I had a late dinner and early breakfast. I had no complaints.

Stayed here as part of the hotel, we only had the breakfast which was fine. Staff in the bar were cool, and the seating outside on the sunshine was nice.

Small portions for the price. Inattentive waiting staff in the evening bitching about each other. General manager was polite and welcoming at breakfast which was ok, although there were a lot of flies on bread and pastries. Disgusting smell, smelt like backed up sewers. Wouldn't recommend

Served by Sharon who is lovely. Very friendly, engaging and made the whole experience nice. Made you feel at ease,warm and welcomed. Great person to have working for you.

Went on Bank holiday 5th may , arrived at 3.45 with no table booked. Just us 2 adults. Waited to be seen , no staff came to ask if we had a booking or anything . So after around 5 minutes went to bar and ordered a drink , barman said I'll be with you in a minute and very pleasant . I asked if we could order food and eat in the bar area , he said no problem . Ordered Fish and chips , mushy peas and Chicken schnitzel with rocket. Portions were not too large, a pensioner would have been fine . Fish batter was soggy , mushy peas DRY . SCHITZEL on the tough side took some sawing through, the rocket was limp and the egg was small ! Didn't complain as staff didn't come near the table, didn't acknowledge us , didn't ask how the food was , or even say goodbye. We went on the off chance whilst passing , so based on experience will not be going back . Basing this on the lack of service , in a not busy restaurant , and the quality and portions of the food Also noted drinks were sat for a long while at the bar before going to tables .

Absolutely shocking experience. No one in there and service was appalling, forgot to put our food through to order at the till so sat there for 20 mins waiting for 4 pitiful microwaved supposedly 'Korean style' chicken wings then another half hr for our mains. Mixed grill and a sirloin steak. Mains were average at best. The only bonus was discovering a 33% off email which was still not enough. Won't be returning in a hurry. Crap.

Came on Mother's Day, served by Carol and Ben. Staff were clearly bust but checked in with us regularly and food and drinks were all good.

Had a lovely meal for Mother’s Day. Our waitress Georgie was excellent and also the young waiter with her too. Both were polite, professional and nothing was too much trouble. A couple of items weren’t available on the menu but had replacements for them which were just as good.

Our waitress Sharon was fantastic and made our day, food was good too and nice quiet evening.

Cold chips, over cooked meats. Poor waitress rushed off her feet.

Everything was good except for the one thing I went there for which was the salmon dish which I found has been taken off the menu, so I had the battered fish which they told me was haddock, well it was the most chewyist bit of fish, battered with skin on that I have ever had. Limited small amount of peas like around 30 peas and some raw chunky dry chips. Please see the pictures I've added of Beefeaters updated menu.

Excellent Sunday lunch with friends - Carol served us & as always was friendly , helpful & went out of her way to oblige . Food was also delicious - I had No chicken roast & my friends had beef . Good atmosphere too - I always enjoy Sunday lunch there .

Wow. Whatever happened to Beefeater? We ate here last night and the food was next level bad. Everything except for one steak had come out the freezer. It looks like every thing is plonked in a fryer and then plonked on a plate. Without exaggeration the food in wetherspoons is better. I had fish and chips and the fish was definitely frozen but what species it was is unknown. It could have been 10 year old cobbler for all I know. It was like someone had cleared out an old freezer and spotted it at the bottom and thought that'll do. If Iceland had a restaurant they would probably do better food. I feel sorry for the staff having to serve that. Plus no ale at all either. Its local to us but I don't think I'll ever go there again. The two stars are for the staff definitely not the food.

No one on front desk. Eventually found a waitress only to be told no tables available even though less than half full.

We are here as a lunch time treat. We were looked after by Karen who was attentive, humourous and answered all our questions. The service was fast and our food was really good and cooked just how we wanted it cooked. We were really pleased with our experience here and will definitely be going back.

