We've been here several times for lunch and we will not be coming again. Expensive food that's not that good. It does look much better than the old cafe that was there before but that is all I can say about it.

My family and I had lunch here ,and I ordered Cumberland sausage mash potatoe,cabbage peas ,and onion gravy ,when it came instead of mash potatoe it had chips with it ,since when do you have cabbage with chips ,I complained to the waitress and she told me the chef said they ran out of mash potatoe rubbish ,why didn’t they say when they took my order it’s only polite to say sorry we have not got any mash ,not just to put chips on my plate instead ,not happy will not be going back ,

A simple lunch snack, served piping hot and quickly, quite a nice idea having a children play area, good for parents, adults wishing to have peace away from it had a are choice also,

We called in yesterday morning to look round the garden centre and decided to have lunch as it was my partners birthday. We both had the fish and chips - one with garden peas; one with mushy peas. The fish tasted freshly cooked and was delicious. The portion of mushy peas was huge - in a pottery bowl and the fish came with lemon and a little container of tartare sauce. We had two lattes too and the service was excellent. All in all i was very pleasantly surprised by the service and the atmosphere.

came here 3 times in 1 month, hot food was not avaliable and its overpriced for a garden centre , expect to pay this at top restaurant but not here

When I visited the restaurant in August I was very impressed with the choice, the value for money, the staff and the service. Today the choice and value for money remained good but I waited 30 minutes before reminding a waitress that I had ordered (and paid for) a meal. The young woman, not British by the sound of her accent, took ownership of the problem and resolved it perfectly including a complimentary coffee. I was planning to put it down to a simple mistake in a busy kitchen, but it wasn't really busy. Then I noticed that customers all around me were also complaining about long delays. The same waitress was fielding all these situations and most customers seemed placated, that young woman deserves a bonus. I can only think that key personnel or management have left the business and they are sorely missed.

Super flat white and a latte. Both nice and hot. A slice of carrot cake each too, which was delicious. Pleasant setting and great service.

I've used Goodies for a number of years now. Decided to get myself pie and chips. The pie was dreadful, just liquid and hardly any meat. Will not be recommending them in the future.

Good pub, always busy, especially on curry night! Good food, very reasonably priced all round. Staff are always polite and helpful. A great local, if a little noisy at times. Steak night on a Tuesday is also a popular night!

Came here when the carvery we normally go to was booked up, very much will not come here again. It was freezing cold in there we had to actually keep our coats on, they gave us a toddlers meal when we very much did not order one and didn’t have any toddlers with us, the vegetables were rock hard, the food was cold and substandard and overall, it was just a terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place in a million years!

Some of the worst staff ever! When I was overcharged for an item that was incorrectly priced I was told I should check the 13 digit bar code instead of the large printed price tag & then told I was rude when I questioned this. What is wrong with these people? Many others have also said how dreadful the staff at this store are. They have no respect for the customers that ultimately pay their wages.

Excellent kebab shop, been using for years. always tasty, clean and good value. Would always choose this one.
