The best restaurants serving Default food in Burnley North West

I did quite a lengthy (But very scenic) Motorcycle ride with 2 friends. One of them was local to this area. For me, it was new. What a gem this place turned out to be. I shall be returning with another friend in the very near future.

We had our wedding at The Lawrence in Padiham, and honestly, it was everything we hoped for and more. The venue has such a beautiful rustic charm—it felt warm, intimate, and totally us. From the fairy lights and natural wood to the relaxed layout, it created the perfect setting for our day. Olivia, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing. Calm, kind, and completely on top of everything. She took all the stress out of the planning and kept the day running smoothly without us ever feeling rushed. She’s a superstar. We went with afternoon tea for our wedding breakfast, and it was spot-on. Everything looked incredible—and tasted even better. What really stood out though was the little touches. For example, I hate cucumber—and without even having to say anything on the day, the server handed me a plate with none in sight. I didn’t even need to look or ask. That level of thoughtfulness really shines through.. The ceremony space was gorgeous, the vibe was relaxed, and the whole day felt like it truly reflected us. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. If you’re looking for a venue that’s stylish but not stuffy, relaxed but perfectly run, The Lawrence is it. Everything, as usual, was so tasty! We rang our order through & I drove from Hapton to collect, so an 8 mile round trip - it was all ready to collect & piping hot 🔥 Best pizza around. We've tried everywhere else but nothing beats an Enzo's! Excellent value & unbeatable taste every time. We always order extra pizza. So, 2 x large Vegetarian and 2 x large Enzo's Special pizza - ordered on Sunday & it's lasted two of us until today...... am just finishing the "leftovers" in the air fryer now! The Tiramisu is Heavenly...... we ate a whole one each! Thanks to the great Enzo's pizza "crew" 👏 See you again very soon!

The event was a massive success the staff and families (over 300 people) loved the day the presentation was amazing and the food delicious.

Not really an atmosphere as it’s a sandwich shop, the food is average but the staff are quick and friendly

An extremely tasty cafe burger. Perfect seasoned burger 🍔 great burger meat bread mix. Chips were likewise perfectly cooked.

Really tasty food, quick delivery and food arrived hot. Large portion sizes but need to add a kids menu to the options as a main meal is too much for a child!Quite expensive for a takeaway but would order again for a special occasion!

Popped in with my husband and friend and wow - the food was just divine and the service was perfect. I’d highly recommend the chicken steaks with chips (with a side of cheesy garlic bread which blows your socks off). An absolute hidden gem and ridiculously cheap- we will deffo be back!

It was a disgrace what the serverd me 2 soggy chop suey rolle special Currys that was mixed with a chop suey no unions and the curry sauce was bland looked like it came out of the bin

Prices have gone up and food quality has gone down. Such a shame as we are regulars here. Party of 7 and all the food was mediocre and not up to the usual standard.

Nice overall experience. Food was good, service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely love this place!! Went for a 30th birthday, 23 of us went and the service was amazing, not one hiccup ! Food was delicious, staff are lovely, price of food is very reasonable also have a take away menu... Honestly worth a visit been back a few times since in large parties and service exactly the same 💯! Would definitely recommend *****