We have stayed a few times at the Premier Inn, the first time, staff at the hotel explained they would be serving until after 10pm. When we went to the Beefeater which was well before we were met by a very unhelpful member of staff who was uninterested and lacked customer service skills. We were made to feel unwelcome and spending money at the location was a problem. A further visit, the gammon steak was small and had a lot of fat and was of poor quality, more was left than eaten. The chips on both meals were cold and overall quality was poor. Seem to be operating on a shoe string budget as limited number of staff, but manager walking round with clipboard.....The porridge for two the following day was cold which was heated up/replaced when queried... Very disappointing.

Visited today for a breakfast. Food was fanatically cooked and received a warm welcome for the customers service team. Thank you very much, see you again soon!

What an amazing atmosphere. This place was buzzing! We had dinner as we were staying at the Premier Inn next door. The onion rings were super tasty and we had to share the fish and chips as it was a large portion. Carol was very helpful and made sure that everything ran smoothly. She had a smile on her face even though they were rushed off their feet. At breakfast we were looked after by Catherine and Jacqueline who were equally infectious with their laughter and smiles making sure that everything ran smoothly. Bella at reception worked tirelessly to get us an iron for our clothes Overall a great stay.

Just been waiting 6 mins to be seated no one came near just left us by the reception gave up and went elsewhere

Have been going here for years so was delighted to see Karen was our waitress today. Always efficient and friendly .. goes above and beyond (as she always has). Food was delicious and as it was the lunchtime menu, very reasonable pricing. Recommend

First visit in years, rather disappointed 😞 waited almost 10 minutes to be seated, staff very casual, steak initially undercooked, other guests had issues too, won't be rushing back

We were served by Ben on our visit. They were very busy, but it was a good atmosphere. Had a fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. Ben was very friendly, helpful and informative. Nothing was too much trouble. This greatly enhanced our experience and we would go back again. Outstanding, thank you so much 😊

Although we were slightly disappointed with aspects of our meal compared to previous visits, our server Ben was great, he was understanding and professional when we bought up what we were unhappy with. He was apologetic, let us know that he’d pass our comments on to the chefs and made sure we were happy with the rest of our meal. Over all we had a good time, and we’ll be back. Just a shame a couple things let us down with the food.

Very good breakfast. Coffee machines not working but no problem they made drinks individually to order. Good service good company nice time.

Being Christmas you would think that it would be good........ No when ordering food.... We have got any king prawns for surf and turf, no gammon for the mixed grill, no pigs in blankets well we have but only two..... No vodka mix for the cocktails..... No ice cream. Would I go again.... No. Best thing was this was booked this three months in advance.

We were really looking forward to our Christmas dinner here and felt very disappointed, because there was no Christmas atmosphere i.e music, crackers or sprit. It seemed under staffed, on arrival at 4.45 we finally ordered our drinks after waiting an hour then took another another 20mins to receive them. The quality and quantity of the kids meals were ridiculous and we never received our mince pies or festive drinks! Compared to other restaurants we've had Christmas dinner at, this was substandard and definitely not worth the £250 plus drinks that this cost. We won't be re booking next year!

Pre booked Christmas dinner for 230pm. At 330pm, we were still sat waiting for the starters to arrive, when they did eventually turn up, even though they were pre booked they were incorrect. Waiting an hour between courses, organisation was ridiculous. Orders incorrect even though pre ordered months in advance.

Hardly anything on the menu was available and when the food came out it was cold with some items missing.

Arrived 45 before our time slot. Took 30mins to get asked what drink we wanted. They didn't have half the menu which included the Christmas menu Took 45mins for be able to ask for the bill then took the waiter another 30mins to be given the bill so we could leave! Very slow service considering that they weren't busy, used to go on a regular basis a few years & haven't been since April 2023. I now know why & I won't be going to that branch of beefeater again!

Badly organised, food was cold, things missing from the order.

On the day we visited there were supply issues so limited supply of lots of breakfast items and it was so busy with Christmas rush. The staff were so lovely, somehow remained calm and cheerful even when people grumbled. The manager especially was so helpful.

My family of 13 sat down on Sunday night expecting the usual dry offerings from a mass produced festive meal, but we ALL agreed the starters, mains, deserts was fabulous, and the service,10/10. We will def go there again. Brilliant night, thank you.

