The best restaurants serving Default food in Eastleigh South East

We booked a dinner through The Fork app as everywhere was booked out (due to the COVID restrictions being gradually lifted and all pubs overbooked), and happened to be the only customers that evening. The barman/host was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We sat on the terrace with a gas burner/warmer and an umbrella to keep us warm and cosy. The surroundings are beautiful - overlooking a large open space with a stream down some steps. The food was very nice, we each had a different type of a burger. The portions were very generous and there were options to suit different tastes, including great vegan food. Although this was our first time here and mostly an accidental booking, we will definitely be returning soon!

Out don't hang up on the customer when you've got there oder wrong and then just ignore them when they try calling you back ..... has been a favourite until this.

We've been here several times for lunch and we will not be coming again. Expensive food that's not that good. It does look much better than the old cafe that was there before but that is all I can say about it.

The staff were very friendly and polite but there wasn't a single vegan option with regards to food. There wasn't a vegan sandwich, toastie, bap, cake or anything which is awful! Nothing to eat for breakfast/lunch or a snack!

We normally treat ourselves to a curry from here to be delivered on a Friday. The food is hot, very tasty and the delivery service l can only say speedy! Highly recommend to everyone

Waited 45 mins for my food sausage hard hash brown full of fat bacon all fat but did enjoy my bottle of coke apart from that very poor. Go to cafe cream hedge end brilliant food.

Stay clear of this restaurant, well overpriced for the poor food served. Stayed in the hotel with my family and used the restaurant as it was convenient……wish I hadn’t. Ordered the burger, Mac and cheese and Beef chilli. My burger was red inside, dripping with fat with a small portion of chips. Mac and cheese, that was clearly nuked. Cheese lobbed on top of the pasta, tasteless. Beef chilli just about edible. The three courses were ordered and on our table less than 10 mins. Saw another table return the burger. Expectations at the price they are charging is to at least cook the food fresh. No way was that fresh food. Reheated. Full refund given on burger and Mac and cheese. School meals were better. No way a chef made our food. Staff serving were very helpful and happy.

Why employ anyone that serves you like this! If you are the owner, try for your self. It is not always about the food it is service as well, I am not coming back , miserable service.

Always good chips from here, have tried quite a bit of the menu and have not been disappointed. Tonight the chicken burger was delicious, lovely fresh salad as well. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger which was equally as delicious. Definitely a place I'd recommend for a quick takeaway.

Food was inedible. The duck was full of bones and gristle I almost broke a tooth trying to eat it. The rich soup was bland but the duck put us both off our food to the point most of it went in the bin. Very disappointed won’t be coming back

Had breakfast here today bacon roll lovely and cup of tea. I think its dear prices . Just a one off I think. Great service. Clean floors .
