The best restaurants serving Default food in Great Missenden Chiltern South East

Cafe Toria was a welcome respite after a rather lengthy visit to the nearby Surgery. Limited choice but food is carefully prepared.

After seeing a recent Facebook notification that the Mangal was able to do gluten free fish and chips (as well as kebabs) the wife and I decided to give it a try as there’s a real struggle for decent fish and chips locally which are available as gluten free. We normally have to wait till we’re down the coast which is a shame. This is my first experience of the mangal and can safely say it won’t be my last, the staff were friendly and helpful explaining everyone to us, restaurant was exceptionally clean and from the look of the uncooked food in the fridge very well prepared and separated. Everything is made fresh for you when ordering gluten free and it tasted absolutely fantastic! The only downside is that I’m going to have to go on lots more runs to accommodate the extra visits the mangal is going to be receiving! Highly recommended

Lovely warm welcoming tap room with a good range of beers, an easy going atmosphere with lots of nice low level chat. Beers had a couple of lagers, mostly pales, and a stout and a sour.

Question “Does the baguette come with a salad garnish or crisps”? Answer “Yes”. Unsure why we paid extra for the salad that we were told was a garnish. Makes sense why the other baguette was just that, a baguette. Not even made to look pretty, just a roll 🤷🏻‍♀️ We didn’t have any cake 😊 But thanks for your reply 😂👏🏻

Absolutely amazing! Best pizza we’ve had in a long time. Popped in on the off chance of a table, and the lovely waitress went out of her way to accommodate us. Absolute bargain for the quality ingredients. We will definitely be back!

I made an online reservation for a special birthday celebration and received a confirmation email and a follow up reminder day of booking. However, when I arrived, I was told my reservation wasn’t on the handwritten list. I showed the staff the confirmation email, but they insisted it wasn't their fault and claimed they were fully booked. To make matters worse, I called the number on the confirmation email and the same person answered. It was incredibly frustrating, especially when they denied it was the same place, only to answer the phone themselves. Very disappointing experience would not recommend risking a special occasion.

Nags Head is a cosy, friendly place to stay with good food and great staff. We stay there regularly when visiting family to care for grandchildren.

Best Indian in the area. Always delicious and great, fast service. We regularly sit in and get takeaways - I'd recommend the New Akash to anyone!

Had a fantastic meal here today portions are amazing food cooked to perfection would recommend to everyone pop in and give it a try you won't be dissapointed

Nice enough place, only pub in the village that is open late, but bar is ridiculously expensive. Charges about 20% more for drinks than it's local competitors.

Poor service been there 12:50 today lady was keep talking with my in front customer and her colleague both saw me and eye contact but still ignored don’t saying anything to acknowledge that have one customer standing interface and in front of the till.