Typical fast food pub grub, everything pre made and heated in a microwave, but does the job. The place seemed a bit grubby as was the toilets with two broken seats in the ladies so I was reliably informed. The place could do with a revamp, with a bit of TLC it could be a great pub.

Lovely people work here.. However they are making the best of the challenges they face... Issues with food deliveries and staff having to go shopping... Breakfast has gone down hill.. Apple juice and orange juice really watery... Coffee weak.. Make sure you hit expresso shot afterwards.... The hotel... Stayed two nights.. Had 6 cockroaches in the room... Staff brilliant and moved us but caused family arguments as wife wouldn't stay there..

Had a lovely vegan gluten free dinner. The staff were very accommodating.

The service was appalling but not the servers fault - not enough staff. The food was cold and the chips only half cooked. Paid for refill drink but never got a refill and paid for child’s meal but never got the pudding - no staff to order from. Can’t recommend anything

What a shambles of a place. Took my family for a meal we all placed our order the moron took it down and guess what 2 whole mixed grills never appeared and moron said we never ordered. We definitely ordered 2 meals .you could see she crossed them off after she noticed it she made a mistake this was supposed to be a family meal but was spoiled by the incompetence of the person waiting. Does not matter if they where busy or not. Missing 2 main meals is just not on.

Hadn't booked but on arrival took ages to find someone to greet us. The restaurant wasnt busy but staffing seemed quite low. Once seated we were looked after adequately though. We usually eat at Royal Oak Beefeater Wrotham which sadly will ultimately be closing but is always friendly and welcoming. Wanted to try another local Beefeater for when Whitbred sell up in Wrotham but actually think they're making a big mistake.

Very nice food and great service.

Sadly, it was not a great experience. Took over 10 mins to be greater and seated when it was dead quiet. Then, to be greeted as hello mate, I thought it was very unprofessional. The table was sticky. When placing my order, I had to change my option 3 times as they didn't have stock of what I wanted. The only nice part of the evening was the service from the friendly young lady.

Staff are amazing . Dan and Colin are amazing hosts and do anything to make you happy. Staff do look overworked but love their job and don’t let that get them. Becky is good behind the bar if not a bit too strict on rules lol

I go here quite a bit. The staff are always friendly and professional no matter how busy they are. Food is reliably good Always room to park. And with my meerkats meals I get 25% off the bill.

Visited last weekend for Sunday lunch for a special family occasion, waited nearly an hour for our meal, when it arrived it was luke warm, didn't complain as we'd waited so long, really wasn't a nice meal being served nearly cold, went to eat roast potatoes and these were so hard we could barely cut them hence they wasn't eaten along with the rest of the cold food that was left, one member of the party had sirloin steak, that was left as it was so grisly it was inedible, another piece of meat from mixed grill was too hard to eat aswell. Used to enjoy the beefeater but really feel it's gone downhill recently, out of the last 3 meals we've had there since September, only enjoyed one of them. Waitress was fab, can't fault the service she supplied.

Very nice atmosphere and excellent service but my beef was a bit fatty round the edge of the meat which I can't bear.

I was very disappointed that the battered haddock was overcooked. I asked for cheesy fries. Instead, I got the chunky ones. Although after telling a member of staff they quickly gave me the cheesy ones which I asked for in the first place. I wouldn't recommend this place as overrated and venue too expensive for what you pay for.

Ordered 3 x Sunday roasts & a pie meal, when ordered pie with mash was told that there was no mash only chips. When ordered roast dinners 1 was going to be an "ultimate Sunday roast" which consisted of ½ a roast chicken 1 slice lamb 1 slice beef, when ordered was told that we couldn't have it as the wasn't any ½ of chickens left, was then told that we could order a roast chicken & add on the extra meats as 2 separate sides (which cost a lot more to do it this way) . After ordering our meals we waited about 45 mins for our food, when mine came up the veg was cold the roast potatoes was soggy ( heated in microwave) 1 of the roasts never had part of the veg & the Yorkshire puds was soggy again like they had been microwaved. The meal with cold veg was taken out to the kitchen & just popped in the microwave again. The lamb was chewy, all in all not a very nice meal at all. If it was last knocking you expect food to run out but not at 2pm when it's lunch time

Great breakfast, good service very quiet

From the moment we attended for dinner Leane B was very welcoming and helpful. Leane was very attentive, friendly and made it a very worthwhile visit! The restaurant is very lucky to have her! The food was lovely and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely return in the future!

