Super friendly helpful staff. Couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome with small well behaved dog....well until the dog tipped the water bowl. Thanks for being so lovely

My first time having a delivery from here. A very tasty Pizza and fast delivery. Most impressed! I enjoyed it more than a Dominoes Pizza.

Absolutely lovely pub. We talked with the owner and he was very friendly and the service and food were wonderful.

ENOUGH is enough with this restaurant, we oredered a take away and yet again GOT IT WRONG ! Then they say we didnt order correctly, order placed at 5.20 pm Today 15th Feb ( my birthday treat ) twice i repeated the order to the girl on the phone and she confirmed it ! food arrived at 6.10. COLD !!!! as well as not the full order we placed missing items and was cold !! i didnt expect to have to renuke my food to get it hot, that was only the part, then when i rang and complained they said I only ordered 1 rice instead of 2 that I had previoulsy twice confirmed with the girl who took the order, after all this when we finally sat to eat my Wifes order was wrong not just cold but well wrong ! this is the LAST time we use this place , the food is sub standard they get it wrong more than right its cold on delivery, then they say its MY fault the order was wrong. even after repeating my self a third time to complain about my order they have the gal to say well we only have this order you placed >>>?? eh ?? 3 times i placed it and they get it totally wrong , cold food, wrong food, and food ordered with meat in it comes with ONE PIECE of meat in it ?? really, its time they closed or got shut down, I am going to have a conversation with trading standard and environmental as it sounded when i originally orderd this that eveyone there was either coughing or sneezing , was my food safe after all this I WONDER . I will not be using this place again, they cant get the orders right and its NOT the first time, aand when it comes its cold so you choose, use them at your own peril unless you have a micro wave to heat the food fit enough to consume !!!!!!

Ive not long been discharged from hospital after eating a kebab from here which almost killed me as i got salmonella which attacked my blood, my kidneys and heart was also affected. Hopefully they are now following the guidelines from lewes council so no-one else gets severely ill .

Well, it all started when we came to the front door and the bar man was so unwelcoming he may as well of told us to leave before we entered. To say the least it was a disappointment. However the bar ladies was very nice. What a shame the barman’s unwelcoming behaviour overshadowed the bar lady wonderful customer service. It would a much better pub with out him in my opinion.

AVOID ordering from here food arrived rock hard. The chicken was all fatty bits with hairs on it. Was absolutely vile the Doner meat arrived burnt like it was left out. I will not be ordering from here again I wouldn’t even feed it to my dogs 😡😡

Well don't quite know what to say about this place , other than its very ran down. Today we went for lunch as we thought it would be quick, how wrong were we --- we waited 3/4 hour for 2 dishes. After 30 mins I asked the waitress if she could check on our food, she came back and said another 15 mins. at exactly quarter past the hour our food came out by a young boy I asked him why it was so long and he said.. you are not the only customers here. Anyway rude staff and food and no refund or apology. the manager came to see me and he said it's done sorry for the wait. Tables dirty and very young staff unsupervised who are wkd staff . Do not eat here if you want a good meal the food is not worth it.

I was served by a lovely member of staff, who was friendly and helpful. The veggie patty sandwich I had was quite tasty, but what happened to all the vegan options? Vegan chicken? Vegan meatballs? There are now far better places to go for a sandwich. Could do much better

I have the pleasure to meet YAZ and since he is at Papa John's Peacehaven, the pizza doe is much better and pizzas taste better. When ordering and on collection he is always very helpful.

This restaurant used to be our go to a quick, great value, tasty lunch. No more! We had to wait quite a long time for our food. We ordered the cod goujons in brioche bun and got only one measly goujon that was more batter than fish and the fish was dry, it was so overcooked. Same for the fish & chips where the fish was a skinny strip of fish in several inches thick batter, tasteless and dry with a very small portion of chips and very unappetising mushy peas - costing £13.95! My daughter’s salad was missing most of the ingredients and we had to ask for them which took quite a while to arrive. Won’t be returning here.

Left without having dinner due to feeling hotel manager was unprofessional and unwelcoming. This is the second review I’ve ever written in my life! (The only other when a pie man shouted at my young daughter for curiously touching a pie). The hospitality business is 50% about the staff imo and I have given 3stars because the revamp is good and the ambiance nice and cosy and tasteful. The young bar staff were pleasant and the receptionist was charming and helpful. However, this has been the second time I have found the hotel manager to be short, unfriendly and downright rude. My partner then arrived and the first thing he said to me was the bar manager is really rude! Sort it out! You’re losing customers. How hard is it to be welcoming and polite and helpful? We went to a pub down the road the food was questionable but half the price and the customer service was friendly.

Popped by around 3 - staff were cleaning - conversation was had whilst not once looking up from the mop. No food available - very unwelcoming - won’t bother again
