Stayed for one night on business. Lovely hotel and really nice room - it was quiet, the bed was super comfy and it was clean. Sue the breakfast host was absolutely delightful, she was warm, kind and caring to everyone. She is a real asset to the hotel and I heard her saying that she is retiring - I hope Premier Inn celebrates her wonderful work 💗

Good location, arrived to attend a uni interview for my daughter. Reserved a twin room but was given a double and we had to get it changed and therefore delay in checking in despite arriving after 5pm! Dinner was also not available as we didn’t book and they had only one cook ; there are a few restaurants around though. The hotel itself is nice and clean and very busy even on a weekday.

We were greeted by Ismail and lavina we had some issues getting in our room we had checked in with the machine and the issue was sorted very rapidly they took note of the overtired toddler trying to sleep on the floor and even offered to come up and ensure we got into our room with no problem when we went down to breakfast the kitchen staff were exceptionally friendly hardworking nothing was too much it appears that the kitchen stuff and the front of of house staff and kichen team worked seamlessly together on the final day we will once again greeted by Ismail who seamed to have all the time in the world for ever customer he gave us the choice in where we could sit which is always helpful with an autistic child can you took the time to greet our children as individuals and take an interest in what they had to say which really made our whole holiday thanks again

Finding myself unexpectedly having to spend the night in Preston, it being impossible to reach my final destination on the train that night, I was pointed in the direction of the Premier Inn, having discovered that two pubs near the railway station, supposedly 'with rooms', no longer offered accommodation. It transpired that the managers of both had apparently decided to live in the former rental rooms themselves! Well, I have stayed in many Premier Inns over the years and, from the outside, I wasn't expecting all that much. HOWEVER, what made this visit exceptional was the welcome by Mikey, the young guy on reception and the cheeriness of the staff at breakfast. But first things first. Mikey could not have done more to welcome me, as a weary late-night traveller on a cold winter's night. He sorted out the perfect room for me and even let me use his mobile to ring my friends to tell them where I was, my own smartphone having gone AWOL. I do not often award gold stars, but this young man was so helpful that I emailed the management a few days later and hope my commendation was passed on. I must confess that I have had some pretty average breakfasts in other Premier Inns, but this offering was absolutely splendid. There was a really good choice of cereals, pastries, bread, hot and cold drinks, as well as an excellent breakfast buffet, including my favourite black pudding. My only quibble is that the kitchen was rather slow in replenishing stock and I heard a few moans about items not being available. That being said, the team at breakfast was cheerful, helpful and keen to please. Well done all round!

Room was very comfortable and location was great. The service was outstanding from Harry and Mikey, from we set foot in the hotel until we left . I have to say it was the best service I’ve ever had at any hotel. It made our stay very enjoyable.

Easy to find, car park wasn’t far, quality staff, credits to Harry he made us feel soo welcome and we really enjoyed our stay we will definitely be coming back ~ Jess and Tom

Room was fine, bed was better than most I’ve stayed in. Shower was superb & breakfast was good. But …… the evening meal was terrible. It took over an hour for the main to come out after the starters. We were 4 people & there was only 1 other person there. This meant we were late for the family party we were there for. The food was ok but not great. The young man who served us was great. He was on reception, the bar & being waiter which is ridiculous tbh. The hotel needs updating & Premier Inn need to stop penny pinching.

Room standard prices, expensive during events and breakfast pricey when you can get cheaper at wetherspoons for £3 and coffee for under £2! The problems with the rooms are the TV is too low for hard of hearing people!

I stayed at the Premier Inn in Preston three weeks ago after a day of sightseeing. I realised I had made a mistake with my reservation dates, but Ismail at the front desk went above and beyond to help me out. His professionalism and kindness truly saved the day. A big thank you to Ismail for his excellent service! Highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding staff.

5 stars all across the board. Comfy bed, clean room. Breakfast was lovely with extra complements to Sue. She was kind and an exceptional server!

Have been stopping here for a few weeks with my partner and children and Mikey has gone above and beyond for me and my family, really kind guy and a massive credit to premier inn!! Phoniex also is very friendly and always happy! Made our stay here very pleasant :)

We stayed for 4 nights in August as we did last year. Unfortunately this was a very different experience. Despite repeated requests our rooms were not cleaned once. We spoke to Shannon the Duty Manager who apologised and offered us a free breakfast and a refund on our extra charge for an early check in. 2 months later despite several phone calls we are still waiting for a refund. Premier Inn guest relations have now stopped replying to my emails Absolutely shocking

Do not stay here on a Saturday if you want to sleep or if you do bring ear plugs. There is a very loud bar/club on the ground floor so noise comes up to even 5th floor. One of the worst hotel experiences I unfortunately ever had.

Excellent service, Fantastic rooms, Amazing food.

I booked a room but did not receive an email or invoice from this motel and they deducted my money and then went to the reception room to ask if they were not working. I paid £128 and there is no room left

Locatie en personeel goed MAAR De kamers ... ter verduidelijking kamer 111 ik vermoed bed bugs want ik krab mij sinds dien onnozel. De inkom beneden is vies en de geur doorheen het hotel is vreemd . Ontbijt was ok maar ik kom geen 2de keer meer , ik heb dit ook zo doorgegeven aan het bedrijf waar ik voor werk.

The hotel is dated with worn with dirty carpets but rooms are clean and staff are very polite. The parking facilities are public and located close by on Wilfrid Street. Beware there is a scam operated out of it if you do use it retain your ticket and take picture evidence of the ticket displayed in the car. Review the car park website the scam has been in place for years. The hotel should not be referring their guests to it. The matter has been reported to the police
