I'm their website advertised at £4.99 however in the shop they charged £9.00 when questioned said that's how much it is, one of the staff on phone swearing while there were young girls present in place, I did want to confront him however didn't want to get into an argument. I certainly would not recommend this place.
Disappointed with Cold Food and Rude Response
I visited Greggs at St George’s Shopping Centre in Preston on Sunday 12th May 2025 around 2 PM with my wife and kids. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
We ordered several items, including 4 sausage rolls, but they were served cold and were uneatable. When I politely raised this with the staff, I was told, “it is what it is” — which I found quite rude and unhelpful.
It’s understandable that places get busy, but a bit of courtesy and explanation would have made a big difference. The rest of the food was fine, but this let the whole visit down, especially with young kids who were hungry.
I hope the team takes feedback like this seriously and improves their customer service and food standards.
Ordered a stuffed crust Doner pizza with onions and olives. Pizza arrived early, tasted lovely it’s a shame that the main part of the pizza (the doner meat) was missing!

Order notes not followed at all. Asked for wings to be well extra done but wasn’t, skin was still white and soggy, no crisp to them at all also chose fries with the wings but sent rice. Burger was decent.First time ordering here and won’t be ordering again.

Got cheese&onion bake, chicken bake and hash browns. All of which are supposed to be hot food, but all of them were so cold it looked like they served stale food. Didn't like it at all
Cleanish, usual service for a Chinese takeaway. A bit dated, needs a refurb. Very amatuer paint job inside.
Was empty when I went if that says anything.
Food isn't remarkable, a bit dull tasting. Have had better.
When it’s open it’s great! However, I’ve lost count the number of times we’ve come to visit the cafe and it’s been closed. Very disappointing and not a good way to manage a business. Given up going there now and it’s never open on a Saturday.
Excellent quality ingredients. We had a bacon roll and a sausage and bacon roll with an extra hash brown which we added on top on the roll. Crispy bacon, perfectly cooked sausage on a crusty roll. Have been back to the train station since just for this. Latte was ok too.
Just had the most delicious jacket potato 🥔 with beans and coleslaw and as always in this cafe was absolutely delicious can't think of anything else to say but yea, go here for U lunch well worth it
