Ardingly Café in Mid Sussex

Small cafe 7 tables. We had two ‘the little one’ breakfasts and 2 coffees. All very tasty.

Central location with car park opposite. Very busy and for good reason. Freshly cooked food to order and ingredients all good full flavour quality super tasty. Creative specials board was home made chocolate milk shake or special egg fried rice with lots of options to mix in today. Will go again well done to the duo running it.

Perfect cafe for a lovely little village cracking breakfast

Checked the menu outside and looked good. I was passing through for work and stopped for a sandwich. Ordered a cheese and pickle sandwich, which according to the menu came with crisps and was £5.50. When I got to my car and checked no crisps and I was charged £6.50. Overall quite disappointed for paying extra for a takeaway and getting less for that money. Seemed very overpriced for what I got.

Really lovely bijou family run cafe. Stopped there while cycling to Newhaven. Had a breakfast baquette which was delicious and very welcome. Staff member kindly stood outside and kept an eye on my bike while I spent a penny. Highly recommended

Chance upon this lovely friendly cafe in Ardingly after visiting the reservoir. Coffee was delicious as was the food. We had a full English Breakfast and Marmite Mushroom on Sourdough.The home baked cakes look delicious too but we were too full to sample them. Will definitely be back when in the area again.

Very friendly ladies who cooked the breakfast fresh for my wife, grandsons and myself. They even cut the food up for our young grandsons.

A fantastic little cafe. Busy when we visited on a weekday morning and deservedly so. We both had the full English and it was freshly cooked with every item of the highest quality. The sausages deserve a special mention as they were so good. Black pudding, perhaps as an extra, would have been nice but regardless, everything about it, service included, was brilliant. Tea served in a pot with china cups was an especially nice touch.

We visited for lunch with a group of 7 walkers. Having phoned to give them notice of arrival, we were delighted to find tables had been rearranged and set to accommodate us. That was a lovely welcome and when the food arrived we were knocked over by how appetizing and well presented it looked. It tasted even better! We could not have been made more welcome.

The best shop in Ardingly, great fresh cooked food great staff. Happy environment.

Group of six enjoyed lunch here today. Two had all day breakfasts, three had eggs benedict and one the French toast. All meals were freshly prepared, served hot and lovely and tasty. Service was great. Will definitely be going back. Highly recommended.

Food and coffee was quite good but the noise when it has a few people inside is quite loud.

Have been there twice now, & will be going again soon. Grub good, ambience comforting & friendly, staff so very helpful and nice. Definitely recommend this dear little cafe!

A hidden gem. I’ve never left a review before of a cafe but the coffee was so good and the cake (GF Apple and sultana) was incredible. Brilliant!

Delicious food! Went with my mum and both had the Eggs Royale which tasted so good. Dogs welcome inside too which was great so we didn’t have to leave her in the car.

I visit Ardingly Cafe regularly, often for a coffee with friends, but today I met a friend for lunch. The food was delicious, the service was great, the staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient, there was a lovely atmosphere and we had a great time. Highly recommended.

Excellent little place if you’re looking for breakfast. Food was fresh and cooked perfectly, coffee was also delicious and staff were very friendly. Also very reasonably priced! Highly recommend!

Amazing breakfast. Sooo good and pretty healthy. Lovely people. It gets busy in the morning but that is because it is so good.... my only complaint is I'd like it to be open on Sundays too!
