Aroma Asian Restaurant in Burnley

Good food and service. Was fairly quiet so not a brilliant atmosphere inside but the food and service from staff was top notch.

Met up with friends after they had been on the football. I'd booked the table for 5.30pm however my friends got caught up in the after match traffic so it was 5.55pm before we went in. The staff were great and quickly showed us to our table. We ordered drinks and they arrived quickly as well. There were 4 of us the party and we ordered a starter each then a main meal, me and my wife shared a rice but I had a chapati and she had a garlic nan. The food arrived over the next hour and it was fantastic. The staff were attentive during the meal but not overpowering. We were finished by 8pm, but we stay chatting and the staff were great with no pressure to leave. We got the bill which worked out at £60 per couple including drinks. We left at just before 9pm and what a wonderful, relaxed evening with friends that we don't see often. Once again the Aroma came up trumps with friendly attentive staff and fantastic Indian starters and mains. We will be back, and thank you so much.

Great experience, friendly staff and tasty food. Had a chance to try sunday menu and I could recommend it, big variety of meals to choose from.

Sunday night special. £14 for starter , main ,side and dessert. Plus poppadom and dips In total , with 1.5 pints of cobra and a coffee only £23. Good value. Food was absolutely great. The biriani came with an omelette ( never seen that before!) and the usual veggie curry which was excellent. Plenty of meat. The starter was three chicken wings and salad. Dessert was notionally cake , they were out so I had ice cream. All was excellent. Decor and ambience is modern , smart and pleasant open plan. On two floors. Service was very good indeed. I couldn’t find anything to complain at! I’d go again. Park in side streets nearby. Thoroughly recommend.

Have ordered a lot from here but waiting 2.5 hours for food is just too long, I pre ordered knowing it would be busy too and it was delayed twice. 2 curries 2 rice bread and a side £40. The korma was really watery with no flavour this time too and the naan very dry. Most of the time the food is good which is why I’m happy to pay the money as it’s very expensive compared to others around but this experience which has happened before has put me off ordering again.

Ordered online to be told food would be delivered by 645pm food turns up at 6pm im in the bath didn't here door driver went away but did return 30 mins later with hot food a nice chap in all fairness My problem is the curries are not what i like jalfrezi had too much masala tasting sauce in and the dopiaza had too much cinnamon in and swimming in oil Breads are ok as is rice but the curries are just not quite right for me

I've been coming to the restaurant for many year's now and the food, service and everything about the Aroma never changes it's always been a touch above the rest and definitely the best Burnley has to offer . I wouldn't think of going anywhere else .

Been before and had no hesitation coming back when some overseas visitors insisted on an Indian meal. The menu is vast and creative. We ended up having a mixed platter starter that went down well and a mix of mains that we all shared. All very good. Service was professional. Unbelievably (or perhaps a reflection of the midweek nighttime economy in Burnley) there was nobody else in the entire time we were here (Tuesday evening). That’s no reflection on the restaurant. Now with Thursday and Sunday special menus I wonder if extending it for the rest of the midweek trade would help.

Family of 5, celebrating GCSE results and also sons 15th Birthday. All had a mixture of starters and mains and food was enjoyed by all.. all absolutely stuffed!! Great service, great food, recommend👌

Amazing food , always used usha for Sunday night curry as we lived around the corner, but since we have moved up the other end of town we thought we would give aroma a try. Wow £14.90 for the Sunday special menu it's a hidden gem that most people don't seem to know about. Loads of choices for starters and mains and good parking around the back give it a try you won't be disappointed.

All the food was delicious, amazing onion bhajis and the best korma I've ever had. Staff were lovely as well. Only slight problem is the very open design makes it quite loud, although it was admittedly quite busy

What a fabulous experience we just had at Aroma. The food was fabulous, the ambience was lovely, and the service was first rate. This was our first trip to Burnley and we could not have picked a better spot to have dinner before heading back to the Wirral. Thank you Matine, for taking such good care of us.

Friends visiting from Glasgow and Dundee so we invited them to aroma. The food was amazing fresh tasty 10 out 10 The staff very very polite and also suggested curries that we didn’t know about. I’ll definitely be going back and if you’ve never been highly recommend it

We travelled from Haworth yesterday to try this restaurant. And what a delight! The best Indian cuisine I've ever tasted, big compliments to the chef, and all staff involved. We were looked after throughout by a pleasant young man which added to the lovely experience. Surroundings and decor are very pleasant also. We will definitely recommend and return thank you .

