Morelli's Gelato Whitstable in Canterbury

We were greeted with a warm welcome and a big smile from Grace. We had an amazing coffee - the best we had for a long time. Grace was so kind, offered us a lovely biscuit and when discussing ice creams offered us a taste of an amazing pistachio flavour one. The place was spotless and so welcoming and we will make it our destination for our next visit to Whitstable. Grace is a great ambassador for this establishment and made our day. Thank you for your service and for making us feel so welcome. 10/10*

Charming staff delicious tea and toast too. I had a latte & my other friend had a hot chocolate and my other pal had tea & toast. She loved the toast so much.

We call in for drinks / ice cream very regularly. The quality is excellent. All the members of staff are very friendly, cheerful and accommodating (to everybody, but we vegans especially appreciate it!). If you are visiting Whitstable you must go to Morelli's. You will not be disappointed.

Disappointed. The service was abysmal. After a lovely afternoon was so looking forward to visiting here and finishing a perfect day . Wouldn’t bother going back .wanted to eat in but ended up with takeaway as staff not interested in listening to requests. The ice cream was nice enough but expensive.

Charlie is great and runs a lovely cafe.The place is spotless,especially the toilets(this IS important)We prefer this branch to the Broadstairs one,very attractive, as is Charlie.He us charm,personified. Go there,you will not be disappointed, within an enchanting high street. Great experience,well done Charlie.

What a good place for a bite to eat in Whitstable after exploring the town - a great choice. I started with a delicious cheese crepe that had a generous filling as I fancied something savoury. The crepe itself was light, just as it should be. Being a Gelateria I couldn't leave without enjoying a gelato, also delicious and came beautifully presented in a lovely dish. And even better on a hot day, they had delightful outdoor area at the rear of the premises to sit, relax and enjoy their food and drink.

Wonderful knickerbocker glories as remembered from childhood treats, lovely service and welcoming our well behaved dog. Will definitely return to make new memories Thank you

Went to Morelli's today, love this place. The Ice Cream is just sooo delicious. I had 'Kilimanjaro Coffee' and 'Pistachio' flavour, just gorgeous, my wife had 'Pistachio' ice cream and a coffee drink which she says was great,.. she's very choosy when it comes to coffee. I would recommend Morelli's to everyone visiting Whitstable, go there, treat yourself. A&L

Very rarely would my mother or I indulge in a second cuppa coffee. But on this occasion Grace certainly did Morelli's proud. My oat milk Cappuccino was NOT bitter it was perfect and my mum expressed it was the best coffee she had had in a long time. Give it a go you will not be disappointed and such a cute place too❤️🙌🏽Thanks Grace

My husband and I visited this lovely cafe for the first time yesterday, and have to say we were very impressed. We sat outside in the pretty, quirky courtyard area, as it was a warm sunny day. We had coffee and cake which was excellent, and the girl who served us ( sorry, forgot to ask her name) was so lovely and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place 👍.

What a fabulous place right in the heart of Whitstable. Lovely little court yard garden. Dog friendly. Delicious gelato. Friendly staff. Great service. Can’t wait to go again & try more flavours

Popped in for an early ice cream and coffee, the best gingerbread latte I've had for a long time. Ice cream went down a treat for my daughter, served by the wonderful Grace, so happy and helpful, we popped back for a quick drink of water which Grace was quick to help with, thank you Grace!

We were passing through and had an ice cream. I had the dulce de leche and it was spot on. It was difficult to choose. I liked that they had specials and was very tempted but the orange. If i lived closer I would be back for it

Disappointing, ice cream sundaes for £14.95, absolutely mental prices for what they were! Coffees were tiny for the price, spoons were dirty, leant back and the whole back rest along the wall was complete unstable. Didn’t feel overly welcome. Had been looking forward to visiting but won’t be back, much better offerings available in Whitstable at much better prices. Such a shame.

Very friendly staff (Grace). Was extra kind to my toddler bringing him a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Amazing ice cream with a reasonable selection of flavours. Service was a tad slow young lad really wasn't coping with the volume and it wasn't that busy.

I didn't realise this place sold more than just Ice Cream, as its whole marketing and "look & feel" is all about ice-cream. However I wandered in and asked if they served coffee and 5 minutes later I was sitting in a cool pebbled garden with pastel tables & chairs and a very nice coffee. The waitress was lovely - helpful and attentive. I will definitely go back....for coffee!

Beautiful ice cream, the best in Whitstable. Really helpful and friendly staff! The pistachio is to die for!

We love the Broadstairs shop so great to have a Morelli’s on our door step, ice cream is fantastic good Italian coffee - nice shot of espresso but the lovely manager made it really pleasant too- credit to the brand and the familia - people moan about cost ? Mr whippy ice cream van on the harbour is more expensive and where does he go to the toilet .. I’m just saying!

Usually go to the gelato shop near the beach but thought we would try the new morelli’s shop …… charging extra per scoop for certain flavours !!!!! Shocking ! ……and before you defend yourselves Morellis with Pistachio paste is more expensive ….. you make your own gelato ..prices are more than everyone else’s .. do you really need to rip off people with an extra pound by calling them premium flavours and that’s all it says in the pan … a star with premium flavour on with no mention of extra cost! Until after you have your ice cream in your hand then they point to a little hand written piece of cardboard that says premium flavours extra !

Cracking Italian style ice cream and sorbet a stone’s throw from the sea front. Really helpful and friendly staff.

Morelis has opened in Whitstable and it’s amazing! Lovely shop , lovely ice cream and coffees it’s the best!
