Was my second time in this place and again I was not amazed with the coffee and the service. The service was very slow and the staff were very loud and lots of Italian swearing. The coffee is very bland and not much flavour. There are better places in Sheffield and more pleasant than this one.

Best egg & cheese baps ever. We travel here just for the food. Riding the trails is the second priority in comparison!

Really lovely dinner at Tara. Finally an evening without kids, so thought we'd give the village Thai restaurant a go - thank goodness we did! The restaurant itself feels genuine as you walk in, warm and inviting with soft (non Thai!) music playing. Surprisingly quiet for a Friday evening - go and try this place and give it your custom!!Service was a little slow in asking for drinks, but a bottle of Oyster Bay sauvignon blanc wasn't much more than you'd pay in Sainsbury's. We had scallops and spring rolls to start with: both gorgeous, with enough of a kick to the scallops that I got to have 2 where my wife only had 1. Unfortunately she had the second spring roll instead. Then we had a "safe" red Thai chicken curry, and a king prawn "dry curry". Both were really good! Red was a little spicier, dry was a little creamier, but both disappeared very quickly! Should have had 2 bowls of rice (1 is often enough to share in some places), but all in all, a fantastic meal! And extremely good value at just over £60 including the wine! We'll be going back...

Popped in today for a bite to eat. My wife had the chicken ciabatta which was delicious and my beef lasagne was to die for . Pistachio brownie finished me off, probably the tastiest brownie I have ever eaten. Lovely little place lovely staff and lovely Italian home cooked food using quality ingredients. Look forward to going back soon.

My wife and I just sampled the Kirthon menu and everything we had was simply superb! It is very rare to experience such amazingly tender chicken - in the chicken tikka starter and the speciality main Sylheti Murgh - which were both quite outstanding and delicious. We can also recommend the sheek kebab and the chicken makhani, which my wife had. We have been before, some time ago, but had forgotten quite how good this place is. Well worth going!

Was staying nearby, and saw the reviews were good when looking for somewhere to eat for an evening meal. The reviews were certainly accurate, with great food and welcoming staff. Would definitely visit again if finding myself nearby again in the future.

It feels like they don't quite know what they are, a contemporary Italian, a traditional Italian or a pizza place. Food was ok but the menu feels too big for it all to be freshly made on site. I think it would do better if it worked out exactly what it is as a restaurant. We won't be going back as it wasn't special enough. Really friendly staff which was a plus

Since moving to the village over a decade ago, this is the only place we ever buy Chinese or Fish and Chips from. The food is fresh, cooked to order, caters to my foibles (no egg on egg fried rice…) and is always served with a smile. The portions are large, we always have enough for lunch the next day and it always tastes as good then. Top tip, call your order in early as they are always busy, for good reason!

Goodbye Goose and hello Annare. Lovely fresh makeover complete with very friendly mum and son team. We were served by the son who apologised for the delay in our coffee. He told us it had been ready but was sitting behind the counter whilst he served a couple of walk-ins...not really what we wanted to hear. We enjoyed a delicious fresh home-baked lasagne and will definately be returning however they serve Illy coffee which is rather too strong for my liking so will try tea next time.
