The best restaurants serving Default food in South Bucks South East

We arrived just before 6pm on the Saturday and the booked table was free, but there was a lot of party noise. I ordered a gammon steak, which duly arrived swiftly, but I have never seen so many fries on a plate. I reckon KFC and Mcdonalds must have cleared their stock to supply them.

There on 22 January with a group of friends. Lovely, friendly staff. Welcoming. Nice pub with good atmosphere and log burner on a grey, cold day. I had the calves liver, mashed potatoes, peas and onion gravy. That has to be the best calves liver I have ever had. Compliments to the chef.

Friendly and welcoming. We waited about 15 minutes to get the food after we ordered and the bacon Avacado bap was amazing.

A very cost-effective meal. Food is great and large portions. Team serving were attentive, and the pub is well frequented, so it is always a different atmosphere . Great deals on the meals.

Bland cheap quality frozen food

Our waitress Inma was really fantastic, immediately swapping my steak (which I was disappointed with) for fish and chips with minimal fuss. She was warm, polite and made our evening really enjoyable!

Reading the reviews prior to our stay we were feeling slightly nervous about our stay. I honestly can’t see where the bad reviews come from, we had a one night Boujee room stay with dinner and champagne included. Check in staff were attentive and polite, a slight mishap with our dinner reservations were no problem and booked in slightly later than intended but no bother. The Thai restaurant was out of this world!!! Our room was excellent and of a high standard. Would definitely stay again without question, only slight negative drinks are expensive.

We visited with family- and toddler, pram and a need for a high chair. Staff were amazing and we felt welcomed and relaxed. Great food- fish and chips good quality, fish pie substantial, and lovely sausage and mash. My husband and I are frequent visitors walking through the beeches from Farnham Common to the pubs lovely garden but I can not state how lovely they made the experience for my niece- a new mum- and how welcoming the whole staff were. A fab place.

I'm new to this Chinese takeaway. I live 20mins away and I probably pass 15 Chinese restaurants on my way. But one day I took a punt and changed from my regular Chinese and went out my way. I kid you not best Chinese around. 💯 unreal. It's not a sit in and dine but as far as takeaway goes. This is my new number 1.

Condescending staff attitude, making false accusations, poor customer service, rude staff behaviour, I used to go to this pub 2-3 a week with work colleagues and family and explained this to the manager who showed no sign of customer service or appreciation of my custom so with regret I won’t be going again.

We occasionally pop in to the crocus cafe at Dorney court and previously the experience is positive. However , we went for lunch today and ordered the new salad dishes from the menu. This was a mistake. I had something called a chickadilly salad which is honestly the worst dish I have ever tasted in any restaurant. It was described as chicken and cauliflower on a bed of spinach and new potatoes with a picallili mayo. I counted 4 small pieces of chicken and a few florets of cauliflower. New potatoes were fine but the spinach was smothered in mayo. About half a jar of mayo! After few bites it makes you feel like you want to vomit. Mayo is a garnish , not a main but I couldn’t eat any of it the taste of mayo was overwhelming . Don’t order it. You’ll waste you money. Stick with the basics like jacket potato or sandwich. Couple that with the fact it took 35 minutes to arrive it was a terrible performance. What a shame. One of my favourite places to go for a coffee has been demoted to non league and I won’t be going back any time soon.

Appalling service food was no where close to what they are charging. Definitely not recommended your better off getting a local takeaway then waste your money here. No atmosphere within setting, Ponsbourne pods is soo much better if your looking for a pod experience. Please don't waste your money.

Absolutely disgusting,I’ve came here twice and the first time I walked in and almost tripped over some plastic forks. They also got my order completely wrong as I’m a vegetarian, I ordered cheese pizza but they gave me pepperoni… The second time was a bit better as I ordered chips and they tasted good but then I saw HAIRS on the chips NEEDS NEW OWNERS
