We got a takeaway from this place, food was great but unfortunately they forgot the 3 naan breads we ordered and when we phoned them to come back they only brought 2 and they weren't the right type we ordered, so just be careful and check you have everything before the driver leaves.

These guys serve great food that offers the chance to try other dishes than the usual British/Bangladesh dishes. If you like hot try the Naga dishes, king prawn is my favourite, but be warned, food from that region is known to be the hottest 🥵.

The owner/ manager was very rude to a member of his staff and us as customers all over adding £2.80 for the bill for some papadums. Average food, no mango chutney with the papadums, terrible butter chicken. Wouldn’t return based on how rude the manager was.

I walked in not knowing what to order as I don’t have Indian food very often and forget the names. I was served by the gentleman that also delivers and he was incredibly helpful, patient and extremely happy in he’s job. The meal, just for me, was made to measure more than I realised but I managed to squeeze it in and the taste was absolutely beautiful, so much so that I’m ordering from here very often in future. The problem is, I don’t want to change anything as it was so reallllly lovely and I throughly enjoyed every last spoonful.

This is our favorite curry shop in town.. The staff are very nice and the curries are not overly sweet (which we have found to be the case at other places). Our favorites are the Saag Paneer which has homemade cheese (we asked) and the Chicken Tikka Madras.

Meat (Lamb) was inedible. Flavour was good on all but as I couldn't eat the meat 2 stars. The barges were a little odd and just as good as supermarkets so not the standard I expected. Naan's and mushroom rice were lovely.

24th Feb 2023 Food is OK. Due to next to no competition in this small town, the quality of Indian food available is low. Compare this to London where you can find Michelin star Indian restaurants for example, or excellent normal ones. There wasn't too much oil in the dishes, and everything was cooked well. Veggies were overcooked and mushy. Tasted OK overall. Chicken dish tasted good but lacked heat. Sliced green chillies were placed on top, but weren't cooked. Just raw. One hadn't been sliced so I got a mouthful of intense heat. Chicken jalfrezi had no visible peppers in it. The dish is meant to have it. Every Indian in this town is doing this. Not OK. Portion was small. Still, I rate this dish. It was good in taste. My bowel movements were affected negatively, but it doesn't seem to be food poisoning. Still have part of the meal to eat which I've put in the fridge for later. Naan loaded with sugar which is unhealthy and gross. Plain naan became hard fast, perhaps due to a lack of butter on top? Don't know. I called before to ask about delivery and help with dish selection but I couldn't hear the guy well, so had to ask multiple times what he was saying. I suspect it was the owner. He quickly became aggressive in tone because I kept asking him to repeat as I couldn't make out what he was saying. Not good. At first I thought it was the line, but after he got aggressive he seemed to reposition the phone in his anger. I could hear him clearer. It may also be the way he talks isn't very clear. Whether that be genetics and that's just how his voice is, or something else, I don't know. Overall, I would recommend, only because there's no other decent Indian in town, and the only good one, is now permanently closed due to retirement. Otherwise, if you can, research and pick a good one in London. Also I think Canterbury has a Michelin star Indian. Need to research and eat there still. Hygiene rating is 4 star. Sadly it's the highest in this town. The other two Indians are 3 star and haven't been inspected for a long time. Also, I think every restaurant should have a fully open/visible kitchen and all food storage areas. This would ensure hygiene compliance at all times. A la turka here in town for example, has a open kitchen, but no open storage areas. Delivery guy just stood there when I opened the door with the safety chain on. He didn't say a word. Just stood there. Had to ask if it was the takeaway, which I shouldn't have to for security reasons. He should have explained who he is and from what restaurant when I opened the door. Update 25th Feb. I have very mild diarrhea from eating from here. So you can decide if you want to eat from here or not.

Probably been said before, lovely family run hotel. Staff were all amazing, very helpful on local attractions. Rooms were lovely, free safe car parking, great breakfast selection, and cooked perfectly. 15 minuites walk from Canterbury City centre, will definitely go back.

£30 worth of food left off the order, told to claim a refund through just eat- the customer service is as good as the food, 1 star abysmal. If you want decent BBQ come to my house and I’ll cook for you. You could buy this rubbish in a packet at M&S.

Pure rubbish. Prawn toast = fried bread, all fried food from the freezer. Not Thai at all, greasy frozen food.. don’t bother.