Wonderful evening, my daughters 13th birthday. Special measures from staff without hesitation to make my daughters evening one to remember with a birthday cake and chorus, and a mocktail on request! All of the staff including Mush, were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was delicious and came plentyful. I'd highly recommend if your looking for a friendly yet sophisticated evening.

We chose this restaurant on a whim while travelling and being in Burnley for the day. Thank you so much Mateen for such a warm and friendly welcome. Your lovely manners, your ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude and attentiveness made our evening . The best Asian restaurant with the most flavoursome dishes. Thank you for a really wonderful experience . Not sure if we will ever get the opportunity to return to the town but if we do, we will without a doubt come visit again .

We were recommended Aroma for a takeaway and I must admit it was all 100%, ,the delivery service was very good then the main part of it all was the food, I can’t find any fault to comment on. We had the chicken Balti and we weren’t disappointed. If this makes any sense the food looked clean when it was delivered, not swimming in oil and grease I can only say give it a try and you won’t go anywhere else.

Another great experience at Aroma- we visit here frequently and are always blown away by the food and the service! Mujtaba has absolutely brilliant customer service and makes us feel so welcome. Today he really helped us with choosing the dishes and has great advice on new stuff we wanted to try. He was so happy to answer any questions and overall a fantastic help, seriously recommend visiting if you are in the area!!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Aroma restaurant where the food was absolutely amazing. Not only was the food delicious, but the staff, particularly 'Mush', were incredibly attentive, warm, and polite. Normally, my family and I would get takeaways from this restaurant, but after experiencing such exceptional service, we are now aiming to dine in person more often. The combination of the fantastic food and the friendly staff made for a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience.

Amazing food at a reasonable price. I had the Chicken Tikka Madras, it's probably one of the best I've had. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The food was amazing, as was the general atmosphere but the highlight was the service. We were very looked after by our host, Mujtaba! He checked in on us at various points throughout the meal and was very helpful throughout it all and made it a very enjoyable experience. I ordered the Bombay Pistacho Korma as I was after something a bit milder and it really hit the spot. My partner ordered the chicken tikka jalfrezi which she also really enjoyed. Overall, our experience was great and I highly recommend.

The service was very polite and very easy, made sure to advise us and make us aware of anything different to regular curry’s. We was served by Mush and he was very nice and made sure we would enjoy the food. Overall extremely good and would recommend.

I have tried many of the Indian restaurants in lancashire and this one is by far my favourite. The food was fantastic and the staff were very attentive and friendly

The food was just amazing even my mum was so impressed and trust me she's fussy when it comes to our type of food. I've never thought she'd enjoy it as much but she loved it especially the naan breads she couldn't get enough of them. There were 4 of us dinning in and all of us were really happy,the portions was massive well worth the money obviously we couldn't finish everything. But the waiters told us that we can take it home so we promptly told them to pack it up for us coz good food should not be wasted. Keep up the good work to the staff of Aroma I think you guys are best in Burnley and as for that young waiter -manager I think it was the owners young son he was so accommodating and helpful too when we were choosing the dishes so top Marks for you mate. See you all in the next visit and I'm sure it won't be long.

This place was a complete turn-off. The food was obviously old and smelled off. I took one bite and nearly gagged. It was like they served me leftovers. On top of that, the owner behaviour was terrible as soon as we raised concerns, he started telling us to not disrespect them, even i just told them the food is not fresh, as a customer it was my right to complain if something is not right. Please Save your money and your stomach – avoid this restaurant!

Absolutely fantastic. The food was out of this world so much flavour you can tell these lot take good care of their food. All my friends enjoyed it. Everything came piping hot couldn't ask for anything more I wish I had room for deserts ah well next time. Keep up the good work to all staff at Aroma. Horrible place, if I could rate this place zero stars, I would. The food was an absolute nightmare. [starter dish] was dry and flavorless, and appeared to be freezer-burned and reheated, and the manager was dismissive and argumentative when we raised our concerns. This restaurant is a complete shambles. Avoid it at all cost

Wow this Restaurant never fails to Deliver on all counts. We have just been for the Thursday special deal and it was as amazing as always. Restaurant is always lovely and spotless very contemporary. Staff always so welcoming and friendly and very helpful nothing is too much trouble. Food is beautifully presented and tastes amazing the chicken just melts in your mouth. Love this restaurant highly recommend to give it a try if you’ve not already been.
