Subway in Lewes

The amazing staff at this branch always go above and beyond to give the best service. I have experienced in the past with ordering deliveries from here when the exact order cant be done they always give a little something. And today especially a very sweet message was left that I was very appreciative of how kind the staff there are and appreciated the little extra bits. Harry :)

Staff don’t speak English and charged 11.50 for a sub with just bacon in it scammmm

Friendly service with a smile :) I went to my local Subway in the Lewes Center and was greeted by a nice female staff member by the name Ana we struck up a short conversation and Made my sub exactly to my requests and was genuinely warm and personable made my morning a lot easier. will be back for a return visit as the food met my expectations.

Went in for a breakfast sub yesterday I only asked for tomato and red onion but he said you have to pay for it. And he didn't know how to make it. I worked for the subway for 14 years and you never charge for salad

The girl she works there most of the time she is doing a great service and she deserves a 5 stars feedback. Store is clean and organised, one of the best Subway i have had. Very hard to find a parking nearby, you have to park somewhere away then walk to store.

I don't think the staff have had any training, sometimes you can food that is amazing however this time at 12 the person was useless, the salad was half the size normally given and the chips I asked for was smaller portion and unseasoned until I asked for some. The lack of care and want to be there was so little I'm surprised that he came to do the food at all. If your gonna give me less food then charge me less or leave the job if you care that little

Rip off prices alot more than any other subway, also the deals they have outside, be careful they charge you correctly. Just got a subway and I was overcharged, without any apology they try and add extras on like cookies and crisps when you simply just ask for a sub! Avoid this place they just rip you off as it’s in Lewes. Think we’re all made of money!!

Deliveroo delivery. The Wedges are flimsy, rubbery and cold and the chicken bites are barely cooked. Wouldn't want to risk eating them.. Really bloody horrible food.

Had I been on my own I would have turned round and walked right out of this place it is so inambient. A Lewes aberration. The food is cheap—that says it all.

Got 2 meals and a side and only after looking at my receipt did I notice the lady had put through the sub, drink and snack on both meals separately to make it more expensive and not a meal deal

Turn around. Walk 500 metres at a brisk pace in the direction of the train station. Ask for the nearest connection out of town. Get on the train. Never come back.

Incredibly poor service, on delivery the wait is over an hour and the food is completely wasted, the shop is an utter disgrace and I’m am disgusted with how it gets away with it, not to mention the fact they refuse to answer the phone to fix the mess! Going in store you get nothing but rudeness and insults

Arrived just on closing time. Staff were cleaning down and putting the food away. The manager said it's no problem to serve us. I thought that was very kind of him to go out of his way to serve us!

Have to give them credit for adapting. Plenty of vegan options these days including vegan cheese. Guilty pleasure I suppose.

Gluten free fast food...BRILLIANT

Multiple issues. Owner cut meatballs in half and when complained there was not as many as in photo. Was told in the photo they were cut in half but just pointed towards the camera so you could not see they were half Another time had a 10% off however owner said applied only to one sub of the order even though the voucher said nothing of the sort. Worse subway ever. Made an order online and it took 2 hours to be delivered. Once arrived both sandwiches were burnt. I had ordered extra meat in one, it definitely didnt have extra meat. The order was missing two packets of crisps. Would not suggest ordering from them for delivery!

Great subs and deals but these are seen across all subways in England that I have visited. The staff in the lewes subway are very friendly and like to get to know you and once they do hand you special offers they have for the staff. I love getting my morning breakfast sub and will go back in for my afternoon one also!

Probably the worst subway I've ever been to the lady who normally serves me is rude and ignorant and rarely listens to my requests and never ever smiles making it a horrible atmosphere. The manager is aggressive and intimidating and if I owned this franchise i would sack all of the staff they are disgraceful in addition the food is disgusting and cold

Took 2 hours for our order to come, 2 things were missing and the whole order was inedible. Spoke to the manager who said he needed to call his boss and would get back to me. That was a week ago and despite calling and going in there to speak to him, he's ignored all correspondence!

Ordered a takeaway which did not arrive. Subway claimed it had been delivered and referred us to Just Eat. Several conversations with Just Eat and Subway later with each passing to the other with no apology,, no customer service and an inference that we were being dishonest. Would nevet use this Subway or Just Eat again as a result of this appalling customer service and unwillingness to accept responsibility. Can accept that mistakes with delivery are made but cannot accept the response to the issue which was appalling from both the branch and Just Eat staff.

Upon ordering our sandwiches, my friend and I were informed that we were not allowed to stay in the restaurant because they were closing, even though it was 20:35 and the restaurant doesn’t close until 21:00. The female manager made us feel very unwelcome, we did not feel like we were being treated as customers, but more as an inconvenience to her. Better staff training!

The man serving was useless. Ordered a 2.99 meal deal. He said the bread I choose was unavailable so offered some others. At the end he tries to charge me more stating the bread I choose (which he offered) wasnt in the meal deal so was now £xxx.

Great selection and price as you would expect from subway, with a full selection of lunch time treats. But as an added benefit the staff are really friendly and chatty. They always great you with a smile and it makes for a welcoming experience.

Nice new restaurant. Staff are a little slow (expected for a new store) but it's a welcome addition to the town.

Unhelpful staff. Very small portions eg. Spicy italian 7 slices of each meat. Elsewhere 10 of each. Salads equally small.
