Thursday 30th January 2025. Called in for lunch, this place is so welcoming, it’s like revisiting friends , this time with my daughter, both had a delicious lunch. I always browse the shop with many different items. Such a special place. Also great if on your own. I don’t have dietary needs but my daughter does. They are always willing to discuss ingredients. Thank you, highly recommended xx
Super little place... I say little, because it feels intimate, yet it goes back for a ways, so they can seat quite a few folks... the burger and snacks menu was perfect... beer selection fantastic (I had a brewed in house one that was delish!)...though they also serve other beverages... staff was super friendly and accommodating... love the style, cleanliness, the ambience and the food... 100% win in my book. Will definitely go back with no hesitation whatsoever...
Favourite eatery in W Sussex. Food was absolutely great as usual. Fine food in a relaxed atmosphere. I'm so glad they change the menu so often as we can regularly experience different meals. The extra little morsels certainly whet your appetite in anticipation... yummy!! Well be back soon.
Munchies did the outside catering for my dads funeral tea at Cuckfield church . The funeral tea was perfect (cheese scones were the best ever) . All the food very fresh & a delicious variety . Kate was so friendly & professional & easy to talk to - all ent off well for the wake thanks to them . Very impressed & 100% recommend them for outside catering .- they worked with & were recommended by Gallagers funeral directors

If you love your Ale come to the Engine room.
Apparently they have never sold the same ale twice in the years they have been open.
Micro brewery heaven.
Beautiful cafe with some lovely features &
welcoming staff. My iced coffee was delicious but my Eggs Benedict came with one piece of wafer ham! Now I’m a bit of an expert with Eggs Benedict and have literally had 100’s all over the place, usually it comes with some lovely thick good quality ham - never has it been served with one meager piece of cheap wafer thin ham - this was at the price of £9.50! 😳 However, my friend’s Eggs Florentine was very good.
I was introduced to this cafe by Ashfield Kitchens, another 'hidden gem' in Handcross. Great atmosphere, superb coffee and the cinnamon buns are out of this world, not to be missed or ignored. Finally the friendly, busy, staff are the secret behind the success of this wonderful cafe. Go out of your way to visit. Thank you. S
Cosy and vivid!
We wanted to say a HUGE thank you, to Jamie, Krysia, Nikky, Steph, Sarah, Gill and the whole team for making our wedding the best day ever!
From the moment we chose Pangdean we felt relaxed and nothing was too much trouble.
We had so much fun, and our guests are still raving about how great the food and staff were and how stunning the venue looked!
Nothing will ever top our wedding day - it was just incredible
Thank you, thank you, thank you - we want to do it all over again!

A good cup of tea solves a lot of problems and I got a lovely pot of tea here, served with hot milk on the side because it's winter at present. Also they had nice relaxing, soothing music playing which wasn't intrusive and loud like in so many cafes.
Really nice place, great scenery, loads of ciders to choose from. Pizzas were really nice, but we had to wait 1.5hrs, which is too long when you are hungry and drinking. Apart from that, I’d really recommend.
We had a family meal and the food is lovely. A busy evening ( Spring Bank Holiday)so we have to wait a little which is fully understandable. All plates were empty and our son( under 10) loves the momo chicken. Friendly staff, very good service and value for money. Our son is already asking us when are we going back!
Such a joy to find this little place. The food has that home-made nourishing feeling to it – really tasty and satisfying. The location, right by Devil's Dyke, is idyllic. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely to sit outside and soak up the sun in its laid-back atmosphere.