Had my dads 80th birthday there today it was lovely and enjoyed by all and our waiter Ben was so lovely and nothing was too much for him, he helped make the day extra special

Carol, our waitress was outstanding!!! We were a group of x 8 for Sunday Lunch & absolutely nothing was too much trouble throughout our meal. And the pub was busy!! Carol smiled throughout & literally couldn't have been more helpful & she had a large order to begin with plus drinks etc. And the food was delicious! And mention to her colleague who was a young man, with longer hair & a beard ( I think ) who very kindly offered to help one of our party cut her food up as she'd injured her hand. This was similar to the excellence in customer service that Carol showed throughout! Thank you to Carol, her colleague & the chef!

A quiet Monday night... Not busy but service was slow. The menu not only says what's on offer but also offers a look at what the last person had as they are stained and sticky. Not overly clean. Food eventually arrives with warm salad and coleslaw. Bar staff brought drinks over and spilt tea over my partner. Now everyone makes mistakes but to not even say and just shrug it off...Waitress asked if everything was OK and when we tried to say no not really, she ran off as quick as she could. Very carefree attitude from all the staff, food very average. Avoid.

We went for breakfast on our Daughters 12th birthday. Jacqueline greeted us and was super friendly and informative. The restaurant was clean and the service was efficient. We will definitely be back.

Typical low budget place the food isn't a treat but is edible providing your hunger is sufficient. Service is okay not efficient or good but mistakes are acknowledged and fixed Atmosphere! well not filling you with awe and hushed reverence for instance the tables have a ubiquitous tackiness when touched and the fabric on the dining chairs give you graphic representations of all the spills and accidents of their past, they did fill me with a certain trepidation placing any part of my person on them. This type of establishment has a poor reputation for good reasons but it's what you paid for Budget food Budget staff Budget atmosphere Budget experience

Roast was great and our server was very friendly

Unfortunately, we didn't get our breakfast, when we turned up after booking online....they didn't have a table for us, after finding one...we waited a while to be served. We ordered our cooked breakfast and waited over 45 minuets...we saw others come in order, get their food, eat and then leave while we waited....we asked and were told it's being plated. Another 10 or so mins passed. We got a refund and left. Had breakfast elsewhere.

It was lunchtime. Very tasty burger and chips followed by vanilla ice cream drizzled with caramel. Only one waitress on duty. A lot of pressure on her but she was excellent. Very attentive and helpful considering the pressure she was under.

Nice place good staff good food

Absolutely dirty and filthy chairs and tables. We waited 70 minutes just for a burger. They were not busy. Three main courses unavailable. Very disappointed!! We are nearly leaving because waiting so long. Manager came across and offered some pathetic excuse about being "exceptionally busy" and short of staff. No discount offered. We passed dessert and coffee because so much time wasted.l

My waiter (Catherine) was amazing, she was so attentive and since I had a free refill drink, she saw I was running low and hit me a new one without me having to ask. Food was sublime and came out of the kitchen quick and fresh with a substantial distance between meals, enough time for it to go down. Atmosphere was amazing especially considering it was 3:30 when we arrived, would walk 3 miles over broken glass to be here! You must go here!

My partner and I had a lovely meal with great service from Karen, Ben & Tom. Was an absolute pleasure.

We had a very generous roast meal yesterday. I haven't tried their Sunday Roast before but it was very good.

Numerous orders mixed up and then ordinary food. Inattention to allergies and the importance of ensuring patrons are listened to and reasonable requests adhered to.

Whoever does the rotas need to sort it out! To only have one waitress working on a busy Friday morning is ridiculous. I don't know if the waitress Catherine usually rushes children, speaking for them and leaving them frustrated after ordering or if it was because she was busy, but seriously, why only have one member of staff on?
