staff are clearly under paid, one of the staff members looks underage she was the only nice person when i arrived food came out cold

Excellent sandwiches I had a bacon and sausage and my wife had a bacon one, both were excellent and a great latte as well

We regularly visit this Pizza Express as it’s our local restaurant. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Service and food is always great and we will definitely be back soon.

The regular chicken kebab with fresh salad, soft pitta, topped with chilli & garlic sauce is delicious 😍 Friendly and professional. Many thanks 😁⭐

We went for lunch and ordered gammon, egg, pineapple, chips and peas. The food arrived, they had run out of pineapple, the egg wasn't cooked it was snotty, the chips were overcooked and the gammon was tough as old boots. We will definitely not return to this hotel.

We have been numerous times before and enjoyed the food, especially carvery, and varied menu. My husband had the burger, our daughters had the buttermilk chicken burger, small plate honey chicken and steamed dumplings - all fantastic 👍. I had the Mexican beef wrap, very disappointed - dry plain beef, no lime mayo or coriander. I sent it back and got another, this time it had a mayo sauce but the beef seemed dry still and bland. I'm not a fussy eater but couldn't eat it. The staff were apologetic and very nice, offered us a free cake, much to the delight of my daughters! We've had the carvery before and I will come again but will choose wisely from the menu

Started coming here more frequently now. Like the title says, it’s really had upped its game this year. I’ll try to keep it short ! Great sun trap, especially with the weather getting much better now. The Lamb Shank was lovely, and well presented. Decent price too! Mixr app - Gain points for every purchase. Spend them (When gained enough), to get discounts. Mixr app also offered free drinks, every now and again. That you can redeem, until a certain date. Staff are friendly, quiz night, etc. Check it out!

There was once I vowed never to eat here again after a very overcooked steak and several other previously bad meals. The food now is unrecognisable and much, much better. There must be a new kitchen staff as I have had consistently well cooked food that is a steal at the price. Tonight’s medium rare Sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and to top it all.

Arrived with a warm welcome to camp over night in our campervan! Had drinks at the bar and breakfast in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who helped us a solve a couple of dilemmas. One, staff let me use a plug to do my hair for an important event as our battery was not working and secondly, kept my bag with all belongings safe when I’d left it at the bar the previous evening! I wouldn’t hesitate in staying here again, honestly can’t thank or praise your staff enough! Thank you so much!!!!!!!

I'm sorry for this review but the chips were absolutely awful! I go to a chippy once a week but those were the worst I've ever tasted! Terrible portions aswell gave me about 5 chips in a small breadcake. The only thing that was nice was the bread.

We visited here about 2 years ago and had a terrible experience! Poor service and the food was even worse!! Then we moved to the area a year ago and came back to be pleasantly surprised nice food, good service. Unfortunately visited another 2 times to be left half an hour without even taking a drinks order then waited about an hour for the food to arrive! A mistake/error? The place was quiet! Offered us 25% discount on our meals that didn’t even cover the extra drink we purchased whilst waiting! Disappointingly poor service! Food was actually quite nice but service is appalling!!
