The Lawrence in Burnley

We were at a wedding, but didn't stay in accommodation.

Very pleasant stay. Very well priced, including a bottle of bubbly. Great staff, great food and drink. What's not to love? 😀👍🥂

We had the absolute pleasure of having our wedding day at The Lawrence Hotel. As soon as we walked in the front door we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. We didn’t even look at other venues we were so certain. The team was amazing, from early correspondence down to on the day management with great communication throughout. I’m sure we’ll be back for visits going forward for their different events that they host.

The hotel was kept to a great standard. Our room was lovely and spacious. All the staff members were incredibly helpful and provided a top tier service, and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend a night or two stay at the hotel.

We went to The Lawrence for Buffet / Afternoon Tea for a post Funeral gathering reception. The service was very good. As were all the sandwiches and homemade cakes and scones. Tea & Coffee. Good beers on tap too. Very impressed. I did not realise this was in Padiham but now I have been I would highly recommend and would return. Many Thanks

Overall this is a very good place for a few thing, weddings as I've been to one, or other events, food was good

Stayed for a wedding for two nights. Staff were exceptional. The food was amazing. The rooms were comfortable and had everything that was needed. One slight improvement, more teabags! 🤣

Went here for a funeral wake seemed pleasant enough returned here for a family birthday celebration great service from the team

Well we had a bad experience with the Lawrence restaurant at Xmas. They gave us a £200 voucher to use anytime .so we have 3 family members birthday altogether. So we booked a .meal for 6 adults and 3 children. Starters came and they got only 1 item which wasn't what we wanted ,then main meals came my wife had ordered her favourite Duck ,but when it arrived she said it was off,my daughter had a sniff and confirmed that was the case even the waiter called Kyle agreed and took it away .then manager came in and said to my wife it wasn't off it was a high blood count ,by then 3 of adults decided we couldn't carry on eating .An apology would have been very nice .But we will definitely will not be using the Lawrence again .kevin

Shared a lovely afternoon tea here at The Laurence in the sunshine. Was wonderful to enjoy this outside on such & gorgeous day & when the sun got a bit too hot, the awning was great allowing us to still enjoy the outdoor experience. Great service & friendly attentive staff & of course, fabulous food. Thankyou

Well what can I say...my wife and I booked the Lawrence Hotel for a moonlight wedding package 12mths ago for March15th 2024. And for the 12mths leading upto the wedding, the wedding celebration on the day, right up until the moment we left, the Lawarence staff and owner Michael were exceptional. We were contacted and kept informed about everything, and met in person several times with the Lawrence leading upto the wedding day, everything was considered and taken care of when requested. The organisation of food, rooms, guests and any financial aspects was done with so much diligence we were blown away. The quality of the place, the food, the rooms at staff was not something I've experienced at such high levels in a long time. The Lawrence Hotel made our day so so so special and we could not be grateful enough to Michael and his team. The Lawrence is a gem of a place, don't miss it.

We stayed here at the weekend for a wedding. The food is amazing the best we’ve had consistently in one place before. The staff are brilliant hard working and polite. Great standard and mix of alcoholic drinks served. Really well located with everything at hand if you need it. The wedding was such an intimate service and quaint in its surroundings. I would not hesitate to recommend this place honestly, the whole package
