Brilliant breakfast always a warm welcome, highly recommended ,🐕 welcome, outside seating

Staff were inattentive, slovenly and ill-kempt. Service was slow and food in general of average quality. It was much better 2 years ago.

We loved this little cafe popped in for hot chocolate & coffee we sat by the window and watched the world go by. Staff lovely and efficient. Menu looked great even though we didn’t have food on this occasion. Would recommend.

Always great service and food at reasonable prices

We always come here for coffee and been meaning to try the tapas for so long and finally we did. Thank goodness we did. It was amazing. Best tapas we have ever tasted. Carl explained everything to us and even suggested what we should have. Perfect! Staff are so friendly. Lovely ambience. We will definitely be back for more tapas!

AVOID ... Expensive and unfriendly Poor quality sausage roll, very expensive and not as tasty as it was presented. Asked for refund, owner refused . He was very angry and rude.

Came in with family. Place was busy and staff pleasant but the place was dysfunctional. More staff needed perhaps. Coffee was bitter and tepid. Shame because the decor is nice and place is comfortable (were it not for the trays of dirty cups and plates).

Fantastic pub!!! Our first time in this pub,the food was amazing,great garden, spot on service and the beer was lovely. Well done to everyone involved. How a British pub should be. Loved it.

OMG I have found my new pudding The Dubai chocolate sundae was absolutely delicious made brilliantly by the staff So good I travelled 40 miles to go again the next day Staff and so friendly and welcoming Worth every single penny

I treated my daughter to lunch here. Sadly there was no view as it was raining. We shared Whitebait, then she enjoyed Crab with Salad and Chips and I had the starter portion of Moules with Bread. All were delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. We’ll happily return.

First visit today for lunch. Very impressed with the quality of the food and good value.

First visit. Really enjoyed the food but service was poor. Staff are lovely and friendly. However tables were not being managed properly. We waited a really long time to have starter plates cleared as staff just walked past us and they forgot one of the dishes we had ordered. Only one plate of mains tapas arrived but we had no cutlery. And they still hadn’t fully cleared the starter plates. The lamb chops arrived stone cold so we sent it back and then when it was brought back hot we didn’t get the rest of our food for 15 mins. So only had one plate of food to eat with nothing else. Service is automatically added also. Shame.

All I can say is the experience was average. Nothing wowed me, the coffee was mediocre and the service was not at all personal.

Very slow service. The ‘iced coffee’ was warm. The toilet was out of order (and it appears to have been for over a year) but my daughter was desperate and used it anyway. The lock on the toilet door was also broken! I don’t know how they manage a 5 Hygiene Rating or are allowed to serve food and drink without toilet facilities.
