Our visit for an afternoon tea was very disappointing. Yes, we arrived early and they greeted us well, but the food wasn't up to our usual expected standard. I sent my supermarket stale scone back and they brought me the same again. Why couldn't they bake their own. I thought the small cake selection were bought in as well, so not a good experience for my friends birthday celebration. Would not be a returning customer

A monthly gathering with work colleagues, very friendly couple served our drinks , we ordered off the lighter lunch menu , two of us had the scampi which was delicious and just enough portion size , one had the steak sandwich and another had the avocado 🥑 salad on focaccia all really lovely , will be back !

Possibly the worst dining out experience ever. My husband ordered fish and chips. Very small portion of chips and the fish was dry and cold. When he complained they took it away and brought the same fish back on a hotter plate - still inedible! When he asked for the fish to be replaced he was told they didn’t have any more. I ordered the house salad and a side of chunky chips. Most of the chips were scraps. The salad was a disgrace, it was mainly leaves with a watery dressing. The menu said the salad included tenderstem broccoli, mangetout and red onion. These were missing, the server brought me some broccoli on a side plate and said that the kitchen didn’t have any onions! What professional kitchen runs out of fish and onions? If I could give this zero stars I would.

Not too busy, not too quiet. Came to watch the football and ended up playing a game of chess! A variety of board games on offer and very friendly service.

Welcomed by Beth. Who gave great friendly service. Great food. A none garlic eater, I was able to get the delicious Hunters chicken without. So many restaurants put it in everything, because they just don’t know how to seasoning food without. A great upbeat vibe throughout the pub/ restaurant. Will definitely go again and again.

We booked a family lunch; consisting of 4 generations, here to celebrate a 96th birthday. We all enjoyed fabulous food at a very reasonable price served by friendly and welcoming staff. The children's meals were exceptional good value.

Just back from lunch,and have to say the two roast lunches served along with deserts were very enjoyable. The event was spoiled by the price of the drinks, over £5 for a tot of whisky,and over £4 for a J2O substitute was a little OTT. We are seeing more people asking for tap water ,or not having a drink at all these days,and in more cost saving times,this is not surprising.

Came here early for Sunday Roast before our drive down south. All enjoyed an amazing roast with excellent sides, the flavour in the food was amazing. Enjoyed lovely dessert & coffees. Really recommend this pub to others. The food was delicious. Definitely coming back!

Had the most delicious Sunday lunch today, table of 4 had full Sunday roast , drinks & desert & cappuccinos for under £100!! Will definitely be coming again….. soon.

We were in Lytham for a short break and The Fairhaven was the nearest place for food so we decided to try it. On entering we found the atmosphere to be convivial and received a warm and friendly greeting from the staff. All tables were supplied with menus and table numbers making ordering easy. The pub carries a good selection of beers and spirits as well as wines. The menu should offer something for everyone and we both ordered different meals, based on the menus descriptions. When our food arrived it was well presented ( though using fewer plates and ramekins could reduce the overall washing/power bill ) however the food itself was tasteless and some of it appeared to be leftovers reheated. Safe to say we won't be eating here again but would have no problem having a drink. .

Fair haven pub food is a rip off charged my daughter £2.85 just to fill a bottle of milk calamari was scraps and the pudding was jamaica ginger cake and lumpy custard absolutely terrible food and won't be going back there disgusting enough for a child on adult portions

We visited today for Mother’s Day and were superbly looked after. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive on what must have been a very busy day for them. Sauces were brought, extra gravy too, and our photo was taken all without any feeling of being rushed. We felt very looked after. The mother of the party being given a little gift was very thoughtful and made a big impression. Thank you so much team Fairhaven.

Went for the Sunday lunch, all three of us went for the triple roast and it was absolutely delicious. The meats were so tasty and melt in the mouth tender, lovely thick gravy and delicious veg. Obviously pretty good place as there were loads of tables reserved and a constant stream of walk ins too. It was a sunny day and the beer garden was full when we arrived at 1245 ish, would be a gorgeous place to sit out in the Summer. Dog friendly most of inside too.

Lovely food - all fresh. 4 adults and one child and we were all really happy with the food and friendly, excellent service. Our dog was also made welcome. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Sunday Lunch with friends. The food was excellent, good size portions and very nice. The staff were lovely. There were some well behaved dogs in the pub, but we were seated in the dog free area and didn't notice them. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

As consistent as ever. This is our second visit, we came 2 years ago to this delightful pub near The Fairhaven lake. The food was spot on and an excellent ale selection. If you like your scotches there is a nice selection behind the bar The bar team were lovely friendly and welcoming. Very, very dog friendly, with doggy snacks behind the bar. Pawstar Martini. Will definitely be back.

Dog haven u can not avoid them so if ur like me and have pet allergies avoid 🤧 no where to sit to avoid them an chicken was like rubber will not be returning

This is a nice pub with great staff. However, it promotes itself as ‘dog friendly’ which is an understatement. Most of the pub is set aside for dogs and those of us who prefer a non-dog area are told to use a part of the lounge at the rear of the dining area - very dull and no atmosphere! Perhaps one area of the bar should be reserved for ‘dog free’ so that those who wish to eat and drink away from dogs feel as welcome as those who bring their pets with them. A better arrangement may make us all feel welcome

Lovely food at a reasonable price. Used the free drink when downloaded the app. Menu had alot of choice. The 2 courses for £14.50 was a bargain and plentiful. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We will return

Fabulous Fairhaven, lovely atmosphere, cask ales, great food. All the staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. Got to mention Charles cos known him longer. Great sense of humour, very professional and exceptional service.

Lovely meal with the family, friendly staff and all round a decent pub. Will be going back. Steak was well cooked and the wife's lamb smelt amazing.

The Aspall cider was sweet and delicious, I felt the effects of having a pint without even feeling like it was alcohol, the Amstel beer was also good, I've had multiple drinks there over time as it is my local. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant with a good view of Clifton Drive.

Had our family Christmas meal here recently. We had a variety of meals from the Xmas and daily menus. There was plenty to choose from and all the food was delicious. Evie, who served us, was attentive and made sure were happy at all times.
