The Noodle Place in Eastleigh

2nd time ordered from 1st time the soup base didn’t, come but the seafood noodles were nice. Gave them another chance and this time there was no seafood in the noodle bowl. Hugely disappointed

food sounded great on listing but was poor on arrival. Chicken Satay had a great sauce, spring rolls were alright, but unfortunately the noodles were poor - lacked a good flavour and seemed to favour quantity over quality - shame as I had high hopes.

The food was fine but bland. Had the Rich Asian beef soup with veg but was not rich and the tofu was stale. The stir fry was fine but lacked flavour. The dishes also came with fresh salad mixed in for some reason so it was warm but not cooked.

Not very tasty sadly, especially for such a highly rated restaurant . The rich beef broth was very bland and under-salted. The spicy broth was only spicy, otherwise lacking in taste. The dumplings weren't great quality and the pork was a little dry.

Delivered on time and food was great !

Food was good, if very marginally over time. Still hot and tasty.

Just ordered a bowl of noodles with beef broth and some Chinese bbq chicken wings. Absolutely no seasoning in any of it, the broth tasted like water, noodles were so over cooked they were like mush and the chicken wings tasted awful. Tried to call to discuss but no answer on several occasions. Very disappointed and can’t even get through to discuss some kind of refund.

Chips where wet and non eatable

Should be called the beansprout palace. Basically a bowl full of them barely any noodles! Very disappointed

Have ordered a few times and always consistently great food! Random over fried Tofu in my vegetable dish today, was not enjoyable, please don’t add over fried tofu to your abasing dishes!

Bland and over cooked. No flavour to the "rich" beef broth.

This was always one of our favourite places to order noodles from for a long time. The food was always fresh and you knew what you were getting every time. Our last 2 orders have been awful though. One occasion I can put down to a bad day in the kitchen, but twice now and no improvement means I'll now be giving this place a miss in future. Such a shame.

We ordered 2x noodle soups with different noodles and toppings, flavours were really good but the noodles were too soft. Could also have done with more/different vegetables on top. Chicken wings were lovely. Would order again and hope the noodles have more texture.

2 hours from order to delivery. 2 meals ordered, both went in the bin after 2 mouthfuls each. The chicken was rubber, the rice was wrong, worst take away I’ve ever used.

Have ordered here before and although bit pricey was impressed with the char Sui pork noodles. Went for the katsu chicken noodles tonight and was a bit disappointed. The chicken was dry , the spicy stir fry was nice but lacked in vegetables….previously in my char Sui pork noodles there was loads of vegetables.

Dumplings weren’t great, delivery took an hour and a half to get to me and the bag was dripping in chilli sauce.

One of the worst take aways I have had in a while.... Half of the food was rubbery and clearly microwaved until hot; the dumplings were the equivalent of eating a car tire however the pork inside was pleasant. The chicken katsu was only 30% chicken and 70% breadcrumbs however was arguably the most enjoyable part of the meal. Overall the meal was a 1/10 at best and am very let down after paying £16 and driving 15 minutes to collect what was clearly microwaved food and could have been easily beaten my a shop brought ready meal. Would not buy again.

I usually know this place will be late as standard now. I've never had a meal on time from The Noodle Place, so I always make sure to book food an extra 1.5 hours at least in advance. The food is so tasty though, it's always worth the wait/delays. :) If this was any other restaurant, I'd not go back for so many delayed delivery's however in this case, it's just really popular. Think it would be nice to have a note on delivery time something more realistic on how long it will take to receive orders as it's usually always at least 30 minutes late. Still... Love this food <3

The Food was late and took 2 HOURS to even leave the restaurant and I would normally have rated the food for this length of delay 1 star... HOWEVER the delivery driver was so cute that you get an extra bonus 4 stars for delivery. Congratulations!

Excellent tasty food. Best of its kind around here. The only problem still with this restaurant is delivery time. Its takes around 1.5 - 2 hours to get food. It was not late, just takes so long to receive. Will definitely like to use again despite the long wait, because the food is just so GREAT!

Chips dry and hard and delivery was over 20 mins late after telling us would b an hour wait so an hour and 20mins for food was disappointing

The meal was very nice I will order again but it would be nice to see what ingredients are used for the meals.

Ok the delivery was late. I preordered the food hour and 45 mins before so it’s ready when I get home but at least they let me know. The food was amazing, huge portion (even got leftover) and very tasty.

Happy with the service and food

Really disappointed with the state of the food when it was delivered. Sauce spilt all in the bag and barely enough to salvage for the meal. Driver could clearly see there had been a spillage but left it on the doorstep anyway.

The only issue was the sauce was in the bag when arrived as it leaked

Fresh, tasty food. Tom yum soup was a little bit salty and nothing in the soup (just water) but chicken Katsu curry and spicy beef flavour soup with ramen and pork was very yummy! Would recommend for those two especially!

