Great atmosphere. Sat in the sun terrace for drinks and food and good vibe in the pub too

The seafood linguini was rather bland. Restaurant staff were slow and not very attentive. Sunny place but no views (parking lot).

I've travelled all over the world, and the Yantze restaurant has provided some of the best food and dining service I've ever had. The staff at the yantze have always been kind and caring, delivering the best service, and even surprised me with a memorable conversation from a few years ago, about the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe book series. As you embark on your well-deserved retirement, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful dining experiences you've provided for myself, my family, and my friends. This is a well established butchers in Tankerton. The meat is good quality and better than any local supermarket. The steak us really good. The charcuterie is also worth trying. They have been in business a long time.

Visited for a quick lunch as all was hungry.we ordered sandwiches and coffees which where average The view makes the place but I thought the prices where ridiculous £39 for 3 beware as soon as you sit down there is a 12%service charge added to what ever you order We won’t be visiting again we could of had a meal for that sort of money

Had such a great night! The bar staff was super! We met the lovely owners Richard and Bobbie what a pleasure it was to meet such lovely people and lovely faces! Great atmosphere! And that view is just incredible! Good prices for drinks! All rounder fantastic evening! Will definitely be coming again! If you’re in the Whitstable area I absolutely recommend this beautiful bar!

The girl with the blonde hair who works at the front is very rude and hostile toward customers. I wouldn’t recommend this location. Don’t come here. Go to another Panera.

The chips were nice but the cod bites were terrible. They were like one flake of fish covered in over cooked batter, or kept in the warmer too long. I've had cod bites from other places where they are a proper mouthful of fish. Wouldn't go there again. Had stomach ache all evening.

Food was amazing always enjoyed buying from here.

Visited Hotel Continental for a Sunday lunch. Very tasty roast beef and pork Sunday lunches. Dishes were well presented. Mains at £24 ( Jan 2025) for roasts were more expensive than a pub Sunday lunch. However we always enjoy the interesting and welcoming spacious restaurant and bar with sea views. The waitresses are both attentive and a credit to the restaurant. A pianist was providing pleasant entertainment in the bar area. The venue appears to be spotlessly decorated. Despite the stormy weather the restaurant was well heated.

My advice to anyone thinking of going to this tearoom is Do Not! I have been going to this restaurant regularly for a long time. The staff were always polite and a credit to their employer. I visited about 3 weeks ago but will definitely not be going back again. The lady who served me was extremely rude. The tables in the Orangery (where everyone likes to sit) were laid out for afternoon tea. This was 10.30 in the morning! The previous staff would put a time on the tables from when these were reserved, meaning that if you left prior to this you were able to sit there. When we arrived there were only 3 tables that you could sit at and needless to say no-one arrived to sit at the reserved ones. I am also aware that it was the same for the afternoon. e.g Tables were still laid out but not occupied! It is such a shame when something goes down hill to this degree as this is a beautiful setting.

If I could give no stars then I would. 3 curries and side dishes ordered. The peshwari naan was inedible, tasted of mould and vomit. The curries tasteless and watery. The only thing vaguely edible was a matter paneer but it only had 3 small pieces of paneer. Would not recommend.

We've been using the Lucky house for 15 years and we've never been let down . Hot , fresh , tasty and quick . We've tried many other Chinese and this is the one we come back to . I've read the bad revues and can't help thinking that they are about somewhere else . We've moved away from Tankerton now but we still come back to the Lucky House .

I’ve always been quite happy with what I’ve ordered but I made the mistake when ordering and requested to pay by cash, the delivery was prompt, chips lovely, salad was ok but on this occasion chicken burger was very below standard, thin slice of battered meat, not same as I’ve had in past. He said he would get back to me with my change but so far he’s not returned.
