The best restaurants serving Default food in Lewes South East

Absolutely terrible customer service black curly hair waiter didn’t warn us about the smothered chicken not including garlic bread because they “don’t have it” even tho there is a massive Sainsbury’s next door Restaurant is dirty Food is frozen not fresh all round grotesque I’m shocked how bad this place has gone down hill used to be packed and now is empty

They are open till 5pm but shut half of the cafe at 2.30pm. the staff can't wait to go home even at 2.30pm! Flies everywhere! This is the worst Costa that I have ever been in!

My first time having a delivery from here. A very tasty Pizza and fast delivery. Most impressed! I enjoyed it more than a Dominoes Pizza.

Kavya is one of the nicest staff members in subway, every time I come in she’s always so friendly and makes the best margarita slices!!!, apart from that staff are always friendly approachable etc, would recommend on visiting

Took over 1.5hrs to get delivered and arrived Luke warm at the most. Asked for my noodles to be spicy… this wasn’t done. Odd tasting curry and gelatinous satay sauce.

Took 2 hrs to deliver, 2 dishes missing and freezing cold, cintacted them and the really weren't bothered. So many Better chinese resturants in seaford. In fact any of them

Ive not long been discharged from hospital after eating a kebab from here which almost killed me as i got salmonella which attacked my blood, my kidneys and heart was also affected. Hopefully they are now following the guidelines from lewes council so no-one else gets severely ill .

Well, it all started when we came to the front door and the bar man was so unwelcoming he may as well of told us to leave before we entered. To say the least it was a disappointment. However the bar ladies was very nice. What a shame the barman’s unwelcoming behaviour overshadowed the bar lady wonderful customer service. It would a much better pub with out him in my opinion.

The food is tasteless, salad came in a tiny container, cold when delivered. Expensive for such poor quality portions, will not be using this place again. Woodingdean pizza is far superior.

I had eaten in the restaurant before and was treated very well even though i hadnt booked. A couple of weeks later, i walked in to book a table for lunch ( the restaurant wasnt open) and was greated by a very angry woman with glasses of about 50 yrs old and scruffy looking. She didn't listen to what i was saying & kept looking at her computer with no eye contact when i spoke. I was told the waiters would not be able to cope with 2 more people at 1pm. She booked me in at 2pm. A time i didnt request. Very unpleasant person. I went to the w.c. and when i came back to the restaurant, she was talking about me to the bar staff and giggling. I immediately cancelled the booking as i didnt want to eat at that time and i went elsewhere. I will never ever go back now to this restaurant now, as i do not tolerate rudeness. Local to Lewes so i shall spread the word to beware !!!

Well don't quite know what to say about this place , other than its very ran down. Today we went for lunch as we thought it would be quick, how wrong were we --- we waited 3/4 hour for 2 dishes. After 30 mins I asked the waitress if she could check on our food, she came back and said another 15 mins. at exactly quarter past the hour our food came out by a young boy I asked him why it was so long and he said.. you are not the only customers here. Anyway rude staff and food and no refund or apology. the manager came to see me and he said it's done sorry for the wait. Tables dirty and very young staff unsupervised who are wkd staff . Do not eat here if you want a good meal the food is not worth it.

The large 18 inch is enough to feed 4 .. really good pizza

I have the pleasure to meet YAZ and since he is at Papa John's Peacehaven, the pizza doe is much better and pizzas taste better. When ordering and on collection he is always very helpful.

Thank you to the ladies on the food tills today ..everything was amazingly clean , tidy , well presented and they were all lovely and helpful . It was a real pleasure to visit.