Ordered chicken noodles with tom yum soup and prawns. What arrived was the complete opposite of tom yum it was like they had no idea what tom yum was completely tasteless. the prawns were over cooked and hard and just tasted of salt,would rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon than have food from here again. Save your money for restaurants that know and care about what they do

Over 3 hours to deliver, over 2 hours from delivery estimate. Ignored phone calls. And a tub of sauce had spilt all in the bag so couldnt have all the items. Nothing offered when asked. Wont order again.

First time use for us and it was lovely, the taste was really nice, good portion size and delivered hot. Perfect.

Massive meal, tasty and well presented

Firstly the food was supposed to arrive at 9:20 which was already 1 and a half hours waiting FOR NOODLES ??? Takes 5 minutes to make, and this is a restaurant which has food consistently on the go. Ok so i bite the bullet and wait 1.5 hours Nothing in site, no messages of cancellation, no idea what's going on. The time was still 9.20 on the website and it was now 9.30 Absolutely starving we called the restaurant and checked with Just Eat. The driver had only just got back and they said very sorry, please give 10 more minutes. Not happy at ALL about this ridiculous delay, we waited. 25 minutes passed again, and we contacted Just eat again. I went outside to see if the any cars were there and we saw a driver briefly wave as he was already getting back into the car to drive off. If i hadn't have gone outside at that moment, we would never have known the food had even of arrived. It's a pretty NON-service this place. and the service really let the restaurant down. The noodles are double the price they should be for what they are, however they ARE tasty and filling. Maybe it's better not to use delivery options as they are abysmal, but the food is not bad.

Service was great, delivery arrived on time. Food however was subpar. Pork wasn’t fresh, tasted like it was cooked the day before, the herb used on the rice was overpowering and the soup on the noodles was too salty.

Nice food, Big portions but lukewarm. Initial delivery estimate put back 20 minutes and it eventually arrived 30 minutes late. No apology from driver. Won’t order again.

Not only was the delivery late by 30mins, but the noodle dish wasn’t hot and lacking in taste. The dish was 90% noodles and only 10% vegetables. The spring roles were also cold and lacking in fillings. Will not be using this place again.

Good quality healthier food option, well presented, a tad on the expensive side in comparison to other options, but worth it in my opinion.

Second time ordering. Yes the spring rolls were a bit over done but I still love how fresh and hot the noodles are and flavoursome! New favourite place!

Every single element of my food was shocking. Katsu sauce was thin, made worse by the greasy mushrooms on top. The spring rolls were burnt- and my dumplings had never seen a grill or a steamer. Disgusting food

Food was dry and a lot of the sauce had spilt into the bottom of the bag.

Satay Chicken: mostly inedible, dry and overcooked. Char Sui: Dry, Overcooked rubbish. This is Canton House under another name I will never order from this or allied companies again. I shall ask Just Eat to look at the reviews for this company because the food quality on the 3 occasions I have used it was abysmal.

Lovely food! We ordered the equivalent of our two favourite Wagamama dishes: grilled duck ramen and chicken katsu curry. Both were very good, but next time I would like the option to customise. My son is a fussy eater and his katsu curry came with tomatoes and mushroom and onion, which he didn't like. He thought the katsu chicken was excellent, though. I ordered the spicy beef broth to go with my grilled duck and noodles. It was a little too spicy for me, so I would like the option of ordered a rich chicken broth next time. But we will definitely add this restaurant to our takeaway list - getting it delivered was a big bonus!

it's nice but very expensive for what it is you can get similar from the local chinese and pay half it's a noodle soup a cheap dish across the globe dosent warrant a 10.60 price

Over 30 minutes late, cold and the katsu chicken was inedible.

Having previously ordered food from here, both my partner and I really were really impressed. However on this particular occasion our food arrived two hours and twenty minutes after ordering. And, although the food was hot, the broth was watery and tasteless. Disappointed.

Loads of noodles not much meat delivery driver not interested just said we are busy

We were looking for something a little different tonight and came across The Noodle Place. They have a very simple menu but don't let this put you off. The food we received was excellent, and each katsu dish has various options to customise it. The veg spring rolls were delightfully crispy and not at all greasy. I noticed another review commented the satay skewers were overdone and tough, though this wasn't the case with ours. The skewers were very tasty and cooked just right. The chicken katsu was crispy and very flavoursome. A word about the dish sizes. We got the spring rolls, satay skewers, and two Katsu dishes, and I would say there was easily enough for 3 to 4 people. For two people we have a decent lunch tomorrow! We will definitely be ordering again!

Wow.. just WOW! I’ve been desperate for a noodle place to come to the area for ages! This is the second time I’ve ordered, and tonight has confirmed my new favourite takeaway! Portions of noodles are huge and delicious. The chilli salted chips are the best I’ve ever tasted! And the delivery drivers have each been on time and really nice. Thanks for such delicious food!

First time that we have used The Noodle Place but it won't be the last. It was delivered earlier than expected and was piping hot. The portion sizes were very generous and the food was very tasty. Price was reasonable tor the quality of food.

The food was lovely! It's great to be able to choose what you want in your noodles. Highly recommend!

Whilst the service was on time and very friendly the chicken satay was over cooked and the chicken tough.
