enough truly outstanding keep up the good 100% recommended

Ordered food Friday evening as our usual Indian wasn't delivering. What a disappointment.. where is the flavour? Everything was so bland and my daughters chicken in the korma was dry. £60 quid gone. I could of cooked it better myself. Won't ever be using this restaurant again.

Food arrived very poorly packaged, curry everywhere in the bag, not piping hot, very rude delivery driver. Ordered for 19:30 to 20:00 turned up before 19:00, too early. Will not use again.

Chicken curries were poorly executed, overcooked chicken and not a lot of flavour, very disappointing. I don't think they know how use salt to season food, nor know how to cook with Indian spices. In summary if you're after some warm rice and bland as hell Indian food I would recommend eating here. I for one, will be going elsewhere.

Just ordered garlic chilli chicken and garlic Tikka delight for a little date night and the food was outstanding! Best Indian we have had in a long time. Fresh and hot to the door, tastes amazing and so flavorsome. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Indian food? I don’t think so, I was massively disappointed! The food was lacking flavour, sugar and food colouring overdone in the mild dishes, breads burnt on one side so badly they were inedible. Was it the chefs night off?? Definitely will never use again!

Awful food. We ordered a takeaway this evening - it was tasteless, swimming in oil and the tandoori dishes were coloured with a disturbing level of food colouring. Every dish was awful. It tasted nothing like any Indian food I have had before. The person who cooked this basically doesn't like spice at all, and doesn't use salt either. By far the worst Indian food I have ever had - and the worst takeaway. Unfortunately it had to go in the bin - 3 of us agreed we could not eat it. What a terrible expensive waste. Avoid!

1st time odering from here and i have to say im very disappointed i ordered a chicken curry and it was very bland and watery, no flavour at all, my partner had the chicken Dhansak as they had no prawns, but did have some flavour.

Didn't realise they don't serve alcohol but Tesco express across the road, not a problem. The service and food was excellent in quality and taste. The best Tarka Daal was the best yet. Don't be deceived by looks (exterior).

Just had a lovely meal in the restaurant after 4 or 5 really nice takeaway meals. The staff are lovely and eating in is a great evening. If you have the choice to go and have a meal in, you can also take your own alcohol, for which they charge no corkage. We will be back.

Had tried the vindaloo and phall as is what i would usually order from anywhere else, I came across the hariali on their menu whilst browsing after trying the other two, all three were fantastic, but I've found a new favourite with this place! Very tasty! All sides also spot on, friendly customer service and looked very clean also. Would recommend

Our first dining out experience since lockdown certainly wasn't disappointing ! We had a fantastic meal in your well presented restaurant. Every thing was perfect, The Ambiance, delicious dishes, perfect friendly and helpful service, amazing value, plus being able to bring your own alcohol!🍾 We will definitely be returning 100% recommend

Family run business lovely staff and the Tandoori Maxed Grill and Sag Paneer are a must try.

I never used to bother with Indian take away as it never compared to eating in at at tandoori but we have ordered from here twice in the last couple of weeks and I can't fault it. Promptly delivered, hot food with amazing flavour. Highly recommend 👌

Worth every penny! Amazing and friendly people. Amazing food and sauces! Chicken tikka was so succulent with a nice crunchy salad with sweet onions. King prawn mahini was so coconutty, it was delicious and with fresh naans 👍 will definitely be back.

This is a new Indian that opened only a couple of days ago so we decided to give it a go , we weren't disappointed, we pre ordered and collected , there is a 15% discount on collection which really makes a difference to the bill, it was very good value and not overcharged like alot of Indian places now days , the food was of very good quality and quantity, all was hot and fresh, they even gave us some free onion bhajis whch were delicious, the meat in the Currys was tender and there was plenty of it, the only one slight negitive was that the chips weren't great quality but everything else was perfect, would definitely recommend and we look forward to using this place again soon!
