The best restaurants serving Default food in Harbour Canterbury South East

We had the haddock and chips and scampi and chips and both were fresh,fantastic,fabulous friendly and fast service. The owner couldn’t have been nicer and presented the food well even down to a slice of fresh lemon and tartar sauce. You are given a beeper to alert you when the food was ready - what a novel and great system - it gave you some time to wander around the other huts whilst waiting - great idea. I can’t recommend THE FISH WIFE enough.

Accommodated a group of six with a dog and were very friendly, service was ok, but after having our meals, they didn't come back asking if we wanted more drinks or anything else. Food was good, but average and not especially hot, nothing to complain about, we've just had better. Price was reasonable.

Great restaurant with delicious food - they squeezed us in on a busy Friday night and we are very glad they did. Great place - highly recommend it.

The first time I went, the menu was a bit confusing but the waitress happily explained it. I was a bit dubious at first looking at the prices and all that but oh boy I'd say it's worth every penny. The food was lovely and the service was brilliant especially one waitress, she was 👌(feel like a creep saying that, but yeah she was 👌👌👌👌)

Charming staff delicious tea and toast too. I had a latte & my other friend had a hot chocolate and my other pal had tea & toast. She loved the toast so much.

I love getting Indian food anytime I visit England. This was delicious food at a great price. The food came out exactly as I expected. Sometimes you go to a place and the spice levels are way off, but not here. The vindaloo was spicy, and the korma was creamy and mild. The naan and popadoms were also great. Just to note that when you order an entree here, it does not include rice. You need to order that separately. So the prices aren't quite as great as they look initially, but they are still really good. They are only open for dinner, and you cannot dine in here. It is very bare bones and it is only meant for takeout at dinner time. But that's all I needed. I would definitely order this again, but I live 4,000 miles away so we will see.

Coffee nice -but whole place needs a good clean - and it was not busy - bench seats full of food crumbs - table dirty - not a very nice environment

Whitstable you lucky people!! You have one of the best smoke houses I have even been too on your doorstep! Greated with the warmest welcome by people who are proud of their restaurant and the food it's producing!! And rightly so, the meats are cooked to perfection, with outstanding flavour in every mouthful... we travelled down from Chatham and its was worth the journey.. if you haven't been, then you need to, this place has everything. Stew was filling, lovely taste and served promptly. Had a pudding after which was spot on.
