Greggs in Preston

Disappointed with Cold Food and Rude Response I visited Greggs at St George’s Shopping Centre in Preston on Sunday 12th May 2025 around 2 PM with my wife and kids. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We ordered several items, including 4 sausage rolls, but they were served cold and were uneatable. When I politely raised this with the staff, I was told, “it is what it is” — which I found quite rude and unhelpful. It’s understandable that places get busy, but a bit of courtesy and explanation would have made a big difference. The rest of the food was fine, but this let the whole visit down, especially with young kids who were hungry. I hope the team takes feedback like this seriously and improves their customer service and food standards.

Typical Greggs tbh. Not been to one for 3 years. The Stk bake was underwhelming, it also shrunk a lot in the 3 years I have been traveling.

Nice clean shop. The customer service environment was not very friendly or welcoming, like a greet, etc. But the service was okay. Got my drinks and left Overall Okey 👍

Got a chicken bake and pepperoni pizza didn’t even say that they was cold. Disappointed normally really good.

Decent place staff are friendly

One of my favourite chains in all of England, and this one in particular is fantastic. Favourite savoury items are the vegan sausage roll and the wedges. The wedges have to be the best wedges I've ever tasted, they're usually a pretty medicore food option and it was only by chance that I tried, and then loved them. The best desert option is the Belgian bun - a glorious treat. The prices are unbelievable for what you get. I now fully comprehend why Greggs has a culture following in the UK and I'll be in debt to this land forever for providing me with such a flavourful experience. The name Greggs is a little weird for a takeaway joint, but whoever Gregg was, they were a genius.

Decent baked snacks, not many better than a Greg's sausage roll. Good value breakfast too

Greggs does lovey food and drinks but sadly most of the prices have gone up but don't let this put you off. My favourite thing to get from Greggs is a sausage role,no other place has better sausage roles than Greggs, great scran, you have to try.

Sandwiches made fresh daily there's a couple of special deals on offer. Bacon barm & coffee is OK to start the day.

The coffee is better then Costa.

New meal deals and pricing are way to high for Greggs.

Two bacon rolls cold, bacon tired wish I never bothered, chicken pastie and sausage bean pasty cold nothing warm very disappointing. Won’t be bothering again

Handy location not far from the train station, this is useful if you have an early train because there are no other coffee or food outlets nearby that item at 6.30am like Greggs do.

Great place to obtain a drink and a snack, good value.

Hot food is always cold, even when fresh trays are put into the window. Service is always very slow

It's Greg's what else can be said. Service is good at this place and its always clean here, even by being on busy street, the staff look after the shop.
