The best restaurants serving Default food in Maidstone South East

Played pool here last Monday, The chilly was on the hot 🔥 side 😮 I suffered the next day 🚻

Since the change of management, I decided to try this restaurant again, and I must admit that their food is delicious. They have made changes for the better. It is now my go to Chinese restaurant in Maidstone.

Took my elderly mother in law with other family plus dog for Friday lunch. We were extremely warmly received by Erol and had a lovely table near the roaring fire. First off, the local brew was one of the best. Had the home baked bread as a nibble with our drinks. It was made with charcoal and flour but light and airy with a fab flavour and served with homemade herb butter (Erol grows and dries his own oregano!) I had the fish and chips. Fresh Pollock (sustainable 👍) in a light crisp batter which was cooked to perfection and the chips perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. 11 out of 10! We also had the spicy chicken wings which were finger licking good. My mother in law had homemade celeriac soup which was utterly delicious. It’s not often that after I eat out I feel the urge to write a glowing review but The Harrow and our wonderful experience made me feel the need. Definitely going back for more.

Great food, great customer service when you arrive to get your food collected. I love that you can pay by card and the food is always so delicious. I came here one night because my local Chinese takeaway was shut and have been back so many times since and food is always so good!

Gave birthday drink to my daughter, food was excellent as was the service

Absolutely shocking customer service. Ordered £95 worth of kfc to get roughly half of it delivered , was told to take what we had back , which I did , the manager on duty was the rude and arrogant, after jumping through hoops to get my order corrected , when handed my new order . I asked , do I not even get an apology, to be told a flat out no . Absolutely shocking service, the manager needs to get a different job that’s not customer facing , or go on some customer service courses , The actual food was nice when I finally got the order corrected, but the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced

Nice place good staff good food

After couple of friends recommended, ordered Lamb Broyanit and Half tandoori chicken. Tandoori chicken was average with more color powder in it and tastes average. Lamb briyani was so bland, it has more pieces and flavour, no spice or no salt. Difficult to eat. Wasted my Friday evening dinner, and got spoiled the mood.

Order was fine got the drink wrong and the food was cold but still tasted amazing

ordered 3 large fish and got 2 medium. Fish over cooked battered well cooked fish dry and burnt, chips ok but paying £30 except fish to be white fluffy and soft. Used to be worth every penny but not this time. Is there new owners ?😡

We ordered the banquet box and it was perfect, at last a place that will do a mix of Chinese. The delivery was quick

Rude staff when called to politely ask how long delivery was going to be as it was late & was also rude to my 11 year old daughter when she answered the door.
