Do not order from here unless you want to be berated and harassed by the takeaway owner, the boss should really take some lessons in decorum and learn how to run a business smoothly and teach his employees to communicate in a more professional manner to avoid these mistakes. Edited- As previously stated by many other reviews on here the owner runs to Facebook using names and a fake narrative to incite cyber bullying rather than remaining calm and professional. We told the worker on the phone that we wished to cancel the order as they hadn’t prepared it and we still had another 15-20 minute wait which would make the food 25-30 minutes later than the 1 hour eta. They said orders were only prepared when a driver was known to be returning to ensure the food is hot, it seems on Facebook they have changed that story to our food being ready and us never telling them we wished to cancel. We never asked the boss to break his fast late, we never wanted the food at all and we certainly didn’t want to be called repeatedly while he waited outside our home all while being rude and not taking no for an answer, causing my boyfriend to get understandably irritable. We had already ordered somewhere else and were not going to over spend our means for food we could not eat and simply listening to your customers would have avoided this. Years of experience do not make you exempt from improvement, as can be seen from your lack of customer service skills, your team communication and your food hygiene rating of 3.

Ordered tonight, ordered a Donner and shish on naan no tomato just garlic sauce plus a garlic bread with cheese. Garlic bread was delicious the kebab however ended up as a chicken and shish with garlic and chilli sauce, no tomatoes so not too bad! Was looking forward to some dirty Donner.....crying now 😭

Just ordered from micks hut I had chicken korma and chips with peshwari naan and my partner had large donner kebab with chilli and mayo and it has to be the best place I've ordered from in preston the food is always hot and fresh delivered fast would definitely be ordering from here again

Look no further! I’ve been going to Micks Hut since 1994 and the food has always been amazing. Service is fast,, food is hot and fresh and prices are no more expensive than run of the mill takeaways which this is not! As a regular customer, I recommend the garlic bread with cheese and chicken kebab (served on a proper Naan - none of this pitta bread rubbish! Enjoy!,

I always pre-order via messenger for delivery, the service and food have never disappointed. Best mixed kebab (lamb and chicken) around, kids love the cheese burgers and also the pizzas. The currys are very flavoursome and well balanced. Not tried the new boxed meals but definitely will in the future 👍

Always go for the kebabs, usually chicken, sonetimes mixed, but the naan bread always makes them outstanding. Never had a bad one in 15 years. Good value as they are really filling and top quality.

Asian pizza I have ordered was so good

We ordered the mixed grill with rice and got chips vindaloo sauce and a garlic naan bread. We shared this and the sauce the grill cones with is amazing. I love the garlic naans from here no where else can beat them 😋

Concerning hygiene practices observed. The older man handling food and money without handwashing or gloves raised sanitation worries. A potential health hazard that needs attention for the well-being of customers. Vigilance in food handling is crucial for a safe dining experience.

Just seen a post on Facebook and owner is shaming people who leave bad reviews. This is also against Googles Terms of Service and I will be reporting this to Google My Business.

Owner is unprofessional and if you are unfortunate enough to have a problem with your order they will plaster your review on their page and make a joke about it. For this reason I can not recommend them.

Great late night takeaway. Often busy but never too long of a wait. Right next to the taxi rank too which is useful. Pizzas are my favourite choice.

A huge thank you to Romans and Zed for saving our lives!! We were stuck with 50 12 year olds at Preston station for 5 hours after train cancellations. The boys cooked us up 60 bags of chips, cut price huge portions and helped deliver them to the station as we walked down from the shop. The world needs more business owners like these fellas. Ordered coupla curries from these guys, it was so amazing that i was licking my fingers after 3 to 5 mins of finishing it Superb, top of the line someone recommended it to me, now i am gonna recommend it to everyone What i liked about them is ... Their curries are already made to perfection but if u dont want something in the curries or wanna add something they'll literally alter their recipes just for you

Very unhappy with my service the person on the phone was very flirtatious with my wife, he asked her for her full name, age and email address plus her phone number will be on the system this is very un professional if u need email addresses, why do u not do online service. I know the manager of this premises he goes to my gym and he would not be happy with this customer service and I will be naming and shaming them on Facebook and trading standards.

Ordered a large donner from Mick's Hut last night (Friday). Delivery was pretty fast and the Kebab was absolutely delicious. Probably the best donner kebab I've ever had and it was massive. Can't recommend highly enough. A+++

Used to be good. Got kebab last night. for some reason the kebab meat needed to be fried. I think it was kept in a tub overnight. Possibly for longer. The meat was rotten smelt and tasted disgusting. Will never use again advise others to not use as food disgusting and possibly harmful. I threw it away.

Usually get a chicken kebab, but opted for an Indian & Nan. Pretty bland, not much curry, Nan was huge but dry and tasteless.

Very tasty kebabs. I always get a chicken and doner kebab, and they do it to perfection! Their service is excellent, they will have your order ready for collection within 10 mins and their delivery times are always really good too. I have been going here for kebabs for years now, and even though I have tried others I have never found one that is a patch on micks hut.

Arrived into Preston 4 hours late on the train, starving. Knew I wanted a chicken shish, Mick's Hut looked like the place to go. Ordered, paid our 7.50 and before I knew it the guy put my weighty order in my hands. This thing was a Goliath. I had no idea there was an Indian/Tandoori speciality to the food here so wasn't expecting what I opened. The wrap, more like a bigger, softer garlic naan bread. The chicken, unbelievable in both portions and taste, the smoky pink colour of the tandoori spices shining through. All topped off with fresh salad, garlic and chilli. An absolute delight, the best kebab I've ever had. Thanks Mick. From a Londoner.

I had pizzas, burgers, kebabs, I had it multiple times over my short lifetime. They always have extraordinary wait times and amazing consistency. The food was always amazing. I cannot stress enough how good the food is. If you like eating food. Go here

Tonight I felt done too, I usually go to Micks Hut several times a month and travel approx 10 miles each way for an excellent mixed Kebab, I always ask for extra meat and buy 3 at a time and this is usually enough for family and friends to share. I tell everyone to go to Micks Hut. Tonight was my sons birthday, I thought I would treat him and ordered two mixed kebabs to the value of £10 each, when I got them home they were smaller than usual and the donner meat was in small pieces not the long stringy lengths and wasn't that tasty, the chicken was excellent just less than I expected

Best chicken kebab in Preston. Family from down south came up to visit and they wanted to go here cos I've raved about it for much. They ordered chicken kebabs and said they're the best they've ever had from anywhere . Loads of chicken, wrapped in naan bread salad, chilli sauce and garlic mayo. What's not to like!

Really really generous amounts of meat, normally after a kebab I am starving but this one filled me up!!! Absolutely delicious!!! Well done and keep up the good portion sizes, my dad loved his one too!!!
